Hi, does anyone have a stock .tar Odin file for the Note 10.1 (2014)? I would sure like one. It would really help if I want to go back to complete stock. I haven't been able to find any Odin files, except for TWRP CR.
Thanks

Last question though, which firmware should I download? The last thing I want is a bricked Note 2. Behind my battery, the spec as follows:
FCC ID: A3lGTN7100
SSN: N7100GSMH
Made in Vietnam

I also have a N7100GSMH. I am looking to put this back to stock firmware to sell it. I am looking at downloading the local region at http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-N7100 but I am not sure what region code is for the US.
hey i got the same question here, right now im on paranoid android root and everything, but if i ever wanted to go back to stock, as far as i have read, the proper way would by just installing the official firmware by odin right? of course after unrooting the phone and getting the flash counter back to 0 right??

hi,
I had a t-mobile phone from the netherlands... I flashed the XXUAME2 stock firmware over it and now my wifi and phone app don't work.
wifi just wont turn on... if I press it... it doesn't lit... it is immediatly turned off again... and if I want to call someone or someone tries to call me... the phone app crashes... black screen... can't do anything for 2 minutes...then the phone starts to flip.
is it because of the firmware? should I try flashing a t-mobile firmware for the netherlands?
HEEEELP PLS been this way for 2 days...
thanks!!
I would definitely flash the firmware for your region. Firmware includes the modem and you need the correct one for where you are.

You need to flash the stock modem/radio image file for the wifi and cellular phone to work again.
Here is the link for the CWM/TWRP or ODIN flashable modem/radio which will give you all the
information and download links for the i9500/i9505 modem/radio flashable files:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192025
Just follow the step by step instructions in the link above and make sure you get the proper file for your phone.
Good luck!

It has to be for your specific device. If it's tmob it should be a tmob firmware.

You need to find out your phone's model #, if you have the i9500, i9505 or the M919 handset.
Which ever handset you have you need to flash the same model's modem/radio image.
You flash the one which matches and is intended for your phones model #.
If your phone is a Samsung galaxy s4 i9505 then you need the modem/radio file for i9505/
Good luck!

You do not need the entire firmware from sammobile, all you need is the modem image and flash it.
If you flash the entire sammobile firmware you will have to re root the phone..............
Check my original reply regarding your issue.
Again, Good luck!

The reason the baseband says XXUAME2 is because you flashed a different firmware ontop of the stock
firmware which came with the phone.........
Again, follow instructions in link below and flash only the modem/radio image for your phone's model #.
(TMOBILE/BELGIUM are NOT a model numbers.)
model numbers are 9500/9505/M919 and so on....... download/flash the proper one for your phone.

The instructions are posted beneath the blue button you clicked that said "Download":

Extract (unzip) the firmware file
Download Odin v3.09
Extract Odin zip-file
Open Odin v3.09
Reboot phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
Click the start button, sit back and wait a few minutes

Hi
So my brother and I installed TWRP and CM 12 on his S4 Mini and he wants to go back to stock S4 Mini rom. I know how to restore the ROM back to stock but I can't seem to find how to restore the stock recovery to the phone? I am downloading the stock ROM now from Sammobile.
Could someone lead me in the right direction as to how and where I can get the stock recovery files?
Thanks
From the stock firmware file extract recovery.img
Then pack that file as tar.md5 and flash it as PDA / AP using odin.

Thanks for your response. Do you have a guide I could follow to do the extraction and then the repacking to a tar.md5?
I am very new to Samsung modding as my phone is a Huawei which is very different.
Thanks

Yes, I know I have to flash for Odin. the issue is that I'm not sure which firmware I have to download haha
You have to download the stock firmware, I use samfirm.js you can use other tools though, when you donwload it, you should see 5 MD5 files, you need only 4 of them, the AP, BL, CP and CSC files. Flash them according to their name using odin.
