Hi.
No there is already 10i, but we don't know changelog's from LG, so probably nothing significant.
What method have you used? Root this phone it's very easy and you can find a couple of methods in development area.

Hi!
10i?Where i can download please, cause i don`t find them and doesn`t appear when i search for updates on phone And how to flash correctly the firmwares, cause i find more options(first i use one with Lg mobile support tool and s&d tool who are more complicate but after appear the security error i try fo flash the firmware with kdz_fw_upd_en and works well). After second flash,i don`t try again to root, because i don`t to brick again.
For root i use ZV9-ZVB-Universal root. But i must to have unlocked bootloader or other trick for root stock rom?
Thanks for answer,sir!

10i version mentioned here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2602193.
I don't know if KDZ is available but you can search in XDA or google. Maybe it's better to stay with 10H.
For update I've used several times KDZ_FW_UPD with no issue (follow this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44874388&postcount=36)
I've used the zv9-ZVB-Universal-Root (attached), because it was necessary to changed the bat file, unlock bootloader is afterwards with FreeGee.
What is the version of your phone? Are using the right kdz?

I find the 10I kdz but not for my country. For a few others, maybe i will recive later.Yes,i think now i stay with 10H version.
To clarify me,for work root,it`s necesary to have unlocked bootloader?Or unlocked bootloader it`s my option after i rooted it.
With the files you give me for root i must follow the same procedure?Run CurrentRoot with phone in Only charge mode, after that change to MTP and Enter?
Thanks for the file and topics, are really useful and what exactly what i want and i don`t found.
EDITn lg firmwares official site on my country i have the V10H version. But now i download the lg official firmware, enter the IMEI and the app give me V10F version. And now i check the lg site again and V10F version are last for service provider where i bought the phone and V10H are without service provider name(EX:V10F for Orange/Romania and V10H for Romania). Can be this a problem?

No. Root is independent from bootloader, but to unlock bootloader with need to have root.
Yes, that is the procedure to run .bat file. .
I'm not sure about your country, is your phone from Orange/Romania? I think that you can install 10H, but not sure wait for other user confirmation or install 10F to test...

I understand.Maybe first i did something wrong and that give that security error.I wil try again.
Yes,it`s from Orange/Romania,was a network lock phone but i decoded it with IMEI.I have the V10H and runs well,a just ask about the V10F version cause the Lg official firmware app show me that version to be the last and i think can be a problem with compatibility and that give me Security Error. Thanks very much for answers and for your patience

I´m new too.

I flash the rom again, and root it,restart a few times and works. But,after i unistall with Titanium Backup some apps who don`t use(google movie, books, music,lg note, email, smartshare, cell broadcast, google+,youtube, chrome) and restart, again appear the error with Security Error and phone don`t turn on.I don`t know, are something to do with root or are some apps that must don`t be unistall. But i didn`t unistall any other system aplications. What did you think, sir?

For sure it's an application issue, my advice is to google about system app that can be uninstalled.
You can also uninstall one by one to identify the ones that gives you security error.
Don't forget to do a backup first!

I found some topics here and i found cause i`m not alone, everyone has this problem when unistall stock apps. But i find the solution,i can turn off the apps from settings. Now i will try again to root but not unistall apps and see if appears again the error. Thanks a lot sir,you really helped me a lot!

You can return back to stock with this usefull guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2388440 (it works very well especially if you have a kdz>1GB ) or simply with KDZ updater( you find guide there http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2010624 ).

I coundn't find the way to change the stock video player (which is quite buggy, slow and no option for full screen) in web browsers in CM11. It would be gread if we could choose for example MX player instead. Is there any solution to this? Thanks.

[Q] Downgrade from android L on LG G3

Hey guys massive noob here, wondering if it is possible to downgrade from android l to kitkat or to root android L on the G3. I foolishly updated and my root is gone, stump is not working (obviously not made for L yet) and I can't find any help elsewhere.
I need to root my phone and I don't care whether the the best way is to downgrade or to root if it is available for the new os. I will lose my data other than what is backed up via dropbox etc but it's not a big deal for me.
Help much appreciated thanks
Yes it is possible just downgrade to Kitkat using the lg flash tool then root using Purpledrake
You can get the KDZ file required from this link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2791761 (make sure you select the correct file)
LG Flash tool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089
Root: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/root-root-lg-g3-easily-purpledrake-lite-t2821000
Yup, what he said it's fairly easy. Give it try, let us know if you need help.

I've fallen at the first hurdle, which firmware do I need?
I have a UK vodafone LG G3, 16GB, LG-D855, and I want the last version of kit kat available. I'm more than a noob.. .
Also why do you choose Purpledrake over stump, is there any difference?
Thank you so much
This firmware you want is A6VF, it is near the bottom of the list.
The reason I use purpledrake over stump is because some times it won't root and says "...Not supported" but feel free to try stump if you want and if it doesn't work just use purpledrake.
Hi. I got trapped with unrooting and updating to lollipop lg g3 D85520e-EUR-XX and wanted to return to kit kat 4.4.2. It's the 32 Gb model. Can you help with the KDZ i must download (I can't understand the four first characters of the list!). Thanks!
What network are you currently using? or is it an unlocked phone. A country name would also be helpful as that's how the files are organized.

It's unlocked. It's in Spain. Lg g3 D85520e. 32 Gb model. It came with kit kat 4.4.2 and i aplied PurpleDrake succesfully. Then I unrooted to upgrade to Lollipop 5. Ver. 20e. And now, I can't root anymore. So I would like to downgrade to Kit Kat 4.4.2 to be able to root again with PurpleDrake to recover my root privileges, especially to manage apps and their writing to the external sd card.
Thanks very much for your help!
To get the exact suffix required use this website
http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=IMEI
Replace IMEI with your imei then press enter. Then post your suffix
It looks like if it were the same KDZ already installed... : FW9BRPVE022NAX045560S86/D85520E_00.kdz ??? What I need is the Kit Kat version 4.4.2 10x(a,b,c,...) to downgrade from this one (20e) and be able to root again the phone. I probably have explained myself wrong. Any idea?
And thanks for your efforts, by the way!

[Q] Secure Booting Error

Hello!
I have just rooted my G3, and I thought I'd also flash custom recovery and unlock bootloader with Bump. However when I did that, and phone attempted to reboot, it doesn't boot and says "secure booting error". I know there had been many questions around this topic, but non had helped me. What is the easiest way to "undo" this? Unbricking? Unrooting?
Thanks for patience and help!
The easiest way is to use the kdz tool, you can follow this tutorial here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089

I don't know what does TOT stand for and personally I use the kds method, I think its the easiest.
You can download KDZ from here: http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda/LG+G3/Stock/
Kdz for the D855 on lollipop here: http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda/LG+G3/Stock/Lollipop+5.0/D855/
And just to let you know, bump only work on kitkat, so if you want to use bump you need to downgrade to kitkat before using it, otherwise you get this error

The letter after is the OS version, so for example if you watch the D855 lollipop folder you have:
D85519C
D85519H
D85520A
D85520H <-- This is the most recent
The higher the number and letter is, the newest the software is.
And if the name start with D855***, your device is compatible.
Hope this help, if you have any other question, don't hesitate

It reset your phone, reinstall everything on it (Bootloader, OS, recovery, etc..)

Used Kingroot and replaced it with SuperSU, device now stuck in bootloop (D855)

Like I said in the title, I rooted my device with Kingroot and then replaced with with SuperSU via SuperSU-me.
When I opened SuperSU it told me it needed to update binaries(?), after I allowed it, it said I should restart the device. I did that and now it's stuck in bootloop.
Tried reseting it to factory settings with recovery mode but it's not helping.
Phone was on stock LG Lollipop if that makes any difference

Here is a link to the right page: http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda/LG+G3/Stock/D855/D855+TOTs/
You will need to download the right file for your region and gigabyte amount.
You'll be able to identify the one you need by looking at the file names. (As an example, if you live in Europe you would download "LGD855AT-V10e-EUR-32G.zip").
You will also need to download the .dll from the bottom of the list.
I hope this helps.

Ok, according to http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/psa-warning-try-to-downgrade-g4-t3197675 (bottom of first post) you can safely downgrade h811 from 20i to 10n

Things to consider:
Windows 10 may not work. I tried for over a day trying to backup my stock system.img using Windows 10 until some guy from another forum told me Windows 10 was probably having incompatibilities with the drivers.
Rooting. I had to make a VirtualBox virtual machine running the last version of Ubuntu (Took me 10 mins in total -downloading-setting the VM) but I also downloaded the files directly to Windows and copied them to Ubuntu. When I was rooting Ubuntu was missing files that were not compatible to copy & paste from Windows to the Ubuntu VM. So download the root_inject files directly to Ubuntu.

Yup that is the low effort root. That one is good when you have a stock room available, in your case V10N.
I went with the Ubuntu one because the version my carrier installed seems to work pretty good so I just needed root and had to do the 3 step rooting method with Ubuntu.
Enjoy!

The only flashing method that has ever worked for me when my phone was bricked along with Corrupted recovery is the .TOT method. And that I'm afraid is the one from where you have to start all over from Out of the box experience with 4.4 Kitkat. If the LGFlashTool2014 does not work for you, I recommend the LGFlashtoolv1.8.1 + the crack. It will not ask you for the KDZ and should allow you to downgrade without any hassle.
There are 2 things you will need:
LGD851AT-01-V10c.zip & LGFLASHv160.dll
This will point you in the right direction. Just scroll down to the text where it says "2014 TOT Method (Old/Outdated)"

Good luck

Solution to LGUP LG G3 unknown
While an old thread, it'll be found in searches. For anybody who gets "UNKNOWN" device with LGUP for the LG G3, I found that LGUP for the G3 is often distributed with the wrong DLL file. See the details here, post #11.

LGUP worked with my LG G3 D851 when I used it as in this tutorial:
