We do allow recommendations for ROMs/Kernels, at the end of the day everyone has different opinions depending on their use. Please head over to the development section try some out and see which best suits your needs.

What do you mean with that? The many topics with this "best rom for" ****?
Why all the questions about which Rom, it is all down to user, and what they prefer, myself I am on stock and just mod the phone.
Wish the mods could but all questions of this sort into one thread...... Allot of work I know

The only solution is to press the report button for evey one of these threads and write something like 'duplicate thread'!
The mods don't have time to monitor it themselves.
I remember seeing a mod like this a while back on some other phone, its just a mod to be able to start up the phone at certain times and you could set it while the phone was off if it was charging, i also remember seeing a % for the battery
Anyone seen something like this for the n7100(or some universal one)?

Flash the kernels and try them. Different people have different preferences so different kernels will suit them.
I personally prefer nAa because of the performance. But if you want battery life. nAa will not suit you, so its best you first hhand try them.

Hi, I'm looking for the best, clean, touchwiz based ROM without lots of tweaks just the bloatware removed etc. I'm running Clean Bean which is very good but is only running 4.1.2 thanks!

Officially, we only have 4.1.2. You can debloat yourself, stay on Cleanbean, or use my Barebones ROM. Or search the development section for what you want.

XDA is a development site not a support site. As such members are expected to do the research, read through the development threads and decide what is BEST for them. The only results that would be posted here are what each member has found to be BEST for them by experimentation based on their phone/usage/setup/apps/signal strength. Please take the time to read through those development threads to learn all about the software you are about to drastically alter your very expensive device with.
