I had a rooted Gingerbread 2.3.6 stock rom ... I downloaded the kernel and flashed it after mounting /system ... Now my phone constantly reboots ... Its not a boot loop ... The phone starts up scans media files and in an instant reboots.
Cyanogen 10 Alpha 3 (Kernel 3) installed. But I get the error can not connect to the camera. Do you report to resolve the situation.
Its already been known than the camera doesn't work with the 3.0 kernel on JB so we will have to wait until Arco can make it work again.
I installed kernel 2 version. My problem fixed. Thanks.

Hi, each time I installed any stock based rom my phone wont detect/connect to any wifi network. But the weird thing is, if I leave the wifi on and restart my phone, it connects with the wifi network, however when I turn it off and on again, the issue arises. I had tried :
Rom: Ultimate hd, sparta charge, xperia t rom, miui v4
Kernel: ktg 1.52, lupus v8, rush v6
I had never had this problem with jb roms. Please if anybody know the solution, share it with me.Thanks
Make sure you are using the right kernels and installed the right modules in CWM...

Re-flash your ROM may solve your problem. I'm using CM 10 A7, and it's work for me. Make sure you are:
1. Go to recovery
2. Wipe data and cache
3. Wipe system
4. Flash ROM
5. Flash gapps
6. Don't flash other kernel first, just to make sure that WiFi tethering is work
7. If it works, don't flash your modified kernel, probably that make your WiFi tethering doesn't work
8. If it doesn't work, it may hardware failure.

What's your kernel? If you used a custom kernel that not support cm 10 alpha 7 because that diffrent wifi driver on custom kernel.

Hi there,
I got moPROJECT42 V4 Rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2290527
with Fusion v5.5 Kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1926299
on my Device. My problem is that wifi and bluetooth are not working neither with Fv5.5 or F4.5. It worked perfectly with nAa Kernel, but Fusion is much smoother and battery is stronger. Actually Wifi modules should be included.
I Already reflashed Rom & Kernel and rebooted several times. Anyone knows what to do?
Go into Fusion topic, download Fusion modules, install them via CWM Recovery.
No it won't work... Known problem...cm10.1 doesn't work properly with 2.6 kernels...Wi-Fi should work but Bluetooth won't...

I installed them, but still not working. Is there any other solution?
Not unless you change the code in the kernels itself. CM10.1 has new WiFi drivers
