Please Ask ROM Specific Questions In The ROM's Thread

I hate having to look in Q&A for questions about a specific rom. If you ask in a ROM's thread then there would be more people with that rom that have more specific answers and experiences.

I agree with this, but until I get to 10 posts I can't reply in the ROM's thread in the Development forum. =(

New users are not allowed to help... :( ???

I have just registered because I wanted to help somebody with one question in a development forum. After registering, I realized that I'm not allowed to post in the development forums until I post 10 times in the general forum because this forum is only for expert users. I cannot catch the connection between new user and development expertise...
Well, no matter. If the help and collaboration is not wanted, I'll let the user's question unanswered.
I will just continue only reading and not participating...
Bye...

That question should have never been in the development forum in the first place, it should have been in Q&A if available or general if not. You could also PM the user, rather than spamming maybe?

This ^^^^. The question shouldn't be asked in a development forum, that is what q&a is for... development is for development, not questions... not even a question about the rom/kernel should be in development... only development related things... as one of my fav devs say, logcat or gtfo of development forums...

please help me, I'm new member, can't post my question on other people's Thread, please Thanks
Flash the kernels and try them. Different people have different preferences so different kernels will suit them.
I personally prefer nAa because of the performance. But if you want battery life. nAa will not suit you, so its best you first hhand try them.

New phone! Looking for ROM suggestions

Just got the s3 coming from the Blaze and I wanted to know what anyone could suggest as a ROM and Kernel combination for best battery life that has the least issues/bugs. I am in the process of rooting the phone now and I know I have some reading to do as to what rom does what. But I just wanted to hear some suggestions as to what Rom is the most battery efficient and least buggy. Thanks!

It's a little dated (4.1.1) but of all the roms I've tried, this is the most stable, and if you do what the OP says to save battery, you can go for a couple days with no charge. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2070955

Questions and help issues go in Q&A and Help section
Development is for developers to post work
Also a good place to read up on all the popular ROMs to find one that suits YOU

Why not close the thread as its a "best ROM thread" which are closed daily?
At OP I have a ROM Guide stickied in the threads, read that and other stickies and you shouldn't have many questions after that.

You got it!
No one uses their phone or goes through the same signal strength areas as you do OP. So what may be good for someone may not be good for you. You have to try what you like and see. Then read the thread of the ROM you chose for battery saving suggestions. There is NO such thing as a best ROM for battery life. They are all good for the people using them.

???

What is the good (4.x.x) rom that have better gaming performance..?
suggest please..
I'm really sorry to say, I guess the moderators are gonna be mad. Its been said dozen of times in Xda, that you are NOT supposed to ask which rom or kernel or any other thing is best.
Its STRICTLY against XDA RULES.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1887210
Please, this is mandatory to every XDA members to read the forum rules.

Its ok....
Just go to this thread....
You'll see all the available Roms, kernels and a lot more for your device.
Thank @demkantor for that. :good:
The best way is to try the Roms by yourself.
Read the threads of the Roms you like, obviously a lots of other users might have already given their opinions on those Roms.
Then choose and a Rom and try them.
Thanks...
