Replacement screw for my Note N7000 - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Accessories

I have a black GT N7000.
While replacing a faulty charging port, I lost one of the black screws on the back of the phone. I'm wondering if I can find a replacement screw for cheap at radioshack or something.
I came across this ebay posting for replacement screws. But I need just one of these black screws
http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-SAMSUNG...e_Replacement_Parts_Tools&hash=item1e8513c047
What is the size (model) of this screw? I can use the size number/model and ask for one at a radishack/phone store nearby.

When i had that problem my local optician had a screw that fit.
That was a different phone though, but give that a try.

N7000 Replenishment Screen

Hello guys,
10 minutes ago my galaxy note N7000 screen cracked in my pocket.
So I need to buy a replenishment screen from Samsung but I simply can't find stores that supplies replenishment parts for it. Do anyone knows where to buy a new Amoled LCD screen for galaxy note ?
Thank you and best regards,
Amid
ebay, took 5 days to ship from HK to NYC. Follow youtube guide in opening the note and use blow dryer/heat gun to loosen the sceen, wedge open with something sharp and slowly tear back the screen gently. You will need the old Wacom sensor from the broken screen so becareful to not to rip it. There is guide in the general section. I broke mine 2 weeks ago and replaced it in a hour. take your time you can get it done.
Thanks man. Just to be sure, the price is about US$ 230,00 for it ? i am not sure if I am looking for the right spare part.

I think this is what you are looking for:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/S-Black-Dig...087?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c65951cd7
I can try but I don´t think this will help the problem. The screen doesn´t show any images anymore, looks like a broken LCD. When you press it, a lot colors appears around it. Do you believe this is the one I need ?
Thank you and best regards

Hmmm no, in that case you will need the 200ish one.
You will need the entire setup, glass, LCD, and Touch. Does not come with Wacom sensor. Looking around you can get them for 230-260. Look for delivery, that makes a huge difference, especially with your phone out of commission.
This is the guy I purchased mine from, but I panic and purchase the first one I saw. If you do some research you will find cheaper, but I got min in 5 days. So I am glad this guy came thru. Good luck, its going to stress you out a bit when you have to remove the screen from the front panel, they are glued on so take your time. Looks like your LCD broke so it is going to crack and shatter further so make sure you do it in area where it is easy to clean. If you look at the front panel after you remove it, you will see one wire that does not come with the replacement one, that is for the wacom sensor, so be careful and don't damage that part, you will need to peel it off and place it back on to the replacement lcd, otherwise your s-pen won't work. It's been 2 weeks, my phone is going strong and no sensor or sceen issues. You should get a more protective case, since you probably already blew close to ~$1000 on this phone by now. I have a casemate, otterbox commuter looks like a good one. Once again good luck, you can do this.
Please stop advising people to do something that is not meant to be done and can possibly damage their phone even more. And most likely look completely rubbish when assembled.
The correct repair part is a complete display assembly including everything - the glass, digitizer, Wacom digitizer, AMOLED, bezel, frame abd home button. It costs around 260 dollars on eBay and is relatively simple to install. By installing the complete assembly you don't need to worry about separating the glass and AMOLED or about the Wacom digitizer, since they are all included. Just remove the screws, back housing and motherboard, disassemble the audio flex cable and front camera flex from the old display and put them into the new one. Most displays also require the old charger port flex and speaker module to be used.
The correct part looks like this, for example: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=320843198847
Well mine looks brand new, must be the workmanship ;-P But why flame my advise when he is going to need to do it anyways, the screen is completely useless, as was mine. Why don't you keep your assumption to yourself in how it will look or if he is going to ruin the device. If he decides that he would rather live with a crack screen or someone who is willing to do it, there really isn't much options here. What's up with such negative attitude here. Just trying to show him that it can be done.

Replacement screen with 2 connectors
Hello!
First of all I would like to say Thank you for all the resources provided in this forums!
Could someone please help me to find a replacement screen for the International version of the Galaxy Note GT-N7000 with 2 connectors? This phone has the physical home button. All the replacements that I've been able to find have just the first connector. I tried to post a photo hoping to help better explain it, but I can't do it yet.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Thank you s.magus! I would love to go that route, but I'm in Venezuela, and Samsung is selling the GN, but does not yet have replacement parts. You're right, that will be the best way.

Hi ,
I think Senior member Justis is right... many of us dont want to do a full screen replacement for 220$...when we can just remove the front screen for 20$..many have done this method successfully... U just need to watch a lot of youtube videos on this and be careful/delicate with the procedure... its possible.
So i dont think what he said was a waste.. Pls keep such remarks to yourself.. He was not wasting anyones time.
Infact you are wasting my time making me read your message and give u a reply.
You know what...im doing a screen replacement too... thats what guys do first. njot jump in and do a full replacement for 220 $.:good::good::good:

Accelerometer/Gyro help!

Hi guys. Just bought my second note 2 after my first one sadly broke.
I bought a new one for $300, as it is in terrible condition (bezel is in shocking condition) and the screen has been poorly replaced (dirt and hair between the glass and amoled.
Bought it for a bargain as I can get a new bezel for $16 and new glass for $20 on ebay.
Only one thing I have noticed, the gyro/accelerometer doesnt work. Could the previous owner have bumped a cord or something while he/she was replacing the screen? Is this a simple fix.
If someone could reply with a picture of a diagram of the mainboard showing where the gyro is situated maybe I can have a closer look.
Plus, if for some reason it is completely shot, can you replace this part easily?
I would flash an official rom, if still does not work then its broken.
Yeh I have, no change.
There a part I can replace it with? Or is there a conncetor that I can double check is in place?
A far as i know its part of the motherboard so the end user will find it hard to replace.

[Q] Screen replacement

Hi. I just got a used HTC One X phone, but the digitizer is cracked. I understood that I can't change only the digitizer, so I wanna buy a digitizer+LCD display assebmly. Now I have a problem. Reading on the internet I found that there are 2 different screens, with green and yellow flex cable. Which one is for my phone? I have the international version with Tegra 3.

if you are going to change it youself then best to open your hox and match the serial number
My idea was to open the phone after I have all parts (want to change the housing and display assembly) from ebay. I saw that they ship the parts with tools, because now I don't have any.
Sorry for double post, but I wanted to tell you that I managed to change my LCD display. I bought this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/111039746173?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 and I am very glad. I didn't noticed any contrast/color differences. Everything worked as it should, except vibrate, which doesn't work anymore and I don't know why, I triple checked the connectors of the vibrator.
If someone want to change by himself, just go to service I had a very hard time to take the phone apart (I also changed the back case cover).
Oh, the old LCD had panel_vendor and panel_id 944701. Same with the new one.

Not good, I'm pretty sure the tablet has a clear optic adhesive under the digitizer glass and lcd so if you remove the glass the glue will be remove too and you will be left with a display that looks like it has a big air bubble under the screen...(someone correct me if I'm wrong)
see the thread here (for the 12.2 model but I'm pretty sure it's the same for the 8.4)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...p/replace-cracked-glass-tab-pro-12-2-t3251203
so you will most likely have to replace the digitizer glass+ lcd in one unit
for the full assembly you might be able to find these on ebay or aliexpress (china- might be official or knockoffs)
http://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=SB_20160117213008&SearchText=sm-t320+lcd
look for ones that include the LCD + Digitizer as one (usually around $100-$170) - also make sure the store has a good return policy and good feedback (maybe even good feedback for the item aswell), it is very hard to return to china so it's best to make sure before purchasing.
http://www.samsungparts.com/Products/Parts_and_Accessories/SMT320/Default.aspx
this place sells all the parts but you might need to email them to get specific part numbers - and well it's probably expensive
last but not least send it to Samsung and have them fix it, they will usually just swap out the lcd + digitizer with a new one.

Thank you. I guess its too expensive to make a screen replacement for the tab. Not really worth it to fix it for $200. Rather than buy a new tab. Hopefully i can find somwhere else where they charged not that much. Thanks again.

I would check around with local repair shops (ones that specialize in tablet and phone repairs- since they should be very familiar with the oca film), maybe if you can supply them with a replacement digitizer, they can do the rest of the repair for cheaper.
you can check youtube for the oca film process (type oca film or LOCA screen) and a bunch of videos will come up.

It's crazy, this tablet costs more now used than what I bought it new for.
I too have a broken digitizer... And my screen has been going bad.. So unless you live near a samsung service center, that option is out. I keep seeing people suggest the LCD + digitizer replacement, but there is not one guide on how to actually do it.
The only thing I could find was some German guy on YouTube for a digitizer (not a whole LCD) replacement. How do you go about doing the replacement? The generic answer has been look at iFixIt or YouTube, but there isn't anything for this model...

I broke my digitizer the same week I got mine. I found only one place online to buy one. Google it, it's from China. It was about $160.00ish.. I followed the tutorial for galaxy tab s on YouTube. It was very easy.

dead screen -_-

Dropped note 5 yesterday form about 3 feet high face down on wooden shelve with tempered glass on it. At first screen it had a huge black patch on it with purple lines all over the screen. Now totally black screen with just notification led blinking. There is no crack on the glass itself just a hairline crack on the inner display. How can it be so delicate. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
Happened with my Note 4 but I was still able to plug it in to the computer to get all my stuff off of it. Luckily, my insurance replaced it with a 64 gig Note 5.

LCD/digitizer assemblies are not the cheapest for our phone. I would also suggest looking to find a bad ESN/IMEI, google locked, or something similar and just swapping motherboards. Its definitely has saved me money in the past going that route!
