[Q] MHL Adapter and Custom Rom

Hi Guys, hope you can help me
I've just received the official samsung MHL adapter for the galaxy S2 but unfortunately it isn't working for me.
I'm running Cyanogen 7 on my rooted galaxy s2 which I think is the problem. Can anybody advise me of any custom roms that are 'good' and support the MHL function? if not what should i do? I presume I can go back to official samsung rom but can somebody confirm this for me? If you can provide a download link too that would be great.
Many thanks guys
Robbie
MHL doesn't work on CM7 and I know it isn't on their priority list to fix. I've tried most ROMs and there's not a lot in it, different people will swear that different ROMs are tons better than others. If you don't know what you're looking for or where to start go with Villain ROM for now, then explore to see of something else works better for you. MHL will run on any other ROM, official or custom (except maybe MIUI, someone will have to clarify).

MHL will work on custom ROMs that are based on stock. As of now, none of the AOSP based ROMs supports mhl. That includes MIUI as well as CM7

It depends on the kernel I think.

or any news as to why they don't support them?
any and all input is appreciated thanx m8s
BTW... the rom I run now does support MHL and BT mouse but its 4.1.2 based

seems like no one cares that no 4.2.2 roms support HDMI MHL or bluetooth mouse
AOKP is at milestone and not working still
because I have tried all 4.2.2 roms and none work
and only about half of 4.1.2 roms support BT mouse
and most 4.0.3 or 4.0.4s support mouse but no back button on right click
me <- nuts trying every single one lol

I would like to know as well. I tried searching Google, the CM wiki, and the official CM10.1 forum on here for any mention of MHL or HDMI and couldn't find any thing on this.

No success and poor progress for this.
Just decide for yourself. If HDMI is perennial important for you, then Jellybean is not an option.
Like for myself, its very rarely I used that port/feature on my Arc. So its ok if its not working at all in exchange of Jellybean based ROM and all its benefits.

Aosp roms and tv mirroring.

As I understand it, Aosp roms do jot support mhl.
What are other ways to mirror my Note 2's screen to my TV?
I looked into mircast using netgears push 2 TV device but I am not sure if our Aosp roms support wifi display (widi).
What do you Aosp users use to mirror your Note 2 to your TV?

I figured that much. Are there any other ways of mirroring Aosp roms? Maybe through WiDi?
