Well, it depends on what your doing.....there are a few launchers that you can select your own icons and crop them, or adjust the size all together. Apex (crop), Go Launcher (adjust icon size). I personally use either desktop vizualizer or Uccw and make my own icons using a widget because you can get more sizes that way, like a 4x1 button for phone....

I'm looking for a theme our plug in that increases the size of the doc icons. Any one have recommendations?

I used to use go launcher but haven't for awhile. You can change the size of the dock to make it taller. That would also make the icons larger I believe.

I found a way to make all icons larger but not just the dock.
I'll have to make my own icons maybe

How man? PLS SHOW ME
I'm currently using wp clock for my homescreen clock. Previously I used fancy widgets which allowed me to map the weather icon to weatherbug, and the battery percentage to settings. Because wp clock is a live wallpaper and not a widget, I can no longer do this.
Is there an app out there that would allow me to assign an invisible area in the 2 corners for functions like weather and settings?

the closest thing that I can think of is circle launcher. you can configure each individual widget to only have one icon/app plus you can make the circle widget completely transparent.
an alternative would be to use a 3rd party launcher (ie apex or nova) that allows you to change icons for any given homescreen icon. than just use a transparent icon or pic.

I'm already using apex, I may try your custom icon idea. Would be nice to be able to resize area to 2x2 though.

use desktop visualizer and add a 2x2 widget...then use a transparent/blank icon
That worked beautifully, thanks!

I bought Transparent Launcher Premium, thinking that it would do it for me. Unfortunately though, it lacks many basic features that I think the developer should have implemented. There is no way to search for an application by name to make it a transparent widget (you have to scroll through all your apps in non alphabetical order), and you cannot make multiple transparent widgets for your app icons (has to be 1 by 1). Lastly, with my Note 2 I can't even have a 1x1 transparent widget, only 2x2. So please guys, any other viable options out there? I like to have a nice wallpaper to look at with most of the apps that I use still on my homescreen.
PS sorry for the rant :silly:
Lightning launcher has the ability to make icons and widgets transparent.

Thanks for the reply. I do not want to switch my home lunched though. I'm a firm believer that most big things on a phone should be stock... runs smoother.

All wallpapers I download from zedge be oversized and doesn't show the whole wallpaper. Any apps or suggestions? Thank you.

that's because if you're using the default touchwiz launcher it doesn't scroll wallpapers.
if you want the whole picture the free way is to go to paint and resize and add black bars above and below..that will make the whole thing visible
or just crop on phone
or just live with default touchwiz crop

I would like to have a Google search widget that stretches to 5x1. The only one I have stretches to 4x1 in Touchwiz. Anyone have something like this? A Zooper or UCCW skin will do, too.
Thanks.

Can't you just resize it? I have 5 columns on my desktop using Nova, and it lets me resize the search bar to 5x1. If your current launcher cant do it, try one of the alternatives.

I wanna use Touchwiz. You cannot resize that particular widget in Touchwiz. I know about Nova. But thanks.
