Dears,
I am running a Samsung GT-N7105 with CyanoMod 10.2.0-RC1-t0lte
Working very well.
I have updated it to cm-11-20140127-NIGHTLY (4.2.2) using two different possibilities:
- cmupdater
- Rom Manager
On both case, after the first reboot, there is no Sim card unlock popup ....
When I am going to Status, I read this:
Network: Unknown
Signal Strength: 2147483647 dBm 255 asu
Mobile Network Type: Unknown
Service status: Out of service
Mobile network state: Disconnected
IMEI: Unknown
The APNs are completely empty ... There is nothing there ...
And link to my provider (sonera Finland) I don't know what to fill ... And how to fill it.
SELinux is on "Enforcing"
What can I do ?
Thx
ps: on my attachement file, this part is missing for my phone settings.

Flash back CM 10.2 and upgrade CWM recovery to latest version before flashing CM11.

Hi,
I had an OTA update from 4.2.2 to 4.3 and some days after that, when I was using google maps while on roaming network, my phone stopped getting signal from carrier. Since then, I have followed many posts on xda and did these things using NRT (Nexus Root Toolkit):-
1. Unlock
2. Flash + Unroot
But, after doing all these, my phone still does not get the signal. The current problem (I'm not a very technical person):-
1. About Phone --> Status (copying only those properties which might be relevant):-
Network: Unknown
Signal strenght: 0 dBm 99asu
Mobile network type: UNKNOWN:0
Service state: Out of service or Radio Off (this keeps on toggling every few seconds)
IMEI: UNKNOWN
IMEI SV: UNKNOWN
Serial Number: <some number>
2. Phone info available in *#*#4636#*#*:-
Set preferred network type: Unknown
Turn On Radio or Turn Off Radio (This keeps toggling every few seconds)
Actually, after reading so many posts on xda, I can conclude that the efs partition is lost. If I'm goig in the right direction to pin point the problem, please let me know where I can download EFS and change it to point it to my Phone's IMEI.
Will the above step solve this problem ?
Any help is much appreciated.

If you have a Nandroid Backup, just restore it. Ur signal will be back.
If ur EFS is gone, U'll have to do one more step. This thread might help you. I had the same problem (IMEI lost) and fixed my phone by doing this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=47045295&postcount=6

Actually, I don't have a Nandroid backup.
And, the steps mentioned in the link you provided also do Not tell about how to fix an unknown IMEI
PS: I dont have a generic IMEI now. My IMEI as seen from *#06# is empty. *#06# shows IMEI (but no IMEI number next to it) and then an OK button.
After first rooting my Samsung S4 mini GT-I9195 and installing first the CM 11 found here
http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=serranoltexx
and then trying again with carbons ROnm here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2642488
I loads and boots fine without error however I have no mobile signal
If I search for networks in settings it simply gives a message of 'error while searching for networks'
Is there anything I can do?
I really need a stock rom to revert too as I did not take a backup being a brand new phone
I am not certain of the phones country of origin.

Make sure you have activated the sim cards, they are deactivated by default.
Thank you but I haven't changed sim cards and it was working before I flashed to the new rom.
It also wouldn't likely cause the error im seeing.
I suspect its a permission issue because i notice when I try to update the APN it does not save.
eitherway I really need a stock ROM to get my phone back working
can anyone point me in the right direction>?
sometimes after having a tinker about it prompts me on startup "new sim card added" restart to activate.
But after restarting i just get the exact same message = again I suspect a permissions issue.

NEVER SHOW YOUR IMEI !!!!!!!!!!!
Hi,
I just was given a Note 2. The problem with it is that it doesn't detect the sim card (even though one is inserted). It's a GT-N7105 and apparently has been unlocked to work with T-mobile.
An IMEI number is listed when I go to about phone >status. Here is what it says on the "status" page
Network: Unknown
Signl strength: -105 dBm 4asu
Mobile Network type: Unknown
Service State: out of service
My phone number: unknown
What have I done is hard factory reset the device, rooted it, installed a new version of Bliss Rom but that hasn't fixed it. What should I do next?
Back story:
Got used unlocked rooted Galaxy Nexus Toro from friend
Wiped
Tried updating to newer Cyanogen Mod - Failed
Found out b/c old recovery version
Updated Recovery to TWRP v2.8.7.0
Flashed CM 11-20140913-NIGHTLY-toro AV:4.4.4
Flashed Gapps from OpenGapps Aroma
connected to wifi and completely configured
The Problem:
After I left wifi coverage I realized I had no mobile data
can make calls but no internet or mms
No LTE icon but white bars do show signal
when i drop down the quick access menu the bars are orange
under settings>about phone> status
Network: Verizon Wireless
Signal strength: -93dBm 2asu
Mobile Network type: CDMA eHRPD
Service state: in service
Roaming: not roaming
Mobile Network state: Disconnected
under testing menu> Phone information
Signal strength: -93dBm 2asu
Neighboring CID: unknown
GSM service: In service
GPRS service: Disconnected
Network Type: 1xRTT
Radio Resets: 0
Data attempts: 0
Data successes: 0
Preferred network type: LTE/GSM/CDMA auto (PRL)
Things tried:
Set APN manually
Reset APN to default
Made sure data is enabled
Dialed *228
Went to Verizon and got new SIM installed/activated
At this point I have no ideas. I would really preffer to not flash my phone seeing as I have it completely set up how I like it, also from what I've read that likely won't help. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I recently bought a second hand smartphone Galaxy S4 GT-9505 which according to IMEI info was first delivered on 2013 r. and uses a Qualcom Snapdragon 600 APQ 8064T chipset and is powered by a 4.2 Jelly Bean android version. I use a French Orange SIM card that works normally on other phones.
I installed the recommended version of LineageOS for this device.
The installation went smoothly and the system boots normally. Nevertheless, after booting I can see a barred SIM card icon on top of the screen.
In the Mobile network settings only one entry is available, i. e. :
- Data roaming is greyed and not accessible
- Preferred Network type is greyed and not accessible
- Connected line identification is accessible
- Access Point Names is greyed and not accessible
- Network Operators is greyed and not accessible
Finding a tuto dealing with this kind of issue, I phoned *#*#4636#*#* . Then I could go to Phone info menu and there I could see this :
IMEI : my imei
Phone number : unknown
Current Network :
Signal strenght :
Voice Service:
Data Service: Disconnected
Voice Network Type: Unknown
Data Network Type: Unknown
Voice Call Status:
Roaming:
Set Preferred Network Type: here is a dropdown list. According to the tuto I tried every value but all of them failed to revive anything.
Is this a known issue and what can I do ?
Same can't find any info. I am using a oneplus T6
