I checked all the forums and other treaths and did everything what they say but got nothing.
problem is my wave2 8530 cannot recognize by WINDOWS7.
1. Updated all the drivers, kies, USB, etc.
by the way on the bootloader mod(Balckscreen), windows7 still not recognisizing my device...
How can I connect yo wave 2 with USB to use Multiloader. Becouse of these reasons, multiloader cannot search and find PORT...

Battery is charged, I can use the phone, but even the phone is on or not my wave 2 cannot connect to the PC, KİES and anything...
Menu-settings-onnections-usb/kies/etc set everything but notting happened.
I want to flash orginal ROM again
but when I set the device on bootloader mode, windows 7 not recognize....

Check if phone is charging when connected and also check the usb port,cable
try this one
switch off tk file explorer :
1) open keypad
2) type *#197328640#
3) open "[6] Common" by pressing on 6 on the displayed keypad.
4) open "[3] USB Configuration" by pressing 3.
5) NOW WAIT , and check for the star mark in front of the two options.
If its next to OFF then you dont need to do anything else, just close everything.
If its next to on then press 2 to turn it off.
It will show this after pressing 2 >>---> " [1]TkFilexplorer - ON [] "
Now close everything and you are done !
pls also try very very carefully
if you dont understand completely - you shoudnt do it
go to control panel - hardware and sound - device manager
expand the view of the usb - universal serial bus
make sure that that you have the drivers to your usb devices
delete all the usb from there
disconnect all usb devices
restart your pc and let windows reinstall all your usb components
and then retry to connect your cell

This is weird my note one always pops up with a windows folder and I just drop my new rom in there but my new I317 when I connect it to the computer is doesnt show up. It will charge the device but does let me get into it so I can drop my rom in there and install any ideas? I did a factory reset and I have all the drivers installed.

nope! both should be on MODEM

Its did work when I changed them both to pda....I also stopped windows from searching for update for driver....You can then go to device manager see the error on usb com ports and direct which drivers to install from there...When I swtich to modem tho I have to do the drivers thing again.
I remember seeing a post to stop windows from installing thier own drivers just cannot seem where to find it
I installed Busybox Free on my phone (using the simple installer) and it allows my phone to connect to the PC just fine. I also have downloaded Samsung's drivers to my PC.
This is a comprehensive guide for troubleshooting the 'MTP Driver Installation Failed' problem on Windows 7
specifically for the GT-I9300, but also applies to other phones (except the part about Samsung and Kies).
This guide combines all the tips and tricks found around the web that have had results in resolving this issue.
If at any point you're fed up with the problem, keep in mind that there are free apps like USB Mass Storage Enabler
that enable UMS mode on your phone instead of MTP mode.
First of all try removing the battery for 3 minutes and restarting the phone and trying then (if you haven't already).
Ok lets start.
For troubleshooting purposes,
1. Remove your Sim and Memory Card.
2. Always use the USB ports at the BACK panel of the PC
rather than the front panel and the original USB cable provided by your manufacturer.
3. Download and install the latest version of Samsung Kies
and make sure to check the 'install USB driver' at the end.
Try the following to pinpoint the source of the issue:
1. Ensure that you have USB Debugging switched off. If it is on,
switch it off, reboot your phone and try to reconnect.
2. Try a different USB port at the back panel of your PC.
3. Try a different USB cable.
4. Uninstall Kies and USB Drivers. Open up USBDeview
(in the SGS Toolkit or from the web) and uninstall all drivers that say
'Samsung' or 'GT-I9300'.
Reboot and reinstall Kies and USB Drivers and try to reconnect.

Ok so none of this worked for you. Lets try finding the source of the problem i.e. either your phone or windows.
- Make a nandroid backup of your current apps/settings. Copy this backup,
megawipe and your Nandroid backup of your STOCK ROM to an external SD card.
Boot into recovery and flash megawipe. DO NOT reboot the phone. Restore the stock
ROM from your external SD Card. Do a data wipe/factory reset, wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache. Reboot and plug in the phone to see if it works.

If it works, then it's a problem with your ROM or its settings.
If it doesn't, it's most likely a Windows issue as we've excluded everything else that it could be.

- Boot into CWM and flash megawipe. Flash your preferred ROM/gapps from scratch as per the developer's
instructions. DO NOT flash backups. As soon as you're past the welcome settings pages, connect the
USB cable and see if it works.
If it doesn't then your ROM has a problem with MTP mode and you need to contact your ROM developer about it.
If it does, then it's a problem with your settings. Use the stock nandroid from here on:

1. Make sure that you have USB Debugging Disabled.
2. If you use apps like Gemini App Manager or System Tuner that disable apps on certain events,
make sure you didn't disable anything related to USB connectivity.
3. Try to restore system apps like media storage or anything else that might have been
necessary for your phone to work correctly.
3. Start from scratch. Install programs and settings one by one and figure out when
it no longer connects to your pc to find the culprit.
It's Windows!
1. Download and extract the latest MTP Driver from here:

With your phone connected, go to Control Panel>Device Manager>Portable Devices
Double click the MTP Driver and go to the Driver tab. Click 'Update Driver'. Now click
'Browse my computer for driver software'>Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer>Have Disk
and browse to the folder you extracted the drivers to. Hit OK>Next.
See if it installs
2. Open Start>Run>Regedit and browse to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\
Browse to these two folders and delete the registry keys called 'UpperFilters' and 'LowerFilters':

{EEC5AD98-8080-425F-922A-DABF3DE3F69A}
Reboot your system and try to reconnect.
If the keys don't exist, create them and delete them:
-Right click>New>MultiStringValue>UpperFilters
-Double click the key and enter any random value
-Connect your phone now and let the install fail
-Disconnect the phone and delete the key you created
-Reconnect the phone
2. Uninstall Kies and drivers with USBDeview. Install the MTP Driver from here, reboot and try to reconnect:

3. Install the latest Windows Media Player from Microsoft. If you don't like it, you can always remove it when you're done. Reboot after install and connect your phone to see if it worked.
4. Try an OLDER version of the Samsung USB drivers from below. Uninstall all the current drivers with usbdeview and then install these. If you know of a date when your usb connected just fine, use a driver closer to that date:

5. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE NO VIRUSES OR TROJANS ON YOUR SYSTEM AS THIS CAN
COMPROMISE SECURITY!
Open Start>Run>cmd and type this into the command prompt:
net localgroup Administrators "local service" /add
Reboot, and reconnect your device and see if it works.
5. Do a clean install of windows, install the motherboard and video card drivers, then install Kies and USB Drivers. See if the phone connects.
If not, update using Windows update and try again. Don't install any other programs
until this step is complete.
Thats the end of the guide. If you've tried all of these steps and failed, then it's a good idea
to just give up and use one of the many alternatives.
Use UMS Enabler or simply connect your sd card to your pc directly rather than from the phone.
You can even do wireless transfers using ES-File Explorer or Samba filesharing.

None of those worked to me. i tried using drivecleanup, reinstalling wmp, installing kies, debug mode, removing upperfilters but everytime went back to the same error. What worked to me was:
- download file from that post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=37042201&postcount=28;
- extract files from that package to some folder (;
- delete all wpdmtp* from \windows\system32;
- plug phone (it will give an error installing drivers);
- go to control panel -> system -> device manager;
- right click on mtp and poitn to the folder of extracted files;
after that, windows was able to install mtp properly.

I've been wary to flash the ROM of my Nexus 7, as it actually boots into the normal OS and does everything fine.
The basic problem is that I can't transfer anything to and from the device over USB. USB debugging is on and I have tried PTP and MTP.
One of the solutions I have been looking at is bad drivers on Windows' part, and that is where I am currently blocked. If USB debugging is off, Windows refuses to acknowledge my tablet's existence. If debugging is on, some drivers from Microsoft automatically install and the tablet is labeled as "unknown device".
My USB controller is up to date with the correct drivers provided by ASUS for my motherboard (ASUS Z87-A). I recently re-installed Windows 7 to put it on a larger SSD, and with this same motherboard, it now does not detect correctly.
If I try to uninstall the "unkown device" it simply disappears until I unplug and replug in the tablet. If I try to manually direct it to the correct drivers, it tells me that the USB drivers are incompatible with my device. The USB drivers are the ones downloaded directly from Google.
I can still access the fastloader.

When you first got the device, did you go straight into fastboot without booting it and plugging it in while in Android? Does that question even make sense?

That would have been roughly a year ago. I believe I did boot straight into the OS.

To the first quick-fix, the ADB drivers are installed, but they are not the drivers that are utilized when the Nexus 7 is plugged in. Like I said, it instantly installs some generic Microsoft drivers, and refuses to recognize the ABD drivers are compatible for the device.
As such I can't even begin with option 2.

With the device plugged in, go into device manager and find the device, uninstall that device, and make sure you check the box to uninstall the drivers from the system, then leaving the N7 plugged in to the PC, reboot the N7, as it comes up it should redetect, it's important to leave the device plugged in while it is rebooting.

There is no check box to uninstall the drivers: imgur.com/PhL4UNt
Where "unknown device" is my N7. Still, I tried rebooting it while leaving it plugged in, and it would not recognize correctly.

You may want to make sure you are not using a hub or USB 3.0 port for this btw.
Put the device into in MTP mode with debugging on, unplug the device, then download these, unzip them somewhere, right click on the unknown device associated with your Nexux 7, click Update driver software, click "Browse my computer", navigate to where you saved the unzipped contents, and select usb_driver folder, let it do its thing, reboot your PC. Plug the device back in, preferably into a different USB port then what you have been using, it should then show up as a Google ADB driver (or similar), you can test it with the command: adb devices see if that works, if not, leave the device plugged in, and reboot the device.
Let me know if that works or not, and I will continue in a new post.

Ok, plugged directly into a USB 2.0 port at the back of my motherboard. Recognized as Unknown Device when plugged in, disappears completely when unplugged.
So, here's exactly what I did: Plugged in device -> clicked on "Update Driver software" -> unplugged device -> Browse my computer for driver software -> directed to correct location -> replies: "The best driver software for your device is already installed", and it is not using the ADB drivers.
Going into "Driver Details" tells me that there are no drivers that have been installed.

Don't unplug the device, do like this, put it in MTP/debug on, leave it plugged in, "Update Driver software" -> Browse my computer for driver software -> direct to correct location.
I know my method works, I've done it to that laptop, my htpc, and my gaming rig flawlessly.
You may have to use a tool to remove all instances of those drivers and reboot, Wugs toolkit has the app, let me see if I can find the direct download for the app or you can just download and install Wugs Toolkit.
Here is the app, but I'd still recommend you install Wugs NRT, as the kit has a walk-through telling you which device IDs to look for to remove. Here is the actual tool wugs uses: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html, but again, unless you know which ones to remove, you're better off using Wugs tool kit device drivers walkthrough built into NRT.

Well, NRT is precisely where I started this whole thing.
Here is a picture detailing where the Nexus 7 is connected, and for reference, ALL the USB ports on my case, be it at the front or from the motherboard, are controlled by a hub: imgur.com/pP5ZbMv
Every other device's location is described as "Location 0" except for the Nexus 7 when it's connected.
Unfortunately at this point I'm probably just going to use Dropbox to transfer files when I need to.

I guess something is trashed in your system, maybe using a previous motherboard driver would work, dunno, sorry it didn't work out.

No problem, maybe you'll work on it again and you'll figure it out. Also, you can use airdroid for transfer of files, I hear it works really well.
USB will not function with my OnePlus 3, I've loaded drivers and still no avail.

As regards the attaching of files, you have to have a minimum number of posts to be able to do that.
As regards the USB, be a little more specific like what you are trying to do, which ROM you are running, whether you are rooted, what happens when you connect the phone to PC etc which will enable the members to help you.
There could be several reasons for this, but lets start with the basics.
Have you tried a different cable?
Have you selected File Transfer (MTP) from usb options?

I get a windows sound like its connecting then in the bottom right where the time is next to that is a root sign then I get a pop up saying exactly.....The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize it. Recommendation.. Try reconnecting the device. If Windows still does not recognize it, your device may not be working properly. When I go to the Device Manager/Control Panel it doesnt do anything. I've tried to add adb to the path but maybe added it to wrong path now it won't come on. If there is a work around maybe to re-add to right path. Device Manager was fine before I added adb and added path as per internet search. Device Manager before would say something like error 39. I've tried MTP that doesn't get it to open up either.

I cant even root for the life of me now, Im on 8.0, I'm trying to just root the phone and to start the computer has to recognize it I understand but it won't, with my Oneplus 2 was fine,(I'm thinking maybe phone doesnt have the drivers built in to the file system, you know when you plug in and turn on MTP it shows the drivers app for Windows?) the only thing it errors plugging in.

On my son's pc running windows 10, I didn't have any issues connecting my OP3 to it and viewing files, nor did I have to install any drivers, same for Windows 7.
Hook phone to pc via usb cable.
Pull down notification bar and select "File Transfer" from usb options or go to Settings and search USB and select USB Preferences > File Transfer.
Browse phone from Window's file manager.
If still having issues, you can try and install Oneplus USB drivers, reboot pc and see if the phone can be recognized.

For some reason it's working now don't know what the problem was or even if it was something I did. Either way it's fixed.

If you are running Win 10, you will have to disable driver signing before the correct drivers are installed. May be that was your issue.
