[Q] ics beta not booting

hi guys
i downgrad my xperia play from 4.0.2.A.0.62 to 4.0.2.A.0.42
after i flashed the img files i rebooted my device
after the sony name comes to screen i saw a black screen
i tried many other ways but they didnt help
can anyon one introduce me how to install that ics beta?
(i used quick image and fast boot with 4.0.2.A.0.42 and 4.0.2.A.0.62 but non of them work)
plz some one help i wana install a custom rom and it needs the base band and .. from the ics beta to install it

I have another question
Can I install darkforest rom after installing this ics Rom?

If they use the same kernel yep u can....don't forget to wipe and factory reset

I don't know what should I check

[HELP] Baseband Version / IMEI UNKNOWN

hello
i have Xperia ion suddenly no service & baseband version / IMEI UNKNOWN
EDIT: and after trying to fix like crazy the phone become fully dead was using stock JB relocked BL (no led)
please help?

Just do this simple task and you get your phone back, If you have faith just do what I have about to ,I had thesame problem but now am free ,N01..get flashtool.N02...donwload this ftf SO-03D_6.0.A.5.12_Docomo on this site http : / / w w w . unibytes . com / yhRG . am9th - Lqw - Us4P3UgBB just type the url to your browser without space or google it after that flash it with flashtool ,after that start your phone and wait for just 30 seconds to 1 minutes and you get your network back. You may now flash any stock rom of your choice either 200,211 or 96 but make sure you uncheck baseband and fota if you want to flash those ones I mean the 211,200,96... If help u can decide to buy me shoe or beer

Help bro, after flashing CM11 team canjica 4.4.4 i have no internet connection
and then i go back to stock rom without doing anything on cwm
still no internet connection
so i flash to GingerBread , JB XXMB4, and to XXNA1
still no internet connection, and i was realized that my baseband is gone and become xxx
would anyone give me a tutor how to fix it?

NB: my ace ii is original , not ace ii made in hongkong ..... one year using this phone, try every custom rom works fine for me, until this accident ._.

Use 3-Parted GB FW and then the newest JB FW accroing to your phone (8160 or 8160P)

Are you sure that you dont have a hongkong ace 2? Was your baseband ZSxxx?

[Q] LS980ZVC on d802 - Mobile networks grayed out ???

Okay .. I screwed up .. here are the details ..
bought an lg g2 from ebay india assuming its d802 .. my first android ever ..
and thankfully ... it is labeled as d802 on the back of the device .. lil did i know my excitement was abt to end there ..
turns out its running ls980zvc .. the OS lists the model as - ls980
being a first timer .. i could only figure out the following details :
1. the build is KOT49I.LS980ZVC (ANDROID VERSION 4.4.2)
2.product: g2_open_cn
3. device is not rooted
4. revision and recompile - some chinese name i couldnt figure
5. baseband - M8974A-AAAANAZM-2.0.20046
the device was workin fine with voice calls... but there was no apn settins avlbl .. or system update settings avlbl ..
and this morning .. in order to get the data work ... i screwed up by selecting the cdma mode .. after which the mobile networks settings got grayed out ...
how should i proceed further?

thanks for the reply .. i got the data to work by using radio switcher and Tweakker from the playstore ..
u say stock d802? does that mean i have a d802? (its labeled as d802 on the back) .. anyway .. im in india .. going back to d802 stock .. should be fine? no sim locking again?
ps. why would someone put ls980zvc firmware on a d802 and sell it in ebay?

I had the exact same issue, its really a LS980 but was sold as a d802 as that model is what LG sells in India (Basically some one kinda cheated you). I have PMed you though.

can you explain some details on how you fixed it?

I am having the same problem, and I already tried going back to stock, but I think my hardware is just to old to handle the downloads, it just keeps failing during installation.
Being a complete amateur doing this kind of thing, I could sure use some tips on how you resolved your mobile data issues.

if the downloads are failing .. try updating the google playstore app .. to build 4.9 atleast .. the latest build 5.1 is yet to reach people ...

[Q] I'm a dumb noob and in need of a few answers

1st. Just rooted and installed cm11 my htc desire 816 a5_ul single sim version in malaysia, where can i can the stock firmware? which version? india, australia or europe? had not much idea of what i was doing.... so i didn't backup the damn stock rom out from my phone before i flash cm11, now im searching everywhere for my phone's stock rom
2nd. is it becuz of the google camera app orignally designed for nexus devices, thats why we cant change the photo save location?
3rd did anyone else using cm11 on desire 816 facing any battery drain? battery life is kinda bad compared to sense, had to underclock it for powersave

Just follow some link has those stock backup… or Ruu that you can flash into stock rom….. Like this… first check if is the same variant to ur phone

aside from some of the bloatware i can see or not see that wasn't from my region, it worked perfectly fine~
