Any tip on how to remove spigen slim armor from nexus 5?

I usually keep the two pieces together, just take it off starting from one of the sides.

No problem. The only issue I've been having with it is that it tends to collect dust on the phone. Along the edges and inside the cutouts. Let me know if you experience the same issue.

I kinda like keeping my phone clean so I wouldn't let dust collect anyways but we'll see what happens. For some reason I don't think it's getting delivered today even though it says it's in transit.
I bought several cases so far and always end up going back to Slim Armor. It adds a bit of bulk but the protection is great. I actually dropped my phone 3 times from about pocket height on ceramic tiles and tarmac and once when my 9mo son smashed it on the marble table. Took the phone out and not a single damage on it. I admire the stealthy look of the black one plus the cut out are very precise. Only downside is the bottom part where the micro USB port sits has a slight gap that do tend to collect dust but I can live with that

My Slim Armor case has been in my city for 5 day's and they won't let me pick it up. Damn FedEx. I ordered a case from Trident after I ordered the Spigen and I'm already getting that one today. Irritating. How long has it taken people ordering this case from Amazon to receive theirs?

Thanks, I use the case but I haven't really dropped it yet (luckily). Was wondering if the protection was really good on it. Of course drops vary and anyone can get unlucky but it's still nice to hear.

I was actually in a rush to get mine because I didn't want to walk around too long without a case so I paid for two day shipping. It is prime eligible though. Most items that are prime eligible even if you don't have prime and choose the 3-5 day shipping it gets there fairly quickly. At least in my experience.

I'm just anxious cause it really looks one a great case and it's ridiculous to have a package sit a couple miles from your house for 5 days. It was sent FedEx smart post, which goes from shipper, to FedEx, then to my post office. Doesn't sound too smart to me.
I laugh at the online reviews of this case, where the reviewer separates the two halves and then struggles to put the case on the phone.
It is a two piece case, but it is made to be used like a one piece case.

This really is a fantastic case! Only complaint I would throw out there is coming from the diztronic tpu case this thing is slippery as hell compared to the phone or the diztronic but I love the looks and seems like this case would for sure withstand a good fall.

Sounds good. I should hopefully have it tomorrow as I seen my post office FINALLY has it. Keep my fingers crossed, especially since I'm disappointed in another case I got today.
Is there a certain way you put the phone in the case? I know you keep the two parts together but how do you start the phone in the case and get it the rest of the way in?
Volume buttons first. Doesn't really matter.

I can say I'm very pleased with the Slim Armor. Install was simple. Very good looking case, got the black one. Very clean looking. I will say that the power button is a tad harder to push, but nothing to give a negative review about, definitely no where near as hard to push as the Zerolemon battery case for my Galaxy Nexus. All in all, very much worth the money and the wait I had to get it.

I cut both buttons from the rest of the case on one side, so now they press a lot easier.

What do you mean you cut them? You cut the rubber button covers completely off so the buttons are exposed?

So, I went on a limb and ordered this:
http://www.handhelditems.com/matte-back-clear-flexible-case-p-201349.html
I would say I hope I don't regret it, but it was $.99 + about $3 for shipping. It hasn't shipped yet, but they provided a tracking number last night.
It's clear, has a cutout for the power button it appears, and I hope it works well. Just worried about it stretching out like the silicone on my current phone did. I'm not that familiar with TPU, so hoping that's not an issue.
Edit: I just got this case. It shipped in about 5 days by ups. It very thin but also makes me unsure if it'll absorb any impact at all. The first thing I noticed I think back is frosted, not completely clear. It's also not curved, but flat all around. I'm curious how well this will fit. The frosted back has a subtle texture to I as well, make it comfortable to hold and not slippery. The power button and all ports are exposed, only the volume buttons are covered and they feel stiff.

The TPU case on my Galaxy S Captivate is still fine after almost 3 years. No stretching whatsoever. I don't take it on/off often though, so that may shorten the life. It is certainly not like the silicone I have seen on other cases (specifically a GS3 Defender case that a friend has) which is very loose and has already been replaced once or even twice.

This is encouraging. Could be a dollar well spent.
It's definitely not a bad purchase for $1. The only thing you need to be aware of with TPU cases like that is they retain heat, which can be really crappy if you're doing some hardcore gaming or have the phone sitting on your dash. As far as protection goes, my requirement is that the case has a lip that comes out a bit from the face of the phone. That way if I drop it face down my screen (hopefully) won't get scratched.
Does anyone know if AT&T stores have any HTC One cases / screen protectors yet.
OP - thanks for the case link. I picked one up also.
Now they gave me $1 store credit. I bought this case and only paid shipping if I decide to spend my 1 on something else.

Agree completely...nothing else interests me.
This case came today, but I won't have time for a day or more to show it off or describe it.
But I did want to let everyone know I isn't completely clear. The back I will frosted clear. This is misleading from their page. We'll see how I looks when I get the phone.

I haven't been using this case much because I preferred my Speck clear case - well, the rubber/silicone trim around the volume buttons and usb port are streatching badly... so I put this $1 tpu case on instead finally. Dropped my phone on the asphalt last night from just below my shoulders. Phone landed on a corner and did a few flips. No damage what-so-ever. Not even a dent on a corner. Also have a Rhino Shield MK II on too, so if there would have been any screen damage, the shield did it's job well too.
I have these on my Nexus 4 and they rock feel and look awesome. Just order them for my HTC one. will report back. Usually about 1 or 2 weeks shipping.

is the power button cut out so we can use the IR blaster?
Look for pictures - in short yes the IR is fine.
It does not cover the whole phone. Back and sides. Top has a small notch for headphones trimmed out and bottom is open.
Most of these type of cases will always be that way. I think the POETIC case apparently had this issue.
How do you design a case and knowing all the specs and you forget about the IR ?

aaaand... back on topic.
Nice case! I'm still hunting down the perfect case; meanwhile I've just ordered a cheap transparent case for about £3.
I'm tempted by the Nilkin, but the fact that it doesn't protect the top and bottom is a bit off-putting.
Something like the double-dip hard case would be great for me, but I'm just not keen on the colours they used.
I rather like the look of the Urban Armor Gear cases though. I just wish they had it in this colour.

The sides of the Nillkin are the smooth rubbery coating like you would find on the back of some of HTC's older phones (ie S710). The back is textured with a pattern, so it isn't the same feeling as the sides. I would say it's definitely less slippery than the phone naked.
anyone already bouthg UAG case from ebay and is original because i still trying find cheap and original case
so if anyone bough original uag from ebay can give pls link
I ordered one, orange, from Amazon. I know it's not exactly eBay but hopefully this will give you some insight.
The case seemed pretty good when I got it but just a bit stiff.
I had the case for about a month and it just so happened that I dropped my phone directly on the corner of the body. The sidewalk wasn't too far away, as the phone fell from my hand, at my side.
The case was scuffed but fine, the phone...not so lucky. My screen has several hairline fractures which I've been living with pretty much. THE CASE CAME DRIED OUT.
Simply put, UAG took it pretty well by giving me a free one in the mail no charge at all. But I mean... my phone
I saved $3, I love the replacement case they sent, I've dropped my damaged phone and the replacement case seems to be well worth full price

I had the opposite experience with my UAG case from Amazon. I got the dark blue one and it has done very well protecting my phone from multiple drops and I also take it on and off quite frequently and have zero cracks or tearing in the case. To each their own I suppose? I always pull off the case at the corners and I pull the side off that is with the volume buttons first so I don't catch the power button on the case. It is the most important buttons as far as I am concerned

I own the black UAG case which looks really nice on a white GS3. The only thing though is that after prolonged use with the case on, I've taken it off and have realized the volume buttons are pushed into the phone and it's hard to press them now without the volume button working or increasing/decreasing the volume continuously without it stopping.
so i exchanged my note 7 today and pre-ordered the V20.

It seems such a sin to put something so bulky on a phone that's been engineered to be light, thin and tough. I'll probably just opt for something that keeps the camera window and screen off of surfaces when laid on their respective sides.

Yeah, mines fits crazy snug and once it gets some hand oil on it glides just as good as the glass.

I picked up the defender yesterday. I was initially impressed, they have really improved the built in screen protector from what I remember. The outer shell is also improved, it doesn't seem as "rubbery" as before...
I think I am going to return it though. It seems just too large and it feels slightly more difficult to unlock with the fingerprint reader.
I will likely just go with the Ole' Bessy, shell holster case and a good screen protector.

Great pictures of both of the phones, specifically the LG v20.
I still miss my note 7, **** we were all spoiled by it haha.
Anywho, I got the LG V20 and have been going through cases left and right trying to decide which one to put on. I stopped on the VRS design with kick stand. However, it is kinda slippery and I do not like that. Additionally, I am still trying to find a screen protector (preferably tempered glass one), but the ones I installed do not adhere to the very bottom and very top. I do not know why, but probably due to slight curvature of the screen.
I have the Poetic Case with the built in screen protector, and it really reminds me of the otter box but like 3 times cheaper . However, the other box seems nicer, but just a bit bigger.
I noticed the screen proctor, has a minor gap when touching the screen. Does the otterbox have that gap as well or it fits almost as nicely as a regular screen protector would?
I have installed a wet application screen protector yesterday, it adhered nicely but I see minor bubbles a little below the center of the screen which is annoying. I am not sure if they will go away or not.
I've heard about the RhinoShield CrashGuard Bumper Cases. Apparently, they can withstand 11ft drops on concrete. Has anyone had any experience with them in the past? Do they hold up? I am deathly afraid of cracking my S8 Plus but also find the idea of covering up my GORGEOUS phone with a case to be stupid. Thoughts?

Mine just shipped today, hopefully it'll arrive by the weekend.
My 2¢
I like idea of a bumper frame, paired up with a clear or matte body skin on the backside.
Can I attest to the extremes of the protection, not even gonna try, but , from previous use on other devices, it should do the job as advertised.
They add a bit more width to the grip of the phone than one might imagine, but, I don't think that will be an issue with this phone, it has a relatively narrow grip as-is.
I'll post when it arrives & will decide whether it becomes my daily driver case (Other two are the OEM Clear Case & OEM Alcantara Case).

^looks like the best bumper for us! Cool
I perorder mines (and one for me wife after she saw the videos she wanted it)

I like the idea of not coving up your phone.
I went caseless back in the day with the plastic phones. But with the new all glass/metal phones its a bit different. The metal gets bend and the glass breaks.

Looks good. Might get it with a skin as well.
Thanks.
Had one on my 6P. Dropped a number of times without any damage to the frame or screen. I will be getting one for my S8+ as well.
As for the power button being stiff...give it a week or so to break in. It gets easier to push.
My RhinoShield bumper arrived today & my 2¢:
Overall,it seems like a half-baked effort.
The sides do not cling to the phone well/gapping.
While I expected the case to add some width to the grip, they could have done a better job contouring the edges, the feel-in hand is akin to the S7 Edge, not good at all.
Buttons are extremely stiff to depress, should not be like this out of the box & require a "breaking-in" period.
For those that are planning on using a TGSP, the case may tighten up a bit,IDK,I don't use anything other than liquid sealers on my displays.
I may cut out the buttons & try using it like that. If it works out OK,I may use it on occasion, but, this case definitely falls in to the "occasional use only" category, I'll stick w/the OEM Samsung Clear hard case as a daily driver.
To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement, too bad Nillkin isn't making bumper cases anymore..........................

My RhinoShield bumper arrived today & my my 2¢:
Overall,it seems like a half-baked effort.
The sides do not cling to the phone well/gapping.
While I expected the case to add some width to the grip, they could have done a better job contouring the edges, the feel-in hand is akin to the S7 Edge, not good at all.
Buttons are extremely stiff to depress, should not be like this out of the box & require a "breaking-in" period.

I'm really disappointed to hear this. I just ordered mine Monday since no one else seems to be making one. I've become fond of a good bumper and a cool skin.

I kind of agree with you. I was super excited for mine to come in, however, i was fairly disappointed when it arrived.
Exact same issues with it as you.
i also got one the other day and the fit is pretty bad, the sides of the bumper dont fit the phone well and for $25 i would have expected a lot better. I ordered a cheap spigen case off amazon for $11 and it fits much better then this does.

I've already boxed mine up,contacted EvoLutive Labs via e-mail & requested a refund.
I stated the reasons pretty much the same as we've experienced, hope to hear back in a day in a day or two.
I've been pleased w/their past efforts, but, this one is a fail. Perhaps those w/the S8 are having a better experience, probably not experiencing the loose fit as we are, chalk that up to the extra height of the S8+.
A tight fit is a challenge here, but,I feel it could have been better.
Forgot to post back.
I got my case a few days ago and been using it. It works for me so far.
The sides of the case does fit a little lose, but the phone doesnt slide around it. So all that is fine, its probably has something to do with the protection it offers.
The buttons are a bit on the hard side to push in.
The back have a nice lip so the camera and everything is lifted up. Same for the front.
The edges on the front are a bit exposed but it would have to be in order to use the phone. But it still seems like it would protect.
The phone feels great in this guard. there arent any sharp corners on the bumper.
I had a thin silicon case that had sharp corners on the ports and it would cut into my hand. This one doesnt do that which is great.
Also funny that my silicon case was suppose to be super thin but yet this bumper makes the phone seems alot thinner then the phone in the silicone case.
I got the black one and a blue on on the way for my wife. I doubt she will use it since i brought her a wallet case before she got her phone.
I'm still waiting on mine. I got an email with a tracking # finally, but it still says pre-shipment. So I guess it won't be showing up this week.

Yea therr shipping is weird.
Normally they email ypu saying your order is fulfilled.
Then a day or 2 later you get a tracking number.
It will say pershipment. Then a day or 2 later it will get pick up.
And then about 2-3days for it to make it to you.
