Just noticed what looks to be a dead pixel on my GPE, I am running an app now that claims it can possibly fix the issue.

If this doesnt work, do I just need to RMA?
Also, how do I lock, uninstall TWRP and unroot?

Anyone install the new update for at&t? Just saw it today. About 18mb big

I am sorry, I don't have any info on that update, but I was thinking you could answer a quick question for me? Do you have the carhome app installed on your phone. The reason I ask is if you do, I was hoping if your rooted that you could post it here. It looks as if the optimus g has an updated version from Google's original that doesn't work properly on 4.0+ devices.
Thanks for your help.

I just did. Something about some Google security fix and touch screen sensitivity during charging.

Thanks
The demo video from Samsung shows recording the screen. I understand that it was disabled. But, has it been added ti any roms? If so how do you use it?

Pretty sure it's not a feature. Not sure why.
Seems like it would be awesome

It could be useful
I haven't tried it, but I remember seeing something in the camcorder saying "self record". I would look around in there. Otherwise, if you're rooted, you can try out Screencast. I haven't used it on the GN2, but worked pretty good on the Evo 4G.
+1 on Screencast. Used it to help another GN2 owner.

I found the self record in the camcorder and it's just the front camera.
yup. thank the mpaa. you night record something of Netflix with this feature. go to jail. if only you could rename this feature "vcr" then I suppose that would solve the legal issues

Looks like there is an update to Google+ today, but it is showing the "not compatible with your device" message, for me at least. Anyone else?
Still stock, not rooted.

Yea Google messed up . It's only for 2.2 users it something lol .
They already know and are fixing though

Yep, looks like it's fixed now.
For a second, I thought the G Pro was being blocked for some reason.
Guess this thread can be closed/deleted.

Hey guys, with this being a Google device and me being rooted, there shouldn't be an issue if say I needed a replacement battery , right?

Nope.Because Google allows you to do that and even they offer you stock image files to flash back to full stock.
There is no flash counter like in Samsung devices.
You are warranty safe go and root it!
Cool. I know Google supported it in the past, I just wanted to make sure they didn't have a change in heart at some point.
