hi i bought from flipkart XPERIA ZL 10 days back.. my phone and box of the phone is showing C6502 which is the version sold on INDIA but pc suite recognize it as C6503 which is an LTE version..
what its could be.. the box was sealed and the IMEI on BOX and Phone Is Same.. how to identify weather it is INDIAN or Imported Product..
Do you have LTE in your zone? Try to connect. In the picture a can see 4.3. Do you use flashtool?

I assume it's a bug in the pc suite software.

I would trust what your C6502 displays, as per your image.
Reads like your version of PC Companion is confused by it, so hopefully Sony will fix this bug in a future update.
BTW, don't be afraid to utilise the screenshot feature of your C6502 infuture.

Google for another paid service, which is the ONLY way to Sim unlock.
Hi there I'm using wotan client to unlock boatloader but it gives me the option of three different models Z1,SO-01D and R800
I'm not sure which one I have and how I would find out anyone know any information about this
Thanks

From what I understand if your play has a hdmi port its a z1. The r800's are all the other versions. Whether that be a gsm or cdma version. No clue what the SO-01D is.

SO-01D is the Japanese version of the Xperia PLAY. Z1 was the original (development) name of the Xperia PLAY prior to its release. So for now the Xperia PLAY goes by two names, well three.
SO-01D - Japanese model of Xperia PLAY
R800 (at,i,x,a)
Another name that signifies the type of motherboard is Zeus.
Thats all I got.... but hope it helps clarify. So unless you have a Japanese model your phone will be R800. You can find out by doing the following from the homescreen.
Menu, settings, about phone, Model Number: R800 (then whatever letter you have. at is AT&T (USA), I (International)

never buy sony phone. As you buy it ,you will be disappointed. No good rom,no better service, also they will not give you any update when the phone is old, even one years old devise.
thats weird because SP is cheaper than ION here in my country. I think there are better choices out there. You may want to look on mediatek powered phones. they are much cheaper than qualcomm. I'm not sure of the built quality though. I'm on a rebranded micromax a114 right now and its working good and awesome, they're almost half the price of international brands
any positive opinion???

If you can get it in your country, the xiaomi redmi is right within your budget. Even the Xperia V is a great alternative. Ion has a snapdragon s3, so it's a fact that it is slower and more power hungry than even the 1st gen s4 processors.

the two words i am going to use is OLD PHONE, and its was made in 2012 and its now 2014
SO DONT BUY IT
It depends on what you expect from it.
If you're aiming for software updates or installing latest apps or a bug free experience then stay away from the phone.
Camera is ok.
Touchscreen isnt that great but ok ok.
You can install latest custom roms but dont expect bug free experience.
