Hey guys, i recently bought a ringke slim (best case ever) and was very very pleased. my only gripe with it was that i missed the two different textures the phone originally had. I then was on amazon and stumbled across carbon fiber vinyl used on car interiors and thought it would bring me the two tone i missed (also considered skateboard grip tape).

note: phone was really dusty from pocket-lint. I was in a hurry posting this, will post better / cleaner pics on request.

Just ordered this in Infinity White. After watching your review and a couple of others I have high hopes for this one.

I was researching because I have seen people skin black iPhone's (bleh) and such to be white and I thought it looked awesome. I found a site that has a very huge reputation and customer feedback that now supports the Galaxy Nexus! I already ordered my white skin! These are awesome because they do not add any bulk and look legit!
Will post pictures of just a few examples, they have 8 pages of skins though! 9.99 for the skin, not bad at all just an FYI for anyone that also wanted to do this,

Caution : I dont know if its mistake or not from them, but looks like it does not have cut out for glowing notification LED.

Looks good but a no no for me if notification led is covered. Mind you The white skin would look brilliant with white theme.
you can just use a hole puncher to make the led notification.
if you want it all white, soon there will be white nexus shells available and mercury (korea company that makes cases and protectors for mobile phones)makes the multi colour screen protectors for many phones including the nexus are already available.

Not very good at making holes could ruin it. Shells will probably make significantly bulkier which I don't want.
I will probably wait for feedback on skin.
I got mine from skinit.com
i will post pics in few minutes i made really similar design as i will have on my phone just waiting for my invisible shield to arrive

I'm waiting on the white chassis with the white extended battery door.

this one is my friends (i made the design online on their site and he applied on his phone for now) he said it was easy , and skinit is better since you can do your own design.
I much prefer using gelaskins myself since they only seem to be the ones that cover the full back of the nexus while other sites just cover the battery door and a strip underneath it. Plus like many other sites you can make custom skins for yourself with custom designs.
Plus they are a local business. Gotta support the local economy

Hi all,
I've been looking around but I've not found any waterproof/underwater case/pouch thingy that goes with the Galaxy N7000?
I would like to bring along my N7000 for a holiday with snorkeling & water sports, and planning to capture some underwater video/image.
Seen something like that for Samsung Galaxy S2...but for our Galaxy Note?
Anyone using one? Any recommendation from fellow XDA-ian?
*btw, I'm from Malaysia & I know there are some on Ebay but they don't post to Malaysia. Not sure why thou.

Will be a tight fit, Note is 2.5mm taller than the maximum size.

Can't say that I have dive tested them but I rely on them to keep my note dry when I run and work out in the tropical heat of Houston.

I recently emailed Aquapac about the Note and they advised me which waterproof pouch to get.
Got the Small Whanganui Case (348) and the Note fits perfectly inside. You can still use the phone and touchscreen, though wet fingers do make it difficult sometimes.
Looking to buy an LTE one if anyone is selling one. Just cant justify buying a new one for the price. Hmu here or at [email protected] is you have one
No dude. Its amazing. Very sexy. I get compliments all the time. The metallic looks just like the silver on the phone. Blends in perfect. Now it feels like there isn't a case on at all.
Its very hard to pull off too. Never had it pop off without really trying.
