[Q] Is it possible that my wireless charging case causes an echo - LG Optimus G Pro

Hi, I have lg optimus g pro e980 stock rooted, which has been running great until now. Recently my callers hear an echo, I hear everything fine on my end. Ive read other posts about cases causing echo's but I have a standard att wireless charging flip cover case, it's never caused an echo before and the case in no way covers my mic which is why i find this strange. But testing it, it would seem if i don't have the case on, my callers do not hear the echo, as soon as I put it on the echo is back. My question is, is it possible that the NFC device inside the case could be causing it, I just want to be certain before I go buy a new cover.

BT800 pulled by Fonejunkie, say due to poor build quality

http://www.fonejunkie.com/jabra-bt800-bluetooth-headset-p-500.html
?? Apart from possible time lag issue for answering call, I thought Jabra BT800 was praised for use with Exec (and XDA IIs) ??
Anyone heard anything to corroborate above?
I'll sell you mine. I used it for the first time today and I think my ear is a little small for it.
I bought it on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5827236759&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEWN:IT&rd=1) just the other day and I had a problem with the cover so I RMA'd it. I received a new one, which is fine, yesterday and used it for the first time today.
I have one as well.
Works very well, but I dont use it, so for a reasonable offer, I can send it with all the bits.
Jabra had a batch though thats all.
>>I had a problem with the cover<< - this may be what the company were referring to.
if by problem with the cover you mean the front cover came off, the same thing happened to the one i brought off of eBay! so i sent it back and got a new one, then the front came off of that when i used it for an hour. I put a bit of glue on the one connecting joint and its been perfect ever since!!
I noticed another strange thing with my BT800.
My customers can hear some of my ringtone when I answer a call via the headset. Now, you may think this is not big deal, but when your ringtone is the song, "I like to move it, move it.", this can be a BAD thing!
I have a Motorola 850 and this isn't an issue.
I thought that MS Voice Command was causing the problem due to the annoucing but it doesn't happen w/ the MoTo 850.
Now, the BT800 is supposed to be upgradable so I'd like to see Jabra put out an update to fool the universal into thinking it's a stereo device. Maybe then Voice Command will work via BT. (That is if my understanding of the problem is correct.)
I just recieved mine today didnt even get out of the box in one piece, faceplate problem again.
What a crock of $hit :x
I think this is a better option than the Jabra BT800. They both have displays and cheaper too:

I would like to see that headset on someones head. See if it looks good. Only thing I dont like is the fact that the OLED screen is on the outside of the headset so everyone can see what number your calling. Though it looks like its a lot better than Jabra.

Treo 700WX verizon internal mic question

I replaced the front and back shell on the 700wx . All went well when trying to take the componets out of the back of the old phone case. The microphone essentailly broke in my hand, BUMMER.. So I re-installed evrything from the old case to the new case with the exception of the microphone.
When completed I Inserted the battery knowing I had no mic. This is the big question. When the phone rings I don't hear the ringer nor will it vibrate.
Does anyone have any experiece with this. With the mic phsically missing does it not complete the ringer circuitry. Or. Did I not assemble something properly? I can play ring tones fine, so I know the speaker works fine.
I have ordered an internal mic hoping that it fixes the problem.
BTW.. Does anyone have any websites that sell 700WX internal parts.
I paid $42.00 I think for a $9.00 part. that a website was selling for a 650P which I hear is not compatible with the 700wx.
Thanks..

LG optimus G microphone problem

is there any site or place where i could purchase a Lg optimus G microphone pcb replacement i think that mine is faulty it does not pick up sounds unless i speak directly in which it picks up sounds perfectly loud and clear but if i talk normally beside my ear it does not really pick up sounds. If any one else can shed some light on this situation it'd be highly appreciated. Also could it just be microphone needs readjustment or something like that internally , im awaiting my T5 Torx screw set which should arrive on monday and i'll take the phone apart then and see.
For noise killing purposes, optimus g has 2 mics.
I believe one of them is dead, so phone cutting your voice cause detecting it as a noise.
Just send the phone to service center
the thing is i bought this phone from overseas korean version and this phone hasnt been released in australia yet and i dont think it's covered under warranty =/. The mic on the top is the noise cancellation and the bottom one is used for calls etc. The bottom mic can work fine if i speak directly at it or close to it i can even make voice commands with google search no problem but if i hold it further away say to my ear like a normal phone call, it hardly picks up my voice and google search doesn't work anymore. if i call some one and use speaker it works fine. i think the microphone usb pcb flex needs replacement or adjustment maybe some dust or something is stuck idk i guess i'll have to see on monday when i can open it up. Im up for any suggestions on resolving this problem so i appreciate all reply's.

AT&T warranty replacements with no wireless charging

I got a Qi sticker and some pucks from Amazon for my original G4, and the wireless charging worked fine. Then it bootlooped, so I got a replacement (they sent me a refurb or course) and on the new phone, wireless charging just refuses to work at all. I called back to complain about that and they sent me another refurb, and wireless charging isn't working on this one either. I haven't changed anything at all but the phone itself. They had me keep my back with the sticker still intact, and of course my same chargers. Anyone else have this issue? I guess I'll call them back again, I'm just tired of fighting with them for yet another refurb phone. The only thing I noticed is a weird clicking noise when I put the phone on the puck. I'm not sure if it did that before or not.
Are there wireless charging contacts on the phone main body? Some OEM versions don't have wireless charging.
If the contacts are there, you could try slipping some paper or electrical tape under the contact pad on the back to raise it a little bit to make better contact. If that does not work maybe the sticker needs to be repositioned to align the contacts. Look carefully at the contact pads on the back - you should be able to see where the metal phone contacts are pressing against it. Everything has to be positioned just right to get both charging and NFC to work...

Yes, they're there. They were there on the first phone and the 2 after. I've tried manipulating the Qi sticker, but the exact same sticker worked fine on the first phone, and then not at all on the next 2. I might try a new sticker, but it's just strange.

I've got a similar issue, but with mine, they changed the mainboard and returned it. Is yours a 602 serial # device or are the refurb units which they sent you 5xx? If 602, I'm curious if part of the "fix" involved completely removing the wireless charging capability. I even tried peeling off the Qi sticker and carefully positioning it over the contacts, then putting the cover back on, just in case maybe it was out of alignment - crazy thought since it worked fine before the bootloop/warranty issue. But that made no difference.

Mine's a 601 serial. I contacted LG directly and they just said "Oh that device doesn't do Qi you need to get the other one" but could never answer why the other one worked fine..

Bluetooth/other

I got my Pixel replacement from the 6P
Whenever I connect to bluetooth in my car,the sound is static whenever I try to make a call or talk on the phone.Sometimes I can't even hear the other person it just sounds like they're mumbling. Anyone have this issue?I'm on complete stock 8.0. But when I hold my phone to talk or use the speaker,it's clear. Music plays fine through Bluetooth car and headphones.
I've contacted Google and they said this is a known issue?
My fiance has the regular size Pixel and she doesn't have this problem at all. She does have a minor problem with not being able to hear on her side when she's talking to someone only while holding the phone though. They just sound very feint.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
I only have BT problems when the two horizontal bands on each side of the glass are covered. If i touch those with my hands my BT will become super distorted and cut in and out. I even had a cheaper case with "aluminum in the build for superior protection" that caused bad problems. so, maybe check for those.
