1. What is the difference between those?
2. If I change it, Will i lose the warranty of my tablet?
3. I forgot the third questions, lol sorry. When I remember i will post it.
Thank you guys, developers or not, because one way or another you help.
.

No answer. Well, I'll be waiting.
Btw, the third questions is, whas is the best way to change from UEMI1 to XXMK1.
Thank you guys.

I know, I know, I know...
I am a member of a few different forums for other things and there is always a neb that comes on and asks a question that has been beat to death.
I have heard that God kills a kitten ever time someone post a thread before doing a search on what you are trying to get answered. So for my sake, God's sake and that poor kitten sake, I did read through a lot of post before I had the sack to post this question
I am posting this question because there seems to be a lot of different answers to a lot of different questions, so, I was hoping for very direct answers to these questions that I know have been asked plenty of times...
Here it goes...
I have purchased the HTE EVO w/ android 2.2 and I have had it for about 2 weeks.
I want to root my phone, which is my first ever smart phone.
This is what I would like to happen...
1) I want to be able to have the restore point so that I can flash my phone back to stock so that if something happens the warranty will still be good.
* Does this save on my home pc or sdcard? Or Both?
I have read that you need to download here not there(ruu...clockworks/rom manager)...no here not there...If you download anything but this you will not be able to get it back to the stock setting and Sprint will know you have rooted the phone...The whole thing started to get a little confusing.
I am a very simple person so I am hoping for a very simple answer, if there is one.
1) How do I root my HTC EVO that has the android 2.2?
2) How do I make sure that I can have a recovery point incase I mess it up (brick, etc...)
3) How do I make sure that I can flash my phone back to the original settings just incase I have to send it in to be fixed for some reason, which rom manager lets me do this?
4) Is it legal to do this?
5) What might be the biggest no-no to do before, during and after you root your phone?
Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this.
MOD Edit:
Moved to Evo 4 Area
Cheers,
M_T_M
PS: The kitten does not suffer though
Hello people ^^;
My question is,what is all this "2ndinit" about? I saw alot of guides and people speaking about it but i have no idea whats it about.
Thanks in advance^^
If allowed I would like to add another question:
with this will it be possible anytime to have 2 different System on the phone ???
e.g. Stock 2.2 and CyanogenMod
Hello!
I hope you can help. After upgrading the ota the day yesterday, whenever I change the background and picking a picture from the gallery, it only allows me to choose part of the picture, that is, the vertical form, which gets too zoomed in and looks horrible. Before, I would allow me to choose a different form, more landscapy...
Yes, the backgroudn scrools, but the image quality is HORRIBLE!
Is it happening to you? Do you know how to fix it?
Thank you so much!
I already answered this question in two threads (one of them yesterday), plus there are a few more about this, its the ROM, Samsung made it that way. Search and youll find out how to fix it.

Sorry,
I really did search and only found one post from september 2011 without answers... I will look again, but could you at least let me know which post?
Thanks
I didn't mean to be rude, sorry also.

This one has a fix, but I haven't tried it:

Most of the dev ROMs have this fixed already.

Thank you. You were not rude, you were helpful! I always search, but couldn't find them possibly because I didn't know the right words to search for. Thanks again
Hello guys, this is my first post in here, so sorry if it's in the wrong section(and for my English, it's not my native language - Greece here ^_^ ). So, I have the LG G3(European - d855). I have rooted it and I'm running a lollipop-based custom rom(Android Now HD 7.3). I've got my QuickCircle™ case, and it looks and feels awesome. But I have a question: is it possible to see Gallery Images, besides the clocks? I mean, like, let's say I want to see a particular image from my gallery for a reason, but I don't want to open my case. Is it anyway possible to do that ? Or maybe there's an app or a tool that does that ? Thank you in advance for reading this!
Cheers!
Sorry,
I cant help you with your question. I do not own the case in question. My comment to you is to NEVER apologize for your English. Your question was very well written out. Most English speaking people don't formulate sentences that well.

Oh, thank you my friend
Hi there, everyone!
First of all, I'm TRULLY sorry if I'm posting this thread anyhow mistaken.
It's way too complicated for begginers like me to understand the right thread or forum to place questions about devices and stuff like that.
I've searched a lot of threads related to my device but I couldn't find the correct answer to my question, so here I am.
Well, let's see: I have an Asus Zenfone 2. Really like it but I just can't stand those ****ty Asus apps that comes in every device of the brand.
Question is: is there any way to flash the stock rom (I REALLY love the features and settings Asus has on its cellphones) without most of those apps (that, basically, just occupies space and memory) or maybe selecting which ones I want to install? That would be awesome and I appreciate any help that might come in handy!
Many thanks!
