What are The Tweaks Your Using.? (Speed, Performance, Data ) - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Hello:
Any tweaks out there!!??

I would also like to know tweaks to have Dolphin play nice with flash, and other performance or battery tweaks.
I turned on the missing s pen notification
the answer call with home button option
the hang up call with power button
52gb drop box offer from Samsung
i have google+ locations enabled for my whole family, so i can keep track of them,
Google device manager accounts for all family on their phones and tablets with location services on and remote wipe/lock
Not tweaks but they are very useful

There are tweaks/mods literally all over the forums. They're not hard to find...
Anyhoo, between tweaks built into the ROM I'm using (Echoe), about a dozen Xposed modules, and my own 'adjustments' to things, I've probably got a good 250-300 'tweaks' I use. Really though, just read through the forums and look at the features in custom ROMs and you can find pretty much whatever you went without much difficulty.

Anyone got any recommendations for a good 3G Hotspot app? Don't care if it requires the tethering plan from the carrier or not, since work pays for it anyway.
Any clue if this one has the low incall volume that the other aosp Roms seem to all have? I love a nice clean gb that has been the only thing holding me back from making them my dd

The WiFi Tether app listed there works for me once I apply the settings listed in the OP. I'm on unbloated gingersense though, you may not need those settings for it to work. I'd try it with the default settings first (those worked for me when I ran CM7) and tweak from there. You may have play around with it a bit.

Is there a program like CPU Sleeper but for 4G DATA instead?

Hey,
Just installed CPU Sleeper to kill off my second core when the screen is off.
Is there another program that will kill data connection when the screen is off, and only turn it on when i turn on my screen?
Would save ALOT of battery I imagine!
In AOKP, there is an option to switch to 2G when the screen is off. This works well, but the only drawback in my opinion is that it is a little slow to return to 4G.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=739530
This does what aokp does but as a stand alone app. Read op instructors install the apk or flash the zip doesn't matter. When screen off, you can opt to go to 2g and with a ton of options like not down shift if network is being used (phone call, downloading a big app).
On top of that you can choose to re enable 4G with a notification message manually as well as automatically. as sometimes when you screen on your phone only to check text or gtalk, aokp would swap back to 4G immediately and back to 2G when the screen goes off, killing a lot of battery in the process actually.
This app is seriously badass.

Wifi Calling widget or app?

Anyone know of any handy apps that can toggle wifi calling on/off? i used to have one on my sensation(stock) and was handy because i didn't need to go through my options as i do now.

Battery life is much more dependent on the kernel used as opposed to the ROM when it comes to modified stock roms. I would assume using the same kernel would lead to similar battery life - that's been my experience anyway.

I don't necessarily recommend any kernel as it all depends on what you are after out of your phone, but lately I've had plain ole UVBMD1 unaltered stock kernel actually. No complaints given how I use it/what I need.

What is popupuireceiver?

Well what is it and why is it running for going on 38 minutes now of cpu usage. Major battery drain. Already searched and can't find definitive answers.
A) what does it do?
B) safe to freeze?
This is one of my top battery drainers and is chewing through my 6200mah battery. Also causing battery drain is a process or whatever called
ZEROWAKELAG. This one wont let my phone sleep. Amd I found lots of info on that one. But Is there a way to remove or disable\freeze it?
Sent from my SGH-T889 using Tapatalk 2
The zero wakelag is exactly that. It is a feature of custom ROM that stops that stupid 2-3 lag when you hit power. I'm assuming you're on Tweaked so go to tsm parts, miscellaneous and uncheck zero wake lag.
For popup try clearing caches and fixing permission. You can also wipe data for popup ui.

It's not an option on that one, but may have been in the aims set up. Actually I think Tweaked is the only toggle option for it. I'm not sure what pop up ui dots

My MIUI experience. Pros/Cons

Well, I brought myself to removing my CM10.2 and trying the MIUI ROM. It was a very slick, very smooth ROM. I overall enjoyed it. But with it being a ROM of course it had a few minor bugs. And I did have a few dislikes. So I'm gonna list a few things I personally noticed about it. Fell free to post your thoughts and any resolutions to anything I'm gonna lay out.
PROS:
-a smooth, soft feeling touch that was full of color and a very nice setup. The was miui was set up in settings for example was on of a kind. I was not disappointed. The theme app that was there gave me full control of changing the status bar, lock screen, home screen, etc. You have full control of customization. WiFi also seemed to work just fine.
CONS:
- Sadly, my LTE didn't appear to work. I tried adjusting my setting to fix it. No avail and that kinda was frustrating. But with WiFi working it didn't pose to much of a issue. I also experienced to apps for my gallery, and I was unable to delete it because it was a system app. Some of the themes I downloaded froze my phone, causing me to remove my battery and restart my phone. I wasn't bothered by it to much, I'm rather used to having to do that with previous phone.
Over all if you like a fresh and fast ROM you will love MIUI. But with these few issues I went back to cm. As I need my LTE cause my phone is also a work phone and I need the fastest internet I can get. So feel free to post your thoughts on MIUI and any fixes. Because I would like to switch back and continue using MIUI.

LTE works you just have to select it in settings when you first flash the rom because it doesn't default on. Reason there are 2 galleries is because MIUI has its own gallery and since we have to use 4.2 camera it comes with its only gallery also hide one in a folder if you dont like one. And theme issue I've never experienced this

I love the visual development compared to all other ROM.
Looks great.. but I'm still in love with AOSP.
Right out of the box, I think MIUI looks a lot like ios . Maybe too much.
It is a great ROM though, and very user-friendly.
Could I see a screen shot of the phone? Keypad, in call. These are things people over look, but this is our phone is it not? For most if not everyone on here, the only phone they use.
