[Q] What stock rom in my case?

Hi,
I'm planing to root&reflash my new note 2 device with a custom rom.
But before im just curious, which stock rom should i use in any case for my region...?
My phone info are like in attached img. (is it XXDLK7 or XXDMB2!?)
My model is GT-N7100 (white) , but it is branded oryginally with T-Mobie welcome screen - I'm confused =\
And so on, which one of roms is best alternative for Tablet Mode ? Maby someone tested already...
Oh,& last thing, maby it is stupid Q but does i handle LTE ? (i'm using gsm/wcdma card - but just want to now that i need different lte model for it)

You can use any region ROM you like. If you want a poland stock ROM, the latest one is N7100XXDMB2 N7100OXXDMB1 - Download Here
N7100 doesnt have LTE.

Hi, i have this phone...
GT-N7100
Android: 4.1.5
Baseband: N7100ZCALH3
Kernel: 3.0.13-93991
Build: JRO03C.N7100ZCALH40
The GPS do not work and i want to install another rom.(i think it has something to do with the rom, its a china rom i think.)
Downloaded Odin Mobile and i get an error : A compatible device was detected but with an unexpected partition layout. Mobile odin cannot operate. This is a common error on CM and MIUI ROMs on some devices
I have never tried flashing a rom to a android phone before, and must say i am pretty "green"..
I really hope on some help
If you need additional info, i will provide anything you need... JUST want this phone to work 100%

I live in Shanghai and the last time I saw a Android 4.1.5 was on a fake Galaxy S3.
If it's a fake Note2 there's nothing XDA can do for you.

What is the spec of this china note 2? Screenshot if you can?

It cud be a clone note 2 as I saw on web there are few AHD singapore note being slod for cheap price.

I want to flash firmware 4.2+ from 4.1.9 gt n7100 built cnanzhi Samsung made by Korea
I root with kingo because cannot enter dload mode. Then I install mobile Odin
And it says ..but with an expected partition layout. How I going to solve this

I think that in practice what you are trying to do is install a ROM that is made for SG Note 2 to your phone, that's not a Note 2... Hopefully it gave an error and it wasn't possible because if your phone did flash the ROM, I think that you would end up with a bricked China Note 2 instead of a working one

Mine is I think original Samsung Galaxy Note II or the least recond bcoz I checked at the back Samsung made in Korea assembled in china and comes with warranty. And FYI I would like to flash cwm ROM and flash 4.2+ like jellybean or kitkat sir but I just can't enter download mode but I didn't yet used adb download mode bcoz its very big to download man.half a gig.Thanksgiving

Unrooting GT-N7100? i've done my research desperately....in vain?

sorry to ask a question that many of you are aces at, but how can i unroot the n7100? i've done my research; the proof is the links at the end of my post. I want to unroot so that the phone can receive the latest updates OTA or by downloading official files. No custom roms, theyre just not required (yet), since its my brother's phone.
Details: Model is GT-N7100
Currently: Android 4.1.1
Baseband: N7100XXALJ2
Don't think kernel is relevant, so omitted
Build Number: JR003C.N7100XXALJ3
(i've double checked, and all above information is correct)
I wanted a few questions answering, really.
1 - What is the difference between the build number and the baseband? I have 2 note ii's in the family, and the above details are my brother's. and in both of our phones, the baseband and build number are only slightly different. What are they?
2 - In one website, i was directed samsung-updates.com (http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-N7100) to download the appropriate firmware, but there was a differentiation by region code (3 letters). What is this? And what if i cant find a UK/GB version?
3 - When unrooting, which firmware do i actually use? What if there will NEVER be a sim card inserted? (it's a gaming phone only)
I will happily and with much appreciation respect your responses to this....Help me out? I may be a novice, but not a noob. I don't want it just answering; I'd really like to learn more here, so please treat me as a student (i'm only 16 anyway, but that's besides the point), and explain how and what.

Easy. Download a stock rom in odin format. Download triangle away, reset flash counter (just for being safe) put phone in odin mode (power+vol down+home) and open odin and then flash the file

you make it sound really easy, but aaagh, i dunno where to download the stock rom! (With the latest update). That's my definite BIGGEST problem. The rest of it is fine, methinks. Since you've mentioned it, is the triangle away app really necessary if it isn't going back to Samsung/dealer?

Yeah. Its a must. What Note II you got there. 7100 or 7105. I can see if I can find stock rom

I dont use it much. Dont worry. BTU is factory unlocked. Use your specific one. Remember triangle away before flashing
BTU = Factory Unlocked
H3G = Hutchinson 3G so ThreeUK
O2u = O2UK
VOD = Vodafone.
Use carrier specific please.

(Q) Lose signal

Hello everybody ! I have a big problem with My Samsung galaxy note II N7105 LTE...
I don't Know for what but i lose frequently the signal 10 or 20 second. It's a big problem during a call or a GPS using... -_- The 2 first month i don't have this bug.
Now my rom is " Jedi rom " i try to :
- install another rom
- install stock rom
- Change 3 oem antenne " the body, the flex, the speacker and antenne assembly "
- Try another sim card with another carrier.
- Try to put my sim card in N7100 " it work fine "
- Try to change my sim card with a new sim card.
I don't have other idea for this problem.. i think to sell it with this problem if i can't find the problem.
Have a suggestion ?

Sorry to hear about this bro. This should really be in the Q&A section though, but I will try to help.
Are you still Running Jedi at all? Also, have you tried to flash a modem specific to your carrier? That will usually fix your signal issue. If you find you are having those kind of issues, flashing modem will help. Most Roms will only come with Generic modems, and while they do work, they might not provide the best signal either.
Give that a shot and see how you go.

Nope, its hardware/model is different. if you do it, it will BRICK your phone, install Rom for correct device

Why would you risk bricking your phone by installing a different phone's firmware onto it only to get the camera? I suggest you to check out the thing called PLAY STORE, it has dozens of decent camera apps.

i don't think it will break it they are at the same clock speed even i can install the kernel of my mobile only the newer version of software and the new apps that's all i need and all cameras in PLAY STORE u mentioned SUCK

could u tell me why it will break if i installed grand 2 OS wz my I9082 kernel ?
Guyz i tried using Odin3 but it failed and refused to download it
i thought about this idea because one of my friends made it before by mistake by installing a very different OS on his mobile and it was only the buttons that didn't work which made him notice that mistake otherwise he wouldn't have noticed
and Thanks all for your help and replays and im still waiting for the best solution here

It won't work bro... The best you will get is Odin will refuse to flash it (because of different device signature) or if you manage to flash it then it won't boot (because of VERY different hardware) and the worst thing is after flashing you corrupted everything in your phone beyond repair, not even fixable.
It's like trying to fill your car with airplane petrol, not gasoline, and expect it to work. No, it will damage your car beyond repair.
Be safe bro, try not to do anything illogical like this... Even though we do not want your device get damaged, we still can't force you to NOT do it. Flash at your own risk, because we do not take responsibility.

Dont ever do this. if you want the camera, just take the camera app and replace but backup the original one Or wait someone port it

Just unpack the grand 2 firmware, DONT flash it

It won't work either... because Grand 2's camera is made by Android 4.3 API, and thus it won't work on our Grand's stock firmware 4.2.2. Better to wait someone port it...

I heard android.zealot.fervor is working S4 camera on s2 plus, just wait until its stable and he will publicate it. S2 plus is similar to grand

You can't ever flash it unless and until the signature is for galaxy grand. ODIN will always reject it,
If you backed up your camera app, there must not be any app or nobody has posted it yet, wait for someone to port it

Like @naufalhadyan mentioned you will most probably HARD BRICK your phone
