I experience a very anoying bug since I own this phone, I prefer to use the Movie screen mode because it's less flashy and more readable.
But randomly my phone switch to optimize mode and the only way to make it fall back to the movie mode is to change settings like luminosity and aiuto rotation, and after some try it sometime fallback to Movie mode.
Does anybody else face that $$$$ bug ?

As many of you know, this annoying bug still isn't fixed in any AOSP rom for the G3 after all this time. For me, it's worse than the slightly worse camera issue, because after a few days, I always give up and go back to stock because it's really annoying when, for example, I have to make a call in a hurry and this happens, very frustrating.
Some findings about it:
- Doesn't happen in all the calls, seems to be random, but longer calls seem to produce the bug more frequently
- Enabling touch feedback in dev settings shows what the problem is: there's a ghost touch present on the screen (sometimes more than one) after taking the phone from our face, which makes it seem the screen is being pressed while it's not in reality
- Swiping the screen with 2-5 fingers in any direction makes those ghost stucked touches go away
- Brightness is decreased when this happens
Possible fixes I tried and none worked:
- Enable immersive mode for the dialer and disabling swiping on the status bar to change brightness - makes the brightness bug go away but not the stuck screen.
- Disabling proximity sensor in calls - works, but the screen is still on, sometimes I disconnect the call with my face by mistake.
- Some combination of llama or tasker profiles - Could work but I don't know how to. My solution would be "when in a call, and turn off and lock the screen - then, when we take the phone off our face, turn on and unlock the screen. This would theoretically work, don't know.
So, any ideas?
I was playing some games in landscape and the tablet won't rotate back to portrait without a reboot... I usually notice it after playing clash of clans but it might have done it with angry birds also... I've tried toggling auto rotate and closing all my apps but only a reboot solved it
Ever get this solved? I'm having the exact same issue.
It's a known issue with the N7, and one that has been around a while. I eventually installed Rotation Control to get around it so that when the accelerometer quits, I can manually change the display mode between landscape and portrait.
When i use custom watchfaces that use digital clock when the watch goes on ambient mode the seconds counter freezes for some seconds then catches up repeatedly. If i tap the watch and come back at normal mode everything works normally. Is this normal? Is there a way to fix that?
I *think* that in ambient mode the screen refreshes only once a minute or something like that to save battery power.

I think it would be a mixture of how the watch face is programmed and how Ambient mode works.
If other watches act normal then one would have to believe the other watch faces are bugged or are running as expected. You could Email the watch face developer and ask him how it should act.
I dont personally use Ambient mode so I cant say.
The wireless projection is very useful thing for me. I connect my phone to my tv to watch videos on my phone and online. The problem is if i choose desktop mode, the touchpad gets super delayed and its hard to control, it is very annoying to the point that i always switch back to phone mode.
The issue is that videos dont play full screen when in phone mode, there's big black borders around even if you press full screen in video settings. Videos play in full screen when in desktop mode but the trackpad issue is just problematic.
Anyone has the same issue?, how do i solve it?
The brightness randomly decreases/increases sometimes on stock miui rom.
I have 3 poco m2 pro and the issue occurs on two of them. Both of these were bought in July when the poco M2 pro was sold in its first sale. I bought the third one in October and the issue does not seem to be present there.
Basically brightness decreases randomly in certain apps. It can be reproduced with 100% reproduction rate in the following situations [keep brightness to max to notice it easily]
1.Launch camera app from homescreen. [more noticeable with white homescreen background] You'll see the brightness dip immediately. The brightness will increase back again to normal value after you close camera by pressing home/back button.
2.In Youtube, when you pull down the notification shade, you'll notice the brightness increases a bit [video must keep playing, paused wont work. Watch some bright video like Graham's explanation of the Gamestop stock video]
3.Open a doc in drive pdf viewer, hide the app ui by letting it stay for a while. Then trigger the ui by tapping on the pdf somewhere, the ui elements come onscreen and brightness also increases.
It also occurs in other apps but cannot reproduce reliably. I have darkmode on,Sunlight mode and auto brightness disabled and the forced dark mode for apps disabled.
Factory format does not help. I visited the service center as well, they took a bug report and said everything is fine. I have been back and forth from the service center and poco email customer service regarding this. They have formatted my phone several time but have been unable to fix the issue and insist nothing is wrong with the device, even though they do also agree that they notice the brightness dip/increase. I argued they should replace my devices if they can't figure out the issue , but they refused and as such now refuse me service at the service center. Please advice.
