Boxwave Bodysuit vs VOIA Jelly Case - G Pad 8.3 Accessories

I now have both of these covers/cases and can compare and contrast.
The VOIA I got from amazon http://www.amazon.com/VOIA-Premium-Soft-Jelly-Case/dp/B00GA2PSIQ/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1391659286&sr=8-11&keywords=lg+gpad+8.3+tablet+case
The boxwave cover I got from their site http://www.boxwave.com/lg-g-pad-83-cases-and-covers/lg-g-pad-83-bodysuit/bwpdd/tmc-zwgz/
The VOIA cover is thicker and stiffer which makes it slightly harder to put on the device. The boxwave cover is thinner and softer in the choice of material. The shiny part on the back of the boxwave cover shows fingerprints and I have usually never been a big fan of a case that has "buttons" over the buttons which is what boxwave decided to do on the power/volume button side instead of cutouts. While the cutouts on the VOIA made me have to relearn how to push the buttons (slightly) the boxwave changed the feel of the buttons which I didn't like very much.
Cost wise I got them both for about the same price, but the VOIA feels like a quality choice whereas the boxwave seems to be something where I don't feel like I got my moneys worth (not that either was expensive in any way...)
If you are looking for a simple cover and when traveling are planning to put the device in a neoprene padded sleeve I would suggest the VOIA cover over the boxwave. Especially if the prices are equal.

I do also have VOIA LG G Pad 8.3 Premium Soft Jelly Case (in Black and Yellow) and I can confirm its quality and premium felling.

Wow depending on the color you choose the price can be as high as $50 for a VOIA TPU case.

Well yeah, I think it doesn't worth to pay 50$ for a jelly case, in my case I have bought each one of my jelly cases for around 11€.

best case for me

i want a small case, doesnt make the phone much larger, decent build quality,
any suggestions?
i saw some 8$ tpu cases on amazon, are those worth it?
Yeah those TPU cases are good. I have two of them and neither one has disappointed. The two I have are the ones below and for the second link I also have that one in a white version but obviously tends to get dirty a lot easier.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005MGUTW6/ref=oh_o01_s00_i00_details
http://www.amazon.com/BasalCase-Sam..._1_1?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1324009258&sr=1-1
The TPU-Cases ones are quite awesome. Very slim but professional, not-quite-soft but not-quite-hard, and well designed. Add to that the fact that TPU-Cases has excellent customer service and their cases are quite cheap (also try to order them direct if you can get free shipping instead of through Amazon), and there really isn't anything bad I can say about them. I have the matte black and the matte smoke, and they both look good on the E4GT.
Some folks have issues with the volume rockers being harder to press, but I actually prefer it that way, and there are a few easy fixes which reportedly work well if you find it problematic.
Just wanted to agree
I bought one and so did my wife. It is kind of an inside joke but I ALWAYS get the argyle one for all my phones. There is a subtle difference in our cases even though it is the same store. Mine doesn't have the power button covered. It is a lot more accessible. I am half tempted to take an exacto knife to the volume rocker.
The rubbery phone cases are a pain to get in and out of your pocket. Same goes for the silicon. The silicon cases easily fall of the phone and fall apart. Those hard but flexible cases really are the best. The do a good amount of protection.
The last thing I would add is on this phone I used a high gloss screen protector instead of Zapp. I like it a lot more. It was cheaper. It does soak up the fingerprints but the screen looks much better than the Zapp.
So, sometimes less is more. Otterbox and Zagg is about 80 bucks. This case and screen protector cost 20. You could get it for 10 on Amazon. I just like to support my local stores.
I got the TPU case from the second link for under 3$ from eBay nd I love it

Are the TPU cases dust magnets like silicone cases?
also, anyone use this one with a kickstand?

Nope they are not dust magnets.

I can't decide... (yep another case thread)

I wanted a as slim as possible case and I wanted it to protect all the way around the perimeter of the phone. Here are the choices (in order from first to last), help me decide.
Rearth Ringke Slim - At $28 it's a bit expensive and it doesn't cover the sides. Also looks to be less grippy since it's hard smooth plastic.
BoxWave Blackout - I'm worried it's thicker than a case like the Rearth, but with that said it protects all around and is really cheap at $12. I think the material is more rubber like which sounds more appealing to a gloss hard case. Not many reviews anywhere for this case.
elago G4elago G4 - I'm not sure about this case in general.
Thanks for your input.
Personally I like the Leather style flip cases, The one that doubles up as a wallet.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BLACK-WAL..._MobilePhonesCasesPouches&hash=item3374db7913
I would never pay more than £10 (delivered) for a case.
in terms of slimness i've basically narrowed it down to two giants.
1. sgp ultra thin
2. casemate barely there.
not sure which ones better but from what i can tell they're pretty much the same, both at a hefty 25 bucks.
anyways, i'm in the same boat as you. XD
not sure which case to get.

I have the rearth and it is very slim, the only down side it is a beeeoootch to take off (i have a dock/charger for the phone) and if you take it on and off a lot it cracks and the part closet to the usb port cover, nothing earth shattering it actually makes it much easier to take the case off - that and the sgp ultra clear and it is almost like having nothing on the phone at all.
I have used diztronic cases for the last year (for my SII and now my N7000). They are very similar to the boxweave case you posted.
http://www.amazon.com/Diztronic-Fle...0386413&sr=8-3&keywords=diztronic+galaxy+note
As you know TPU protects like a silicon case but doesn't stick in your pocket or collect lint and dust due to it not being "sticky" feeling. I recently sold my SII for over $300 after 8 months of daily use because my SII was in perfect condition as a result of being in a diztronic tpu case. No, I never dropped the phone on cement or anything but I dropped my SII on the carpet from 5+ feet and the phone was unchanged when I picked it up. Didn't pop out of case or battery, etc. Because the tpu cases have a 1/8 or so "lip" on the front they also allow the phone to be placed face down on flat surfaces. IMHO and experience, a good tpu case is all you need to fully protect your phone unless you work in construction or somehow expect to drop it on cement.
So, my vote goes to the boxweave or diztronic cases. BTW I got 2 diztronics for $14 from amazon, the black matte and smoke matte. Great deal!
^I'm actually thinking of getting a real cheap TPU case like that I can mod. My ideal case is a TPU Bumper, maybe the Boxwave Black out without the back part but have the vol and power buttons cut out. I guess it's just not feasible so far... ?
Anyway, Thanks for the input so far guys, keep it coming.
bumper TPU from Amazon

first post here,
I have one of these.
search amazon for bumper cases.
I'm not allowed to post urls.
I like it, I have it on right now. What I have is different from what's
in the pictures. No cutouts for the buttons and the other cutouts are not
as big. The covers of the buttons are pretty sensitive, unlike the covers
for the Boxwave type which I got from Hongkong for 2 bucks.
Check amazon out, they have a lot of cases.
I also have the elago Breathe case, I love them I have two.
I ended up taking my chances on this. I guess it's going to be as close as I get. Thanks everyone, I'll let you know how it is when I get it.

I have the 3 of them
Go for the Rearth Ringke Slim , is THE BEST OF ALL !!!
Hi all, I'm in a similar dilemma.
I've got a choice between these two:
https://www.gearzap.com/media/catalog/product/3/4/34484-2.jpg
and
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HYBRID-SI...lePhonesCasesPouches&var=&hash=item416682f7b6
I know I should pick the Zenus, but would the inside bit that holds my phone scratch the outer bezel? And since the hybrid one has a silicon case THEN a hard outer shell I figured it would be good too. Any ideas?
Thanks!
I use a an SGP Ultra thin. Comfortable case. Considering the size of the phone the case is great. Merges with the Phone. +1 anytime.
I ordered this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160732471512?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649. It has a stand that works in both axis.

Review to come...pics for now.
More pics....
A little about my personal experience with TPU cases. I've personally owned at least 8-10 different TPU cases through the course of ~5 years. They ranged from numerous manufacturers such as: HTC, Incipico, Speck, Belkin, and direct from China.
Review:
- Comes with screen protector. Haven't tried it yet but for $2.99 shipped damn what a great deal!
- Very little flashing on the case, runs up against the best TPU's from any manufacturer.
- Interior has a very soft matte finish.
- For the cut outs I'll rate it 9 out of 10. You judge yourself by the pics.
- Thickness is about middle ground..I've seen thinner and I've seen thicker. Nice balance between protection and thickness.
- Price...nothing can touch it.
- Grip...good. On par with most gloss TPU cases.
- Bling factor?....very low. nothing fancy here just black and clean. This might turn you on or turn you off...it's a preference thing.
- Small camera hole...I hate the cases with large camera openings.
- No stupid tether/wrist strap holes..who the hell uses those things anyway?
Highly Recommended...it's on par with all the brand name +$20 models I've tried.
Updates:
- Included screen protector was totally useless. The edges would not lay flat, my guess is that it was bent in the packaging it came in. I'm not a screen protector guy any way so my heart is not broken.
- Case adds ~3mm to total thickness of the phone. 1.5mm on the raised lip around the bezel and 1.5mm back thickness. Likewise it also adds 3mm to the width of the phone.
FYI...currently sold out At least at the $2.99 price.

Thank you for the excellent review
looks similar to the one i bought, i posted pics here. i not a fan of the gloss black, this one is matte and adds some grip. also has built in buttons rather than a big holes for power and volume. it was $7 plus a couple bucks shipping.

In my experience, gloss tpu is more grippy than matte tpu.
Bought two more Igadgitz cases for the wife.
I've bought several of these tpus and they are on par with any other tpus out there. Gloss ones, anyways.. but 2.99 is amazing
I also have a couple of their silicone cases.. also 2.99 add ons. A nice option if u have a full screen protector like me.

Looking for Best Moto G Cases to Buy in India

Hi All,
I just got my Moto G, and i am now looking at buying a case for it. I am not really favoured towards the official motorolla ones listed in Flipkart.
I am looking for something below Rs. 400. Also it should give me the matte finish intead of the plastic and should be covering all the edges.
I found few online below are the links. Not sure if they are worthy.
all your views will ba appreciated.

I got this
HEY, I bought the Amzer case for moto G. its great man. i have used amzer products earlier too..theyare super durable, fits perfectly & provide protection too
w ww . ebay . in/ itm/ AMZER-PUDDING-TPU-SKIN-CASE-BACK-COVER-CARRY-POUCH-FOR-MOTOROLA-MOTO-G-XT1032-/111249202278?pt=IN_Mobile_Accessories&hash=item19e6f81c66 (remove gaps from link)
This one...it has matt back too
Thanks buddy. It is good. But i m chking if i can get any hard case one before ending up in buying amzer.
I am using the Amzer case too which I ordered from flipkart, I think its the perfect case and it has a nice finish too. (though I think I'll use a very fine sandpaper to make the sides of this cover matte instead of the slippery gloss it is.)
BUt seriously, Amzer is the one you should go for instead of some other cheap ones which cost Rs. 100-150 less than Amzer cover, it provides excellent drop protection and doesnt add as much bulk as you'd expect from a TPU case.

Amzer makes a couple different designs from what I can tell. The 'hybrid' one looks like it would provide drop protection through the two layers, but it's bulky IMO. The other one just appears to be a snap on hard case, not sure it would do much good if you dropped your phone, but would protect it from scratches at least.
Ive ordered a bumper case like this :
h t t p://w w w. ebay . in/itm/New-Stylish-Flexible-Bumper-Cover-Case-Pouch-Frame-For-Motorola-Moto-G-/281313189789?pt=IN_Mobile_Accessories&var&hash=item417f929f9d&_uhb=1
Yet to receive. I dont expect much protection but atleast for times when we keep the phone on table etc...this should be fine I guess.
Had bought a cheap flip cover earlier (not much choice was available back then in india for moto g). And the plastic back of the flip cover broke already...upon removing just twice!

[q]best case/bumper for moto g

I want to buy a protective bumper or case for my moto G any suggestion?
don't waste your money.
I've got a ton of cases and imho the cheap 2 to 4 dollar tpu cases just work. I'm not gonna spend 30 bucks for a logo.
But that's just me in the end its up to you.
My 2¢
my favorite is Amzer® Hybrid Kickstand Case - Black/ Black

This looks really cool. I saw the same thing with no brand name on eBay. Fosmon also selling the same case. I think soon there will be copy of this being sold by Chinese sellers for under 10 bucks and free shipping.
im using the trident aegis in blue on my motog and its very good, fits really well and it has protected my phone from a few drops
A simple tpu case that covers all the buttons and corners, with raised corners around the screen would be fine and will protect enough the phone. I use a simple one transparent with no brand.
Hey there,
I think it would be stupid to open a new thread.
I am also looking for a case but in my case it has to be "water residence". When I do sport (gym or bicycle) and keep it in my pocket its getting wet but on the other hand I wont disclaim the music
So, any suggestions so that I also still can switch tracks
Cheers
md
I am still rocking the original shell, and then use Liquid screen protector for the screen and the glossy side bit
