Yikes buddy I had this issue and it kept me up for hours.
It didn't work with Windows 8, the drivers don't work properly so had to go back to Windows 7.
Followed these directions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2302660
HOWEVER I used a newer stock image from (includes the Value Bundle stuff): http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda/LG+Optimus+G+Pro/Stock/AT&T/
As long as you follow these instructions to the T it will work fine.

Updating Wind Mobile Galaxy Nexus

Can someone show me how to manually update my Wind MObile Galaxy nexus (which is stuck on 4.0.1) to 4.0.4 manually; unrooted and locked phone
and intend to keep it that way
Thanks
Set up your drivers.
Download the stock images from here: https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#yakju
Unlock bootloader (wipes your device, backup first if you need to).
Flash them (guides all over here).
More info in here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1529058 if you need help with setting up ADB/drivers or the commands to unlock/flash.

[Q] Need 1747 4.1.1 Stock Rom to downgrade

I'm trying to unlock my at&t S3 to work on T-mobile, however every link I've tried seems to be dead.
I need the 1747 4.1.1 Stock Rom so I can downgrade and proceed with the following tutorial (http://www.cellphoneunlockbuddy.com/sample-page/)
Also side question:
My MTP is failing to install on my drivers. Is there a reason for this??
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1968625
Not sure about the stock rom, but in the case of the drivers, put your phone into download mode (VolDown+Power+Home) and connect it to your PC. This trick always works if for some reason your computer doesn't recognize your phone

I don't get it. I unlocked my phone the free way on a ROM that was running 4.1.2 (Intergalactic 3.0)

No idea. I was trying to flash back to stock a bit ago and all the sticky links were dead. Another user provided that link where 4.1.1 was dead too but I ended up flashing that 4.0.4 and OTAing to 4.1.2. Looks like 4.1.1 is up again though.

Oh cool, if not there was a post under General IIRC, that was a full unroot return to 4.1.1 that seems to always work

Back to stock for ls980 sprint

Since I wiped all my data and was able to flash a custom rom, how do I get back to stock?
I saw a thread for all the other variants on this but not one specific for sprint.

And I don't see sprint DLL or tot file. Can you point me to the download?

Do you mind if i make a thread in the sprint android development forum and link your server for easy access? Also I noticed download speeds are in the 100KB/sec. Is this because the server is getting hammered hard by downloads?

Is it possible for someone to make a nandroid backup of their stock ROM, then post a DL link?
Then we could just DL the backup, manually copy it to our phone to the proper folder, and restore it through TWRP or CWM. Does that work?
I've never tried but it seems much more simple! Sorry in advance if that is a stupid idea and doesn't work. If not, explain why!

No that doesn't work because you can't make a backup in TWRP or CWM of the stock based ROM when you are unrooted since if you are unrooted you can't flash TWRP or CWM. The earliest you can make a nandroid backup is right after you root and flash TWRP recovery.
When you do an OTA, the Sprint stock OTA update looks for valid files in certain directories that the root method might have changed and any certificates might be invalid so it doesn't install. That is why some folks who rooted and then do the OTA and the OTA install fails and they get bootlooped. This is why they say if you are rooted, do NOT take the OTA update. If you must, like in the case of Verizon you should take the OTA first when you are unrooted, let it install and then root.
Thanks for responding!

is there a flashable stock image? i had made a backup in twrp but somehow accidentally wiped everything including sdcard when i was wiping.
Am asking because I thought that the zip file we all downloaded could be flash via recovery and not just the flash tool?

[HELP] failing on stock install tried nearly everything

tried to unroot kept failing pressed re-partion and reset time and also tried a usb 2.0 instead of 3.0
model should be SGH-m919 as im in america and use t-mobile and in the download screen its red SGH-M919..
i had issues rooting it a while back with it showing that it failed every attempt i forget which odin i used and root file but it eventually worked after using an older version of odin... it seems random.
Im trying to make it non-void so no rootkit and i know the rest [just need it set back to factory default!]
maybe updated drivers for my windows?
maybe its my windows 8.1 but i last did this on windows 8 [both x64]
Thanks in advance im sure ill find the proper fix for this issue here.

On this note, if you have updated to Android 4.3 and are trying to flash back to 4.2, it won't work. You'd need a stock 4.3 image to flash in Odin.
I don't know if this is what your problem is, but I do know that a lot of people have run into this road block triyng to do exactly this.

I accidentally flashed a ROM that was intended for my nexus 7 on it and now it just boots and says: (750)fastboot mode started. I made 2 backups thank god. 1 is on my PC and the other is on my phone. Is there a way to flash my backup via fastboot?

Flash it back to stock. You're going to lose all data on the phone. At this point I think it's your only option. See if you can get into download mode. Turn it off, hold down volume up and plug it into your computer via USB. Then do all the stuff in that thread.
edit: beaten by 1 minute!
There is no way to OVERstate how lucky you are that it didn't just hard brick. I accidentally mis-flashed on my G3 and it just died.

Did you replace the MegaLock.dll per the instructions? It shouldn't ask for a password. Then again, I think I selected the 3rd option for country.
hope this helps
Sorry to hear that. Download LG Flash tool 2014. (Find instructions on xda on how to use it... Super easy)
Enter this link followed by your imei at the end of the link with no spaces.(youll find it on your phones box)
smg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=
The link will look like an error message, but will include another link to your most current firmware kdz format, enter it, it will start the download.
Put the phone in download mode.
Take the kdz file put it in LG Flash tool 2014 and follow the on screen instructions. It should take 5 min.
