[Q] Bothersome Battery Calibration Issues? - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

I just Came from cyanogenmod 11 Android 4.4 KitKat and I flashed over TommyTarts' Quantum 4.4.2 KitKat on my Galaxy S3. I am using Zerolemon's 7500 milliamp battery and used to get 36+ hours of battery life. When I switched to Quantum, the battery charges to 100%, then immediately after I unplug the phone from the charger it goes straight down to about 57%. Is it a calibration issue or what?
Thanks in Advance

Seidio Extended Battery Charging Problem

Hey Guys,
So i just recently bought the Seidio Extended Battery 3500mah for my HTC EVO 4G. I was happy to know that I'd have battery power all day until I noticed something strange happening when it was charging.
The charging light would be on but the battery charge percentage would go up and down. It would be on its way up for a period of time, then I'd come back a little later and the percentage would be down. This is a horrible surprise to know that this wonder battery isn't living up to its name.
The phone is rooted and I've tried putting a new ROM on and it still hasnt fixed the problem.
If anyone has experienced this problem or knows of a good ROM/Kernel combo it would be greatly appreciated to get all of your advice.
Thanks guys.
I have the same battery, and I've noticed the battery does behave differently on different roms. With Sense-based roms, the battery doesn't fully charge in trickle mode (after unplugging, quickly drops from 99% to about 90% in a few minutes). Also, sometimes after switching from the extended battery to the stock battery or vice-versa, the battery appears to drop 50% or more unless I wipe the battery stats in recovery, and then it reports the correct charge level.
I don't have any of the above issues with aosp-based roms such as cyanogenmod.
The EVO will NOT fully charge a 3500 battery without a SBC kernel.

Seido external battery charger...works like a champ and it does take awhile to charge up the 3500 battery...at least 5-7 hours if you drain it down to 10%. I do notice when I use the USB charger it charges faster but will not last nearly as long.
Get a wall charger!
I have had a wall charger and extra batteries since the first week I owned my Evo. Look on Amazon and Ebay.
I've been running mine for about 16 months on the *stock* rom, didn't go through any of the "special" break-in procedures - just started using it normally from the first charge and I still get amazing usage times after almost a year and a half. Are you using the stock HTC charger?

Horrible battery life on Kitkat (stock) .

Recently I updated my tablet to the stock 4.4 room via the OTA update.
Since then, my battery life has gone horrendous.
Android OS takes up most of the battery when the tablet is idle.
With ~2 hours of screen time and a day on the battery, it has drained down to 30%.
Anyone facing similar issues?

My phone does not like extended batteries

Hey all,
I have done some searching around here and on the web but have not found anything (with a solution at least) similar to my problem. First off, here are the details on my phone:
SGH-I747M Galaxy S3 unlocked on Telus
Rooted on stock ROM
Running JB 4.3
Currently have CWM 5.5.3.7 installed
Now the problem:
My phone does not seem to enjoy extended batteries. I have attempted a few replacement batteries from battdepot.ca (their replacement is a 3.7V 2300mAh) and two of the Hyperion 2200mAh 3.7V replacements all with the same issue. I have sent the batteries back and had them tested and even had new ones sent to me and still the same thing happens so I am certain it is my phone. I have had this issue since before I rooted the phone and was on JB 4.1.2.
I charge the battery overnight every night and it usually says 100% in the morning. When I unplug the phone the battery percentage immediately drops down to 88%. When I get to work about 45mins later and look at the phone, the battery is usually around 94% (it always creeps up slowly to a max of 94% after unplugging it). If I plug the phone in at work it will go up and down between 96ish% and 84% but will not go back up to 100% unless I leave it charging for the whole work day... mostly it will then just hang around the 85% mark. Most times I still get pretty decent usage but other times the battery percentage will drop from 94% down to 15% and below.
I have tried "calibrating" the batteries to no avail. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a way to fix it? I only have this issue with batteries above the stock 2100mAh.
Any help is much appreciated!

Where's my good battery life?

I have never had good battery life on my Galaxy Tab S 8.4 ever since I got it in April of 2015. I did a battery test using the Geekbench app and it gets only 4-5 hours of life. And since this is just screen on time, my battery normally drains much faster. I've tried 4.4 Kitkat, 5.1.1 Lolipop, and even 6.0 Marshmellow with no real difference to battery life. I have also tried battery monitoring and battery doctor apps, as well as deleting the batterystats.bin file and even ripping my tablet apart and reseating the battery connector. I've thought about replacing the battery, but the only battery i can find is from NewPower99 and that's $60.00, way too much for a battery in my eyes.
Plenty of battery`s on eBay.

me too in my tab s sm t700
battery life is die quickly in stock rom 5.0.2
Keep your screen brightness as low as usable, avoid white or light screens as they use the most power it is a disadvantage of oled displays, I keep my display on auto -5

Downgrade to KitKat, as the other day i upgraded to lollipop and the battery was dropping 1% every other min its a joke. So i downgraded to KitKat and it gives me easy 3 days use and that's heavy use T705!
How to downgrade t705 to kitkat
I use a built-in feature to keep the screen toned down. In the display settings, there is a reading more feature where I select the apps I primarily use, including my default launcher Nova Launcher, and it tones the screen brightness down while those apps are in focus. Like right now while I'm using the Tapatalk app.

Head over to http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ download your firmware and flash using odin it's real simple!
Found this over at Android Central as last few days my battery has been all over the place, as it was fine before. Anyway my battery dropped to 5% turned it off. Waited a minute or so, turned it back on bat was showing 45% wow so i'm draining it again Ive let it drop to 5% again this is the 3rd run now its showing 42% crazy credit goes to rouge-hawkins
I had the same issue on my brand new Galaxy Tab S LTE version with Exynos chip. I was like WTF on the battery because the moment i disconnect it from the charger it would soon drop to about 85% in 5 minutes. Then the dropping continuous in huge leaps like from 70% down to 30% while i'm just browsing the web. Then when it came down to 5% it would turn off. The moment i plug in the charger while the device is off the battery level would start at 40%. It was erratic for 2 weeks. Good news is i was able to resolve this without doing factory resets.
What i did was the moment the battery came down to like 5% i completely turn off the tab and turn it on , the tab reported a higher battery level like 45% then i continued using and until it drops again to a lower level like 3%. I power cycled the tab again and it reported battery level at around 24%. I used it again until battery level went to 3% and rebooted it, then it reported 12%.. used it again until the device really wont boot anymore. Then i used a slow charger. I used the 1A usb charger from my other phone (while off) and waited until 100% full. Then things became normal.. it reports battery level fine after. I also installed Clean Master and disabled some background apps and Samsung bloatware that i really dont use. Everything is ok now and im happy with my Tab S 8.4... hope this helps for those who got their device over the holidays. I resumed using the 2.1A default charger and issue doesnt seem to repeat anymore.

Battery drain faster and drain while charge(Phone turn on)

I'll try to change ROMs and battery and I change cable and battery keeps falling. And when to my brother drain 3% and to me drain 2x or more. What I need to do? Now I have Xeon ROM, before this I'll try fulmics ROM and stock ROM. And battery drain faster Always. And the problem with the charger started just a few days ago. And sometimes it works out, but it has reached the level that it charges 11% in half an hour(The Phone is Turn off) !!! Then I changed cable and it improved a bit, but still makes trouble
