Nope, its hardware/model is different. if you do it, it will BRICK your phone, install Rom for correct device
Why would you risk bricking your phone by installing a different phone's firmware onto it only to get the camera? I suggest you to check out the thing called PLAY STORE, it has dozens of decent camera apps.
i don't think it will break it they are at the same clock speed even i can install the kernel of my mobile only the newer version of software and the new apps that's all i need and all cameras in PLAY STORE u mentioned SUCK

could u tell me why it will break if i installed grand 2 OS wz my I9082 kernel ?
Guyz i tried using Odin3 but it failed and refused to download it
i thought about this idea because one of my friends made it before by mistake by installing a very different OS on his mobile and it was only the buttons that didn't work which made him notice that mistake otherwise he wouldn't have noticed
and Thanks all for your help and replays and im still waiting for the best solution here

It won't work bro... The best you will get is Odin will refuse to flash it (because of different device signature) or if you manage to flash it then it won't boot (because of VERY different hardware) and the worst thing is after flashing you corrupted everything in your phone beyond repair, not even fixable.
It's like trying to fill your car with airplane petrol, not gasoline, and expect it to work. No, it will damage your car beyond repair.
Be safe bro, try not to do anything illogical like this... Even though we do not want your device get damaged, we still can't force you to NOT do it. Flash at your own risk, because we do not take responsibility.

Dont ever do this. if you want the camera, just take the camera app and replace but backup the original one Or wait someone port it

It won't work either... because Grand 2's camera is made by Android 4.3 API, and thus it won't work on our Grand's stock firmware 4.2.2. Better to wait someone port it...

I heard android.zealot.fervor is working S4 camera on s2 plus, just wait until its stable and he will publicate it. S2 plus is similar to grand

You can't ever flash it unless and until the signature is for galaxy grand. ODIN will always reject it,
If you backed up your camera app, there must not be any app or nobody has posted it yet, wait for someone to port it

The GPS do not work and i want to install another rom.(i think it has something to do with the rom, its a china rom i think.)
Downloaded Odin Mobile and i get an error : A compatible device was detected but with an unexpected partition layout. Mobile odin cannot operate. This is a common error on CM and MIUI ROMs on some devices
I have never tried flashing a rom to a android phone before, and must say i am pretty "green"..

I live in Shanghai and the last time I saw a Android 4.1.5 was on a fake Galaxy S3.
If it's a fake Note2 there's nothing XDA can do for you.

I think that in practice what you are trying to do is install a ROM that is made for SG Note 2 to your phone, that's not a Note 2... Hopefully it gave an error and it wasn't possible because if your phone did flash the ROM, I think that you would end up with a bricked China Note 2 instead of a working one

Looks like it is the same hardware so maybe the only difference is the language content...
If it is not possible or too risky to flash 210 firmware on 210R hardware, any way to add any additional display languages?
doing this for a friend, so any help is higly appreciated

You can flash the T210 firmware, but will lose the T210R only features (IR blaster).

I was unable to flash 210 to the 201 hardware, it fails during the flash when it tries to load radio.img.

I dont get it In about device section My Model Number is SM-T210...
and in my box it says T210R ...
Im just curious really, just wanted to know what is my real model number...

Im not sure, because this tab was a gift from my father,
but my father is not fond of 2nd hand when it comes to phones or tablet...
But when i open it, it just like brand new! I dont know...
I will figure it out later if my tab 3 is brand new or not..

Normaly ,only The SM-T210R has got the IR Blaster .

It looks like T210 firmware. I don't remember ever seeing an MG2 build for the T210R. The model.name should also show T210R.
Flash sm-t210 frimware then root it and flash blackhawk kernel and wala you have ir blaster

i think i already had a sm-t210 firmware, and actually i can use my IR blaster using peel smart remote
so no need the blackhawk kernel, but many people say it is a really and one of the best kernel, so ill try that:good:

Maybe.. but i dont do anything in my rom .. im still using stock rom, when my father gave it to me its brand new and i just normally root it using odin ang armebia universal root that's it ... i dont do anything else in my tab..

i have a fake galaxy note 8 and the problem is the "system/app" folder is deleted ! and the rom is not going to load.
i can't use odin to flash a new rom and i don't know what to do.
i have a recovery file as a zip file but the " android system recovery 3e " don't give me a permission to install it.

You can only flash a ROM that's made for that device. If you flash a ROM that's not made for that device, you will brick it. You bought a fake Note 8.0 don't expect it to work with custom Roms or official Roms made for the Note 8.0.

Yeah, that was a bad idea but your best bet would be porting CWM to your ghetto note 8 which is no easy task.

No u can't Install coz there is a hardware change in u r mobile even though if its clone so if u try to install u will land to heavy bill so dont try to install anby of galaxy grand ROM's

Ok i got it. But i want to access its recovery mode. Whenever i do it manually by pressing volume up + power + home button altogether. It gives me 3 options Recovery, normal, fast boot. I select Recovery but nothing happens though u can navigate by home button but cannot enter any of the option.
Although i've tried accessing recovery using MTK tools. It reboots my device but shows me 'No command' written under the android offical recovery logo.
I want to access the recovery so i can make a partition in my SD card. because the phone memory is low. Its about 176 mb which is very less as compared to the new phones. Pls help me.
Since I don't like to break stuffs (of any kind), I'd like to ask if any Galaxy Fame ROM can be installed in a Galaxy Fame S6812i edition. The thing is I have a friend with one and would like to put a non-chineese ROM on it. But when I Google it all I can see are other ROMs, and again, can I flash any Galaxy Fame Rom into an S6812i edition?
