Noticed any Baseband ucubmk6(current) vs UCAMH3 (9/12) and ucamh3 - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

ATT Galaxy Note 2 was on Scott's Cleanrom 1.5 with UCAMH3 (9/12) and ucamh3 modem for the past year. It work in my office even i know the signal was not great. I never look at signal strength cause it was working.
Update to Sky Note Vanilla F1 with the latest modem ucubmk6 over the holiday. I came back to work on this Monday and i have no signal. Moved the phone around I can get signal and when i call myself it doesn't work sometimes.
I am trying to test each modem and get signals strengths now.
Just want to see if anyone have thoughts on what I can do? or your experiences of the modems in questions.

Flash back to the MH3 modem...
I get an extra bar on that vs. MK6....g

Great.. thanks! As for as kernel, okay to run the latest ucubmk6 for 4.3 or matching kernel for MK6?

If using stock TW builds...the stock kernel works fine...
But if AOSP roms or heavily modified TW roms are used...then follow the recommended kernel in the OP...and see which kernel performs best by reviewing the users posts for the rom....g

I am using TW, so i use the latest kernel with ucamh3-modem. Seems to help some. Will keep an eye on it and get different ATT phone to test to compare. Thanks for the tip and have a nice weekend!

Good debloated, close-to-stock ROM?

I'm looking for a ROM that is:
Still actively developed (Bye bye AeonFluxx )
Doesn't have any crazy themes/audio/etc. I want it as close to stock as possible (CleanROM on the Note II is a perfect example)
As stable as possible (stock kernel is fine if that's what it takes)
Typical things like: bloat removed, deodexed, etc
I've been trying to find a good ROM for my wife's Galaxy S III but I've already been through 4 of them and I didn't like them. I'd mention them here but I've forgotten the names. I'd like to hear everyone's suggestion, it would at least give me something to try out. The Development forum has too many ROMs, I just don't know what to try anymore.
Thanks in advance for your help!

yes, dandroid is a good one. also, i747z.
take a look at hyperdrive. it comes loaded with tons of features but whats cool is that, via aroma installer, you can pick exactly what features and such you want installed on the phone. you also have the option of several kernels including the stock one.

If you want stock without the bloat then go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2161667. This is the stock bloated ROM installable via custom recovery but it is deodexed. Then go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1732039. This tool will allow you to debloat those apps you specifically want. It does leave a couple behind (such as AT&T Messaging) so just use Titanium Backup or Root Explorer to clean up whatever is remaining. This will keep it stock without the bloat.

I would not expect too much interest in a kernel that can't be used on this device for TMo service.

First off, you should not even joke about telling someone to flash something they shouldn't. EVER. Some people will take you seriously. Please don't do that...
Second... you and others should realize by now that our M919 can flash 95% of all software items made for the international i9505. M919 is simply the Tmo version of the 9505, as you should know....the hardware is identical. So many people still think they are different phones just because ours say M919. The only catch is you can never flash another carriers modem...it's that simple.
99% of the ROMs from the international i9505 forums and all other carriers...Verizon, AT&T, Sprint etc, run perfectly on our M919....ya just gotta flash a universal kernel directly after flashing the i9505 ROM....ie, Faux or Ktoonez etc. Aside from people who have to have certain Tmo specific software (WiFI calling, visual VM etc)...I have no idea why people are still using the old and outdated MDL firmware.
To the OP...wait for the ROM and kernel to be released in the international forums and then wait again for Faux or Ktoonez to make the kernel universally compatible with multiple variants of the i9505.
Seems there are still peeps out there that think they are stuck to using only Tmo M919 software. I'm surprised more Tmo users are not using the latest and greatest firmware for the i9505. Smearing, camera lag...you name it, was fixed long ago on the international firmware.
My M919 is FLYING with Wanam's 1.2 MF2 ROM, Faux v6m kernel.
@ Hoggles
Thanks for that informative post.
Regarding the WanamLite ROM you installed, is Call Recording operating properly?
Skvalex from CallRecorder asked me to try this
http://galaxys4root.com/t-mobile-ga...i9505attt-mobilecanadianapp2sdcall-recording/
to see if CallRecorder works. It's version 1.1 but I read it may break 4G LTE.
I see the ROM you installed is 1.2 and just wanted to know what your experience was with either the call recording feature native to that ROM, or if you've perhaps tried CallRecorder, and if 4G LTE is working without issue.
@ luckyduck69
The op was just trying to be helpful.
Everyone is learning, and not just on xda, but in life in general.
Hoggles just didn't want the op or anyone else to Bork their new, expensive S4 and was passionate about that.
As we all know, sometimes things are said that are taken literally, and considering their are millions of xda members, there may have been several that would have flashed something they're not supposed to, and have a brick in their hands.
The above is just my observation. Nothing personal

Just thought I'd add a quick statement to that. Yes you can flash AT&T roms to our T999. But unless you consider yourself experienced with the S3 model T999, I would just stick with what we already have here. You can't just flash and have them work 100%. Often there are different tweaks or changes that need to be made.

But at least with the Dandroid ROM, built on S3Rx, you can flash the AT&T Stock MG2 kernel.
Yup, AT&T kernels are compatible with our T999. In fact, some of the custom ones are AT&T kernels just ported over here. At least they were at one time. Haven't looked in a while.

It's like a ghost town around our parts these days. CM 10.2 last updated over a month ago, Jedi longer than that, and no real CM 11 support. I checked out CM support for my previous phone Galaxy s2 and they have CM11 and nightlies. Are we the Jon Snow of the galaxy note 2s?

I flashed AGNi kernel for the n7105 and its very stable and I'm getting all day awesome battery life on 4.3 bootloader and 4.3 rom.
I have not flashed any roms for the n1705 or ATT yet as flashing them needs modem flash and I think has higher risk of bricking or loosing 4g. So untill I see a great tutorial on how to flash n7105 or ATT roms, I'll stick with my stock rooted xposed Note 2.

That's some good information I'll have to try some of those. We're only about 6 months away from (in theory) from the Note 4. I know typically TMO phones get the least amount of attention I wonder what the Dev support for the TMO Note 4 will be
I think there will still be dev for awhile but with each new android update it seems battery life gets worse. With 4.1 I could get 5 hours screen time, with 4.3 I get 3.5 and with 4.4 I get maybe 3

kitkat seems to be lighter and faster. but im speaking purely on the basis of running it from CM and Slim. Plus hopefully the camera bugs will get resolved that are present on KK (not sure if it has been fixed already) when it officially comes out for our devices. It's sad but development has slowed down for our awesome phone But i am running slim weeklys. and im impressed. but it still bugs out on the camera at times which i dont like but besides that its buttery smooth. non of that samsung junk
I 100% agree our phone is awesome the difference between the 2 and 3 isn't that much which is why I didn't upgrade. At the time development was good CM was rocking and now the Note 2 from a Dev perspective is like There is a note 2 TMO? I know you can flash other note 2 roms but I'm not gonna
