Anyone have a modded Google search widget 5x1? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3

I would like to have a Google search widget that stretches to 5x1. The only one I have stretches to 4x1 in Touchwiz. Anyone have something like this? A Zooper or UCCW skin will do, too.
Thanks.

Can't you just resize it? I have 5 columns on my desktop using Nova, and it lets me resize the search bar to 5x1. If your current launcher cant do it, try one of the alternatives.

I wanna use Touchwiz. You cannot resize that particular widget in Touchwiz. I know about Nova. But thanks.

Creating invisible "hotspots" on homescreen - Is there an app for that?

I'm currently using wp clock for my homescreen clock. Previously I used fancy widgets which allowed me to map the weather icon to weatherbug, and the battery percentage to settings. Because wp clock is a live wallpaper and not a widget, I can no longer do this.
Is there an app out there that would allow me to assign an invisible area in the 2 corners for functions like weather and settings?

the closest thing that I can think of is circle launcher. you can configure each individual widget to only have one icon/app plus you can make the circle widget completely transparent.
an alternative would be to use a 3rd party launcher (ie apex or nova) that allows you to change icons for any given homescreen icon. than just use a transparent icon or pic.

I'm already using apex, I may try your custom icon idea. Would be nice to be able to resize area to 2x2 though.

use desktop visualizer and add a 2x2 widget...then use a transparent/blank icon

Well, it depends on what your doing.....there are a few launchers that you can select your own icons and crop them, or adjust the size all together. Apex (crop), Go Launcher (adjust icon size). I personally use either desktop vizualizer or Uccw and make my own icons using a widget because you can get more sizes that way, like a 4x1 button for phone....

Touchwhiz launcher/widgets apk

Ok, I was wondering if anyone out there had an apk of the TW Widgets or a modded TW launcher. I'm looking to get more than 4×4 on the home screen and keep the TW Widgets. I am not looking to root just yet so a zip for flashing is out of the question. Thanks in advance.

You can download nova apex or holo launcher and still have the stock widgets and also change your rows and columns

Not exactly. Some of the widgets don't work in Nov (such as the weather clock)

I really would like to keep the touchwiz 4×4 calendar widget. I like it the best and it doesn't work on any other launcher

Without root it's doubtful you'd be able to move the modded apk into /system/app or change permissions anyhow..
You wouldn't be able to install or side load it like any other third party launcher?

Nova Launcher
i have been using Nova Launcher on my AT&T Galaxy Note 2 and I must say it's pretty sweet...customization is sweet color them hand gestures and all...check it out in the Google Play Store theirs a free version and a paid version $4.00...I use the free version for like 10 minutes I liked it so much so I just purchased it....it's been amazing..everyone I know have been asking me what is that and where can I download that at...Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is simply untouchable at the moment...and way way better then any iphone out there....

Business Calendar from market seems like a suitable replacement for that widget. Try it out.
Got sick of not being able to find anything so I just rooted and I am running the modded touching. Thanks to all who offered ideas.

[Q]make app icons transparent? (other than transparent launcher)

I bought Transparent Launcher Premium, thinking that it would do it for me. Unfortunately though, it lacks many basic features that I think the developer should have implemented. There is no way to search for an application by name to make it a transparent widget (you have to scroll through all your apps in non alphabetical order), and you cannot make multiple transparent widgets for your app icons (has to be 1 by 1). Lastly, with my Note 2 I can't even have a 1x1 transparent widget, only 2x2. So please guys, any other viable options out there? I like to have a nice wallpaper to look at with most of the apps that I use still on my homescreen.
PS sorry for the rant :silly:
Lightning launcher has the ability to make icons and widgets transparent.

Thanks for the reply. I do not want to switch my home lunched though. I'm a firm believer that most big things on a phone should be stock... runs smoother.

CM11 Trebuchet customization

I've problem with trebuchet widget.
When I try to place dashclock widget on the homescreen its displaying 3x1 widget size, instead of 4x1 widget size. Plus, trebuchet unable to resize most of the widget so i cannot make dashclock centered on the homescreen.
I got this problem on some widget. Do you guys have a workaround about this?
Edit: the problem is because i use 200 dpi..
So is there anyway to fix it on 200dpi??

You can try this other launcher -> http://www15.zippyshare.com/v/18126339/file.html
It's the same than Terbuchet, but more customizable... good luck!
Still buggy

you guys should try using google now launcher, and installing "xgels" from playstore. You will need xposed installed but it allows you to customize Google launcher in a lot of ways. It's perfect for me
