I have been working on this app for the past week and it is finally ready for release! It needs some cleaning up and a couple more features, but it is fully working as is. I had no experience with java or android app development before creating this. I am currently taking Computer Science at school and learning C++

Will I get LTE on my carrier?
This can enable Band 4 LTE on the nexus 4. T-Mobile in the USA uses this for their entire current LTE network. AT&T in US uses it in select locations. Various carriers in Canada and Mexico are also using Band 4. Check the link above for your carrier.
Looks nice, man. I've already got an LTE modem installed, but will be handy for going back to stock.

What do you guys think I should do something like this http://puu.sh/6iywW.png ? Or just leave just the 3 tabs , without the left drawer. I can put the Phone info menu (*#*#4636#*#*) in the overflow menu(top 3 tabs) along with about instead of the left drawer. Idk if its really needed
Edit: Or this maybe http://puu.sh/6iyQN.png , I think this might be the better option ?
Three tabs + overflow menu is fine. However, if you go with the left menu I'd say put everything in it & get rid of the overflow menu.

Nice app idea but unfortunately it did not work, tried enabling LTE and my phone froze and after a couple of minutes the app stop responding and it closed, same thing happened when I tried to flash hybrid radio, waited 5 minutes and never rebooted never flashed

Everything works fine for me on CNA ROM with Supersu installed. Do you have SuperSU and busybox?(most roms have busybox installed)
Depending on your data speed it could take awhile to download the 20MB modem.zip. I am going to be adding a download progress bar soon.
Anyone else having any issues?
I did find a "bug" that prevents the 'Enable LTE' button to actually work on ROMs with Selinux enforcing (CM and I believe stock). It is fixed and I will be releasing beta 2 soon.

The makers of BusyBox, Superuser, Solid Explorer and OTAUpdater for allowing me to include their apps in this ROM.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please let me know!
Flash with care! This ROM has been tested and should not brick or harm your device, however I am not to be held responible if it does!
You should probably credit anyone responsible for the extras so that this thread isn't closed.
And what extras are added? I'd love to an AOSP ROM with a power widget in the notification area.

Like butta!
I kind of miss some of the CM mods of CM10, but still. It's a great looking rom so far and there's no jitter or lag which was pervasive in CM. Nice work! I'll be looking for your updates for sure!
I think my only request would be the toggles in the notification drawer and a battery percentage mod. That being said, I'm sure I can find the latter around here somewhere.
Cheers!

I will add the battery percentage mod to my list!
Toggles looks like it might be hard to find out how to incorporate. I might just have to grab the CM 10 code and try to pull out the pieces that are related unless someone knows where there is a good tutorial.
I've been having problems with the native tethering (either USB or WiFi, but particularly the wireless) with any of the JB roms....this one doesn't seem any different for me....otherwise, seemed like a pretty smooth ROM.

Especially when hopping from old base to new base you can easily see the low level changes.

Well that was good timing! I just flashed UltimaSense and saw there was no wifi and this one just popped up before I was headed back into recovery. Sweet. Just installed, seems pretty snappy. I flashed Int2ext+ right after the ROM and it hung at the boot screen, but tried a battery pull and it booted fine.

Probably didn't wait long enough It's working fine now after reboot. If I reinstall, I'll give it more time. It definitely is snappy, liking it. Only thing I've noticed so far is that the camera is acting a little flaky with some screen corruption. I'm not used to Google Now, but there is something going on between it and Voice Search as I can't issue voice command searches - something's failing there. I need to swap ESN's with another phone later on to check data - will comment on that and battery in a few days.
OK, and as far as voice goes... there's no gapos that actually has working voice .-.

I found an even lighter gapps package that didn't have voice search in it, so I installed voice search from market and changed by browser and am satisfied with that.
I had to revert back to a GB backup to set up my carrier because I guess there's no programming options in JB like EPST? Anyhow I did my settings and came back to this ROM. I get constant roaming indicator (I have correct PRL installed) and there is no data icons displaying - I can make and receive calls and have 3G data working. I had to hack the Mms.apk to get MMS to work with my carrier so I can send and receive MMS, but can't send pics - still working on that.

PagePlus, it's a Verizon MVNO. MMS is a constant issue, nothing to do with your ROM. I have it working in GB, I just tweaked some XML files on the stock app in this ROM to get it sending and receiving, just not able to send pics. I may have to adjust my APN xml too.

Yeah, I did that and also tried changing the eri.xml in the framework-res.apk to Verizon (I'm on their towers) but I still can't get the indicators to respond - still showing that I'm roaming and not getting data indication. I'll do some googling. Got MMS pics to work, just not with the stock app.

Instructions
1. wipe data (if coming from ANY other rom)
2. wipe cache
3. flash ROM
4. flash GApps
5. let phone sit for a few minutes once booted to settle (a lot is done on first boot)
Keep in mind that the first boot can take up to 10 minutes and may seem to hang on either the Google logo or the Boot Animation. Just give it time, it will boot.

Tried to download from laptop and phone..I only get about 8%than it stops..
Uodate:use the mirrors from goo.im to get a fast download.
Im about to flash this.
update 2;booted in about 1 minute, call and text work, mms just hangs,it took me about 5 minutes to actually get data to connect.i got 4g for the 1st time ever in my house.need sprint diagnostics from brd if you want to tweak anything.no boot loops so far seems rather respsonsive.well know you need a few days to figure out if this is a daily driver.my 30 or so minutes is not enough confirm how stable it may or not be....it works currently.i like it..good job.thanks jake day

Interesting, I must have screwed up my build for toroplus. I'll look into it tonight/tomorrow and see what happened. Just to note, I don't have a toroplus to test with.
If you see anything else before I get a chance to look, please let me know!

Not sure how this came about, jake the original creator of this build has 3 versions up on goo.im
This ROM has been up on Rootzwiki for a while now. I'm pretty sure it started at v15 then 15.1 and now 15.2. Great strides since then as the first two had some issues booting. I'm really glad to see this here and continuing to improve. This ROM in concept sounds awesome.

It's all good. Just trying to answer your question. :good:
NFC Question
And NFC, this works?
I was bored so I went ahead and flashed this. Aroma installer was extremely thorough with quite a few options. ROM booted quickly and has been running without any significant issue, except...
No 3G/4G data and I can not, for the life of me, find an option to update my data proifle. The settings menu (that I may have chosen during the Aroma installer) is set up a bit differently then stock.
EDIT: For now I will be returning to PA. I do like the overall fit and finish of this ROM and will try it again when I can find a data solution.
Downloading.....

I didn't, but this was a very informal flash. I would have investigated some dialer options if I had planned to run it exclusively.

As thorough as I was in reading the set up instructions I did miss this step. Having to manually set the APN is a first for me and may be for others. You may want to highlight that step in the instructions.
Although I may be the only dummy to miss it...lol.
NFC is not working. Gps being in my backyard 10 minutes .. Connect Thanks for the ROM
After seeing what went down with the other FLEX ROM, I just want to make sure...
1. This is for the LS980, as in it won't disable CDMA/LTE data, or turn the phone into a D80X?
2. It won't require a .tot to get back from?
3. Satan won't eat my cat if I flash this?

I would like to know as well; I remember about a week or so ago, a user who I believe is no longer here (banned from website) uploaded a ROM that was supposedly international ROM for LS980 (sprint versions) of the LG G2 and SOOOOOOO many people bricked their phone. Not saying this is the case by any means at all, but .........(if the shoe fits)
Is this a global ROM? Unlocked for carriers? I have sprint lg g2 I use on T-Mobile. Just wondering if this will still work

Still not an answer.. So that whole hour it took you to come up with that witty comment you could of just provided a simple answer.
From what you typed , I kinda get will work on any carrier? Just simply trying to be absolutely sure before flashing. This definitely isn't my first day in class bro. Just do t want to brink because someone says it might or could possibly work
