Which ROM is the best? - Nexus 7 (2013) Q&A

Hi,
We have a number of very good ROMs here, thanks to hard working developers. As of now which one is the best in terms of stability and aesthetics?

The one you choose.
And: start to read the XDA rules please. Then you'll see that best rom/kernel/etc questions are against the xda policies.

Sorry, if I have offended or crossed any rules

There is no such thing as "best rom", it depends on users opinions, needs and experience. The best way to find out what suits you better is to try them by yourself.

You didn't see the post just a few down from this one?
Because of the controversy and arguments they inevitably generate, "best ROM" threads are prohibited on XDA. To determine which is best for yourself, read user feedback and better yet, try a few ROMs for yourself. Thread closed.

Best kernel for stock rom?

These discussions are forbidden on XDA, because there is no best.
1/ Other developers dont want to see someone saying their work is not as good as someone elses.
2/ Whats best for someone else may not be the best for you.
Conclusion: Try all them out and see which one is best for your needs.

Flash the kernels and try them. Different people have different preferences so different kernels will suit them.
I personally prefer nAa because of the performance. But if you want battery life. nAa will not suit you, so its best you first hhand try them.

suggest please..
I'm really sorry to say, I guess the moderators are gonna be mad. Its been said dozen of times in Xda, that you are NOT supposed to ask which rom or kernel or any other thing is best.
Its STRICTLY against XDA RULES.

Please, this is mandatory to every XDA members to read the forum rules.

You'll see all the available Roms, kernels and a lot more for your device.
Thank @demkantor for that. :good:
The best way is to try the Roms by yourself.
Read the threads of the Roms you like, obviously a lots of other users might have already given their opinions on those Roms.
Then choose and a Rom and try them.
Thanks...
