I have the Bose QC15 and they used to work before I paired my phone with Sony Bluetooth speakers and now whenever I connect my QC15's to my phone I get a thumping/clacking noise when I turn them on and the music plays via the built in speaker and this also happens when I use my AE2, the headphones work with every other device apart from my s2, in-ears work fine including bose QC 20i... WHat should I do, I reset factory setting and still not working

Speaker playing music to, how to turn off speaker while playing music? or need change some units?
hmm, i have that issue if HTC headset isn't plugged in properly, but as it is nto stock headset it might be a problem that can't be resolved properly
Has anyone else paired a headset to their slide and had media audio come through it?
I paired my old jawbone2 to my slide and when I was playing a game, game audio came through the ear piece. It only happened ONCE and now everything (except calls and the genius button) is back to the phone speaker.
Is that normal? Should audio be routed through my BT Headset like that? I was pretty certain only calls should go through to a non a2dp device.
I don't know anything about the jawbone2, but I have no problems. For regular phone use, I have a Motorola H500 and I always play Pandora in the car, and have never had music come through the H500, just voice like it should be. (I've used the H500 on the G1 I ordered on launch day, on a Motorola Droid, a Sprint EVO 4G, and the 3G Slide on a variety of stock and non-stock ROMs.) I also have a Motorola S9 A2DP headset, and the audio works as you would expect on it also on all of those devices. Maybe the Slide detects the Jawbone2 in a funky way somehow. What does it say when you go to Settings->Wireless & Networks->Bluetooth Settings->Jawbone2 (press & hold then select options.) If it's not a A2DP headset, it should just say "Phone, Use for phone audio." An A2DP headset will also say "Media, use for media audio." If you are lucky, the phone is just detecting it wrong and you can uncheck the Media option.
It only did it once and then went back to acting like a normal BT headset.
I am going to chalk it up as a fluke from initial pairing.
And under options it says phone audio only which is ok.
I'm replacing it with a Jawbone Icon tomorrow which supports a2dp and a whole slew of other nifty features for a single ear headset.
Don't deal with much bluetooth headsets but i do hook it up to my car stereo and i know there are settings in the bluetooth of that specific device. have you had a chance to look in there?
Bluetooth Pairing problems
I have similar problems when pairing to my truck stereo. It auto pairs when I get into the truck and works perfectly well the first time I make a call. But after that it doesnt disconnect properly AND it will disconnect but will stay paired.
I am able to go into BT setting and have it reconnect.
Works once then bam not connected again.
I have Android version 2.3.3
Baseband 47.3201.35.06U_7.07.35.025
Kernel 2.6.32.17 -Cyanogenmod-g501281a
Mem Info
183MB /418MB
Build GRI40
Connecting to a Kenwood Receiver
DNX9140
It worked fine for my Nexus Not sure why this is happening.
Thanks
Thanks to help from one of the members on here my bluetooth is now working fine for making/receiving calls.
However why does the audio from youtube app or tunein radio app not also come through my bluetooth device when paired and connected but instead through my HTC Desire loudspeaker?
Any one got any idea?
I'll try rephrasing the question.
Why doesnt a standard bluetooth in ear headset carry the full audio of my HTC Desire the way a pair of bluetooth headphones probably do and not just phone calls?
Either noone knows or the ones that do aren't seeing this thread.
I have Nokia BH-503 headset and I had the same problem. The calls would go through my headset, but everything else would play on the speaker. I noticed when I went to settings/Wireless & Networks/Bluetooth settings that my headset connects to phone audio, but not media audio.
I did some research and found a solution that works for me. I turn on the headset first, then bluetooth on my phone. Wait for a few seconds and that's that. My headset works perfectly and plays all audio from the device. When I go to settings, it says that the headset is connected to phone and media audio.
Try that and see if it works for you.
I'm only getting the option to use phone audio for some reason. I even tried switching my headset on first as you suggested.
My headset is a Nokia BH-102.
Any other ideas on how to get the media audio connected?
I think my bluetooth headset is just too crap to play media audio.
I have a pair of Sony headphones with an in-built mic ,when attached to my phone the work as a headset . The issue with them is that usage has broke the mic. Now whenever I connect my headphones my mic gets switched to the headphone's mic which is broken. Is there a way root / no root which lets me reroute the mic to the default phone ones when I connect the headphones?
My USB-C 3.5mm jack adapter that was included with my Razer Phone won't work with my Sony WH1000XM3 in a call.
All other sounds like ringtones, movies, music or Youtube work.
But whenever I call or get a call I get the following results:
The adapter works with a normal (in ear) headset on my Razer Phone.
The adapter works with the Sony WH1000XM3 on a Pixel 3A.
But it won't work with the Sony headset on my Razer Phone.
Anybody knows what could be the problem?
I've tested some more.
If I start a phonecall with another headset plugged into the USB-C converter I have call audio.
If I switch the headset to my Sony WH1000XM3 during the call, than the call audio works.
But if I hang up and start a new call, the call audio will be gone again.
So it seems like the phone doesn't recognize the Sony headset and doesn't switch the call audio to it.
I'm gonna try to find a cable with three rings on it to use with the Sony. Maybe that'll work.
- Edit -
I've tested with some other headphones without a mic and they also don't have call audio. It seems that the phone doesn't recognize the headphones.
The Pixel 3A does recognize all headsets (with and without mic) when connected via the Razer dongle.
- Edit 2 -
I received my mic/headset cables.
I connected my Sony headset with that cable directly to the dongle.
Now the phone recognizes the headset and sends the call audio to the headset. But the mic is still deactivated.
On the Pixel 3A the mic of the phone keeps working, even though I have the dongle with the headset connected.
I haven't tried a full reset of the phone yet, because I don't want to spend another weekend reinstalling, setting up and restoring backups.
As a last resort, I will try that.
Sent a mail to Razer last week. No answer yet.
