Hello,
I renamed by error the file "LGPhone_JB.apk" with Root Explorer and now the message "Unfortunatelly, the process com.android.phone has stopped" is shown in the screen and phone has stopped.
I can access through the computer using the USB conection, but the "system/app" directory where the file is, cannot be seen, only the SD card is accesible.
My phone is an LG F100L (P895) with internal battery.
Is there any thing that can I do instead of flashing the firmware again?
Thank you!

Ok, I'm not sure what the problem is but every time I open ES File Explorer it tells me my SD card is unmounted or not present. However, all my programs installed to the sd card run and if I use Astro file explorer I can access the files on my SD card. Also, If I go to applications and clear data for Es file manager it will run until I reboot my phone and then it will not work again. I've tried unistalling it and reinstalling it and it will run unitl I reboot and I still get the same error. I've searched this forum and on google and have not seen anybody else experiensing the same problem. Does anyone know what's causing this? Thanks.
Nobody has any suggestions?
Try going into settings and unmount your SD and mount it again. Then open ES and try again. If that doesn't work then try the above steps again and uninstall and reinstall ES before opening it.

Try Root Explorer
I was having this problem as well. It occurred after I allowed es to have root access, and then tried to connect my phone to my computer through USB to transfer files. I was however not able to transfer files between my computer because the mass storage button on my phone would not process any function. I resolved this problem by enabling debugging mode, then pressing the mass storage button. After transferring some apks, I disconnected my device to install them. However, as I stated, when I opened es it gave me the "unable to mount SD card" error. The only way to resolve this I found was to go back into es and disable root access. After I did that I was immediately taken to my SD mount.
I fixed the issue by going into application, ES explorer and clicking clear data.
Unfortunately you lose settings, but it saves reinstalling.
nope!!!!
the way to fix this permanently is to go to settings and disable root access.
works perfect!!!!!!! and dont need root access ALL the time lol
SD Card unmounted or not present. Here is the fix:
Android ES File Explorer Error:
SD Card unmounted or not present. Here is the fix:
The path is the problem.
1. Launch ES File Explorer
2. Click on "Menu", "Settings", "Home Directory".
3. Change the path to exactly the following (only the one slash as shown):
mnt/sdcard
4. You may need to refresh by exiting ES File Explorer and re-launching it, or by pushing the home icon in the main program screen.
5. Celebration!

I just got my first Droid cell phone, and was having a problem finding my external flash memory card also.
In ES File Explorer settings, (open program, tap menu pad, elect "Settings"), and then scroll down to "Up to root". Enable "Up to root". This lets you tap the back button all the way to the roo directory of whatever file system you are browsing.
The path to the external flash card is /mnt/sdcard-ext
This means you tap the back pad until you see / as your path up top, then scroll down to "mnt", and select that. Then you scroll down to "sdcard-ext" and tap that. You are now browsing your external sdcard. Add it to favorites, so you don't ahve to do that again!
While I am new to Droid phones, I am not new to Linux. I run it exclusively on everything. Basically, the android operating system is a screwed up version of Linux. Google uses Linux to get the system going, then they make it so you can't run any of the tens of thousands of already finished nifty open source Linux programs, such as LibreOffice, Firefox, Thunderbird, etc...
I've tried a few different file managers and I have the same issue with all of them. If I delete something from a file manager, when I connect to my PC, the file I deleted still shows up on the PC. Also, some files and folders that show up in the file manager don't show up on the PC when the tablet is mounted. Anyone have any idea what's going on?
that is strange...
are you trying to delete ANY file or IMAGE, AUDIO, VIDEO file?...
from external sd card or internal?...
It doesn't matter what type of file. I have no external sd, so it's all from internal. The file manager deletes the file and it doesn't show up in the file manager, but the file still shows when I mount to my PC.
It shows at PC and you can access to file? or it just shows???
by the way... do you have stock rom or custom rom?

Ok. I just tried to open a zip that I had deleted on the tablet with a file manager. It shows in Windows Explorer, but when I double click it, nothing happens. Somehow Windows isn't "refreshing" even when I click refresh. I'm still confused. Sometimes a file shows in the file manager, but not in Windows.
I'm on the stock OTA ICS.
Try clearing Media Storage and Gallery data/cache. Then reboot, the database should then reload.
hi!
Alright so i had my phone was not being recognized by my pc so i updated the driver and all of a sudden i see ALL the files in the SD folder converted into a single file named "WMPinfo.xml". Thankyou in advance!!!!
So I recently found out that I cannot delete the contents within my SD Card, worked before.
I have tried it with the stock file explorer from samsung and ES file explorer. What happens is that I try to delete it, it disappears, then I load up the file manager app again and the files are there!
I can load up these files no problem (video files and everything plays well)
Does anyone know any way to fix it?

Download, " Folder mount" from google play, it will detect a faulty SD card & will fix it, reboot, you will have again a functional Ext. SD Card.

Hey everyone,
I am trying to copy my Titanium Backup files from internal storage to my computer's hard disk. I plug my VS9854G to my USB2 port and it links up (MTP), fine. I can select the files in the TB directory but when I "paste" them in a directory on my computer I keep getting an error message "error copying files or folder" about 8 files into the copy process and displays a dialog box (error copying files or folders), and it quites.
Is this a long-file-name issue or linux-to-windows device storage, or permissions types issue? Anyone having this issue. I know it is something right in front of me I am just missing.
tom
i had the same problem. solved it with making a zip archive on the phone from the titanium folder and transfer this to pc.
Thanks for the reply
Many thanks but to tell you the truth I was able to do to CMD/DOS and use "Xcopy"".....it's gotta be permissions?
