Hi folks, I have hox stock unrooted jellybean 4.2.2, my question is, can I get .apk to allow transparency in taskbar an widgets as I don't wanna root as I use some apps that don't work if rooted, if so is there a how to, any help greatly appreciated, ok i have came to the conclusion after some browsing that there is no way to have transparent widgets and taskbar whilst unrooted.
So here is my thoughts, if possible could i root my adorable HOX, flash the stuff for transparency taskbar and widgets, unroot and relock and still keep all the flashed mods intact????????
mmmmm, i wonder, is it achievable

Hi all.
I have HTC One V, not rooted. I don't like Sense 4.0, so I use Nova launcher. But I would love to have that transparent notification bar in Nova, so I was wondering if that was possible? I'm willing to root if it happens to be so.

Yeah, but will those status bars work under a different launcher (not the default one)? The status bar in Sense just works with default launcher, not with the Nova.
yea try PA, i use NOVA works perfeectly
Ehh. I saw a thread like this, don't know if it is possible. I can attempt, but I don't think it will work.
The way HTC made it is so the transparency doesn't blend with the background in apps like the browser. Rooting won't help you. If you want to, you will have to use a different Rom, non sense, or ignore it
Transparency also eats performance a bit.

Hi all,
i'm rooted, unlocked but still with the stock rom.
I want to know if there is a possibility to change the color of the stock rom theme, the blue? I mean all the indications in the notif bar are blues as all the little "finitions". Can i edit that whit an app or something else ? I don't want to move to another rom actualy.
Thx.
Toy have to use a custom rom. One with theme manager and then apply a theme.

Are you using any, like battery monitor, or anti-viirus app, which shows up on ur notification bar, under on-going.
If yes, disable it and try. this might prevent installation.
Let me know what happens
Best of luck
it's probably not compatible with JB and Sense4+ have a look through the themes and apps pages, there's plenty of JB compatible skins there

Nope. If you want to change icons without rooting you'll need alternative launcher like Apex, ADW, GO or Nova (which I prefer the most). All of them are free (but you can buy full version with few features added). Check them out on Google Play.
Yes you can... Get Desktop Visualizer from Play store... And you can put your custom icons for anything......

hey guys im looking for a theme or launcher for the new update for the T999. However, i'm not rooted. I decided to unroot an take the stock download. Wondering if there are any good themes. I tried nova launcher and Apex but my= main interest is the battery at the top bar to be changed. I really liked the cobalt themes but i know you have to be rooted for them. Anyone shed some light if I can use a launcher to customize the battery widget at the top?
The only way to change that without rooting would be a Statusbar Replacement app from the market. Try "Statusbar+" I forgot the name of the other one
