Does this phone have FM radio. i dont see any FM radio application that came with the device.
GSM arena says that it has FM>> http://www.gsmarena.com/lg_nitro_hd-4329.php
It doesn't come with FM radio (app) stock. Don't know if the chipset in it supports it though.
No fm radio in the Canadian version.

Hello everyone,
So here's my situation...my gf bought me a 1 year old DHD last thursday and when she tried the phone when her FIDO sim and stock software everything went fine...
Friday i learned on this forum about rooting and rom flashing. I had fun with Jellytime or Sabsa just experiencing the phone.
BTW i used ace hack so i have clockwork, and i remember that the software asked me to download a file called P98IMG cause i had to downgrade following the info i found. But as i am a 3 day noob...don't expect anything for now...(i read the ace hack manual)
I thing i've learned alot in the last few days, so here's my conclusion...i ****ed up something with the antenna...stuff like that
I'm trying to figure out about antenna+rils+ruu...(what's a RUU??)
My actual antenna number from bootloader is : 26.10.04.03_M
Now the phone is in Montreal (sorry for my english) and i just got the phone swap @ the store with a new simcard...but no signal
so i tried my gf simcard from fido and i got a very low signal on/off for a couple of minute and pouf!! nothing...

Here's the detail of HTC sync : current system firmware 1.14.401.1 CL92876 release-keys
maybe it can help...
The euro dhd uses different frequencies for 3g than that of north America (Europe 900/2100 , NA 850/1900)
Normally in this scenario the phone would fallback to GSM(edge/2g) signals BUT bell and telus don't have a GSM network to fall back on. Its only hspa. So if you don't get 3g then no service for you(with this phone). Unfortunately their is nothing you can do outside of getting a different phone(Nam desire HD or other campatible phone) or switching carriers though you would be stuck on 2g
Regarding the FM radio in the Zenfone 2, does anyone know if the FM receiver is capable of receiving different bandwidths than that which it is set to do so? The reason I ask is because FM radio here in Japan operates on lower bands (76 - 90 MHz) than those accessible in the phone's FM Radio app. Therefore I am wondering if the bandwidths could be changed by changing some config file values, or if they are limited by the hardware.
Within the FM Radio app, in the top right corner of screen there is a menu for Band Selection. There are four choices; Default, Europe, America, & Japan.
Sincerely,

Thank you! I really should have found that by myself! I'm very happy to now have working radio on my phone (well, actually I don't listen to Japanese radio, but should say my wife will be happy).
RN8P is preload with EEA variant V11.0.3.0.PGGEUXM, and recently update to V11.0.2.0.QGGEUXM.
FM radio frequency range is set to 87.5 to 108 MHz.
I'm based in Japan, so FM radio broadcast frequency range is 76 to 95 MHz.
So any chance to change the frequency range setting ?
Do flashing to Global variant make frequency change possible ?
Thak you.
Hi guys, I got a k30 5g 128gb and on gsmarena it says it has fm radio built in, but I can't make it work for some reason, installing radio apps only shows online stations. What am I missing here?
