please help
you have to supply more data to be able to help you.
the first thing is that you have to do to know your RUU HOX Original is in your folder of android in the C: directory
typing this:
c:/android/fastboot getvar version-main or
c:/android/fastboot getvar all
and look what kind of version you have...

Need RUU for 3.14.111.28

Hello,
I want to get back to stock ROM for sending the phone to warranty.
A few lines about my problem....
A few months ago, I rooted the device. A few weeks after, it got the Airplane Mode issue. I kept looking over the internet for a solution ever since it happened. I installed a few custom ROMs to see if the problem persists and it did...it worked 1-2 days with no problem but after that the same issue showed up. As I had another ROM than the original one, I could not send it to warranty.
Now, I keep looking for the stock rom, I do not seem to find any Nandroid for 3.14.111.28, cid: T-MOB101.
I found a nandroid backup for 3.14.111.27 but it does show blank IMEI, IMEI SV and Baseband.
Anyway, I hope you guys can help me.
Thanks.

If you want to run a custom rom you don't have to install a nandroid backup ! Go straight for a custom one.....saves time

Custom ROMs issue after reverting back to Stock Sense

Hi. So I went back to stock a few days ago in the hopes of fixing a dead zone in the middle of my screen(found out it was a hardware issue after some digging in the forums)and the only backup I found for my One X came with Android 4.0.4 and the old Sense. Everything works fine, except the fact that I can neither install custom ROMs nor receive OTAs to at least get Sense 5. I tried installing both M9 and M7 versions of CM11 (was running M7 perfectly fine before i needed to revert to stock), however the installation aborts in both cases. I got the nandroid backup from the original thread on the forums(CID is HTC__032). Would really appreciate if someone could help me out.

[Q] H3G HBOOT 1.72 Android 4.2.2 looking for backup or RUU

Hi All,
I have had several android phones and I never had any problem with rooting, unlocking s-off, etc.
I received my One X only 3 days ago and is already proving to be a really hard phone to modify.
Every attempt to root it failed miserably. To date I managed only to unlock it (via htcdev) and to flash clockworkmod, which helps a lot.
And I have done my first big mistake! I have flashed a rom which failed without taking a CWM backup of my original ROM as I thought I could get it anywhere. I was so WRONG!
The flash failed and I ended up with a soft bricked phone. Now I managed to restore a stock backup for a CID which isn't H3G__001 and it works, but cannot update the firmware and so on.
So I am looking for the original RUU or backup for my phone.
CID: H3G__001
HBOOT 1.72
Android 4.2.2
Could anyone help? I searched everywhere and there are only old RUU for H3G that failed to restore my phone with a wrong bootloader error. I believe this is because I have HBOOT 1.72
So to summarize I am looking for either a CWM backup or RUU for my H3G__001 CID with HBOOT 1.72
A bonus would be to understand also how to root and s-off.
Thank you in advance.

give the result from fastboot getvar version-main and then search for the nand backup with this numbers for HOX, and no RUU for this high hboot
I did that and I could not find the backup version for my phone. Only older versions that do not work because of the bootloader difference.
Is there a process to follow to request officially for the correct RUU? I phoned HTC asking for the RUU for my phone but they said that to reflash the original ROM I have to send it in and pay their charge because it has been "relocked".
Where do the RUU we see online come from if not HTC?
