I have a smartphone HTC One V (CDMA) and I want to make it root for installing a different ROM but I can't find the proper drivers, does anybody have a link for getting such drivers?? or help me with a tuto for achieving my goal

hi everybody,
i am new with android i have HTC desire HD when i got it it was 1 month old so it was installed CM7 but because i dont like devices with non original software so i ask someone expert to instal for me the original rom with HTC sense the one which come from factory with desire HD(i know that CM7 maybe is better version and includes new features but i like HTC sense...)
so now i have in software information
android version 2.3.3
HTC sense version 2.1
is that the right one or no??
and if yes is it the latest version from HTC for desire HD (of course i mean the officiel rom) because if i go to settings/software updates/check now it says: there are no updates for your phone.
do i can upgrade my htc sense to the newer version than the one i have? i know that sense 3.0 is not officiel for DHD so are there earlier versions which can be installed on my device or if the sense 3.0 is good can i installed too??

mmm flash over the official RUU the sense 3.0???
u need in a few words a custom rom for it...u can download a pure gingerbread rom rooted, deodexed (for not obtain problems if you themes the rom,etcc..)maded by the OP @seraphic

But i'm deducing,because u have cm 7,that you have your phone already rooted and with CWM recovery installed true? If not browse for "HOW TO ROOT HTC DESIRE HDX" in the xda browser and read it... Its the firt step

okay... the first step that u need to learn and do its
1- if your current version of android its upper than 1.32xx u need to do DOWNGRADE
2-then u need to do ROOT for obtain superuser permissions for total acces to your handset (like any Linux OS)
3-install the CLOCKWORK MOD recovery
4-do RADIO S-OFF & ENG S-OFF + SUPERCID (CID 1111111)if u want to flash any baseband, or another rom diferent of your carrier etc... this step it´s needed..
this 4 steps are in this thread... read and familiarizate with the concepts before flashing....

I have a big problem, I use the One_X+_All-In-One_Kit_v2.3 i did everything step by step then at the end I unlocked the bootlader.
I found a custom rom that is "How to Install Android 4.2.1 AOKP Jelly Bean Custom Rom on HTC One X+" and I try to install this with the CWM/Int., I bought my HTC One X+ from Georgia and HTC One X+ RUS written its box.
Now as a result I think I did sth wrong, and now I cannot start my phone. I read lots of thing, I backup my stable original rom but I cannot recover it because it's placed \0\sdcard\ CWM only can access the one directory. And another problem is I cannot access the usb storage from the computer with USB cable.
I think I loss my phone. Can anybody help me for this critical problem?

Hey Everybody,
Does anybody know of any ROMs for the Chinese version of the HTC One (M8) <M8t> with Google play?
I've tried Android Revolution HD to no avail because I can't get rid of the S-ON. So if anybody knows how to remove S-ON then that would also be hugely useful.
I've read around threads (both in Chinese and English) but not found much but my Chinese isn't great so I might have missed something.
Any help would be great, I'm lost without my Google services!

I've managed to solve this on my own using a soul 2.0 ROM.
I found it on a Chinese Website and now I have a fully running M8t with Google Play and the rest of Google's services :good:

Yeah, I've managed it.
I used this tool for most of the steps.

The only thing I needed was a recovery just for the M8t, not the one included in the toolkit. You can find that here:

And there you have it, rooted.
I couldn't get rid of the S-ON though so I had to find a ROM just for the M8t, not a general one.

You should probably start your own thread your problem has nothing to do with firmware with s-on
