Just released my first SmartWatch 2 extension. Watchify let's you push all your notifications from your phone to your watch. Just check it out and let me know what you think - suggestions for improvement and bug reports are welcome!

Thanks! Since my stock Gmail extension does not work on my 4.3 phone I will test this just on Gmail notifications. It will be interesting to see how well it works versus my current approach of gmail to k9 to k9 extension.

@KrokGena sure. Done

My HTC One X is not compatible with the App (says Google Play)

It is also not compatible with my phone (Alcatel one touch scribe HD),but the screenshots lool very good. Could you add more devices to the compatibility list?
Thanks! Great application!
One question... in whatsapp notifications, can I activate only message notifications and disable group notifications?
Good app. I like the possibility to delete the notification from smartwatch. I noticed that this app use a Lot of ram than other smartwatch notification app. Can you Fix it?

Great to have more variety! I'm currently using 'Augmented Smartwatch Pro' and 'Watchit' but both have things I don't like so I'm happy to see another rival
I'd like to see Extended notifications for more apps, especially for 'Notify My Android' since this is one of my main uses for the SW2. Currently WatchIt and Watchify trim the text from 'Notify My Android' notifications.
I'll be happy to pay a reasonable price for this app if it turns out to be the best of the three!
regards
Gmail extended notification is not working for Note 2 with android 4.3... No notification was pushed to SW2.

If whatsapp emoticon can be displayed on SW2 instead of '???', then it's perfect! :good:
it seem nice but google telling me it's not compatible with my phone ;(
and can't downloading with apk-downloader either.
is it possibly to download it with out using of the play store?
nice app, for this to replace the stock notifications apps i would need at least whatsapp, facebook, gmail and twitte
but both facebook and twitter would require a filter so i can select what people i get updates/messages from

Doesn't seem to work on Note 3 either, although I didn't give it longer than about a minute to arrive as I only needed to know if it was slower than the normal gmail notifier. If it was as quick I would have given it a chance for the ability to dismiss things from the watch.
After installing this addon I suddenly realised that the ONLY notifications I ever use are SMS and GMail, so its not essential for me right now. I will keep an eye on it though as no doubt my expectation will change as I get used to having the watch.
Incidentally, how hard is it to write extensions, bearing in mind I know nothing about Android programming at this point?
This app is incompatible with all of your devices.
sony xperia sp
There is a problem with multiple whatsapp messages. If i receive 2 whatsapp messages in the same time i Can See only the first.
Another question. Possibility to add the possibility to reply?

Hey guys, especially devs,
Is anyone able to do a flashable zip for Custom App Notifications like Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger etc.?
So that it pops up on lock screen like a sms notification?
I want to use it on all roms, so please dont write "USE VIPER".
Thank you

I join this movement. +1 Somebody should be able to look into it, this really has been my main point of dissapointment from the HTC one.
I'd like this too. Stinks we're limited to email, phone, sms and calendar.
Yep I also would love the tweak. really. It makes those apps more integrated into system.
Would be kind if these devs who already did it, will share it for the community.
Please post it in the threads!!
If I'm not mistaken.. viper have this feature.. and if I noticed right only they have it back in HOX day..
Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4 Beta
I don't like pop-ups that much so I use NotifierPro Plus from Google Play. That works with basically any app and is similar (but better IMO) to iOS' current banner notification system.
+1 ...
even i liked it when i was using the viper rom. Currently i am use trickdroid and i would love to have that feature in this... I have requested for that feature in the trickdroid thread. You guys too come and request. hope he gets convinced by the demand and adds in his next release...

Hi all
I got a new 32GB WiFi Nexus 7 (Android 4.3) a few days ago and have successfully rooted it. All is going well except for one thing - I’m using the stock email app for Exchange email and it works fine – I can set it to collect the mail at regular intervals or never (manually), but there isn’t an option anywhere (that I can find) to tell it what the peak and off-peak times and days are. In know these settings exist as my old Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 (which I no longer have) had them.
I’ve searched the forum and also used Google but can’t find where the settings are.
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks

How odd. I had assumed the email app was the stock Android one as they look pretty much identical on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 and the Nexus 7. And yes, my HTC Desire C has the settings.
Thanks - thought I was being stupid! :-\

I am not sure, but if you have Android kitkat (4.4) then search for GEL launcher (Google experience launcher) and sideload it. If this doesn't work, then it's because the hardware of Nexus 7 doensat support this. Nexus 5 does.
Gesendet von meinem Nexus 7 mit Tapatalk
No, because a processor is missing.
And without processor, it would suck your battery. (If someone can make it works.)
Just a gadget...
4.4 with GEL (Google Experience Launcher) will give you that voice activated command. I have it already on my Nexus 7 4G LTE for some time now.
It will only work with GEL though, no other Launchers will work

It's not clear, to me, what the OP means by "activate". If you have a stock 4.4 N7, you already have "OK Google" available from Google Now, but not from the launcher. Maybe that's all he wants. If he wants it from the launcher, he can install the GEL as suggested.

Stock Android for my N7 2013. I say OK Google and it doesn't work. My Moto X picks it up though. Anyway to activate this? It's on under settings for Google Now, so not sure why it's not picking up.
Update: Looks like it only works when you're in the Search and it doesn't behave like Touchless Control on Moto X
The virtual assistant app utter! is a good combination with Google Now. It's always listening, and one of the voice commands is, "OK Google". It is highly customizable, and very handy in the car.
Sent from my Nexus 7
People saying it works certainly don't understand what the OP is talking about.
He's talking about how Moto X for instance, picks up "Ok Google" from anywhere and just launches Google Now so you can say whatever you want without touching the device.
This doesn't work on the Nexus 7, even with the GEL launcher.
It works on mine with the GEL launcher, but *only* if I set the language to US instead of UK. Tried it but it doesn't understand a word I'm saying!
It's as simple as this...

Hello, may be a silly pointless question but it's annoying me already. The past 4-5 phones I've had never had this problem only when using the HTC10.
So what it is when I'm looking through a facebook photo album I can't seem to swipe through the photos properly I have to swipe right from the edge of the screen to move to the next photo. Has any one else noticed this? thanks

Strange can't be that. It doesn't do it on my missus s7 or my old Moto X Style or my OPO. Only the HTC 10.
All I could think is the pre-installed facebook is different. May have to root and remove. Plus cannot get on with this stock TouchPal keyboard. Lol.

Yeah Facebook is the only app I have that has this issue swiping right or left in.
What version is your Facebook app? I uninstalled updates after one of the recent ones started crashing. I'm back on 80.0.0.21.65 (the one that downloads and installs when you click the app icon for the first time) and have no issues swiping through albums.
The newest version in play store is 81.0.0.22.70
Hi guys. I am having the same problem and it is driving me nuts. I have the lastest Fb version, i tried to delete it but it demands me to update the app every single time. Swiping only works from the bezzel to the middle.
Has anyone figured out how to fix this problem??
I had this issue on LG G5, Xperia Z5, S7 and HTC 10. Facebook issue definitely. Cannot see how to fix it.
for me its fixed now
Just seeing if anybody else has been experiencing any issues since the update to Android 7
Some of the issues I've seen.
1. When trying to update apps and I load another app, the play store will freeze (notification screen will say play store is not responding)
2. When I have multiple apps open, the recent apps button seems to hit or miss if it actually wants too display anything
3. When using the facebook app and I press the recent apps button, I get the split screen, but the face book news feed goes blank
1) tried a few times, no freeze
2) works like a charm here, 30+ open apps, task switcher is instantly there & double tap to quick switch between apps is working flawlessly..
3) cant test, no facebook account
Cheers

No issues here. Thing has been smooth.
Facebook even works fine in split screen
No issues noted on my end, Facebook shows up normally, although it does give the warning that it may not work properly in split screen.

For point 1, try sideloading the latest Play Store and Google Play Services APKs.
For points 2 and 3, these seem like they might be Nougat issues, and not HTC 10 issues. Try a google search and see if you find anything.
No issues at all either. Ran perfect the few days I had it in my phone.

I've been having a few issues since the update too. The stock weather clock doesn't seem to work on apex launcher. Haven't tried it on any other launcher yet, but it works fine on the sense launcher. I also haven't been getting notifications right away for gmail and some other apps. It might be some overly aggressive power saving. I noticed those particular apps are completely closed and gone from the recent apps drawer after a while and I get the notifications when I open them manually. Going to try turn off power saver for a day and see if it does anything

Let us know how you get on
My concern is signal ,is very bad after update and the download speed is Lower than any other phone ,even Lower than axon 7, I did a speed test in the same spot and axon 7 got double the speed than HTC 10

I too love the m8. A beast. The 10 is a worthy successor. And i personally prefer it more to the other flagships as well. The only ups are that it has a fingerprint scanner, way better camera and the high res audio. You won't feel much difference in the perfomance if running normal apps. So if you want these things, go for it else flash CM 14.1 in your M8. I too have flashed cm14.1 and everything has improved.
I hope you have got the answer to your question.

I think so, thanks. I mainly love the smoothness, the sound volume of the speakers and the sound quality of the headphones (my last smartphones were Samsung and they sucked on those departments) on my m8 but I've read that the speakers sound better on a quite ambient (more bassy) and the headphone quality is even better, is that true?

I had the same exact devices as you and the International One X, and Sprint Evo 4G LTE before those and I am loving everything about the HTC 10! The Nougat update allows you to disable the standing notifications in your notification drawer and a couple of status bar icons. You can also add a few quick toggles and that is Nougat stock...I am going to clean up my SD card and flash ViperROM because I have run it on all of the HTC devices I have owned and it always works great for me!

It's a Sense based ROM but has the BEST and most customization options like status bar brightness slider, horizontal tenable quick toggles, also vertical quick toggles, custom theming, a whole Venom Hub full of add ons and more but it absolutely stays true to Sense...unless it still has the "De-Sense" option in the Aroma installer options
