I searched amazon a lot but couldnt get a case and screen protector that could be internationally shipped and at a reasonable price. Devicewear ridge was 20 dollars but after shipping it went to 50 because of shipping charges. I am not spending 50 dollars for a case. Any other good alternatives that i can try?
I really need a good case n screen protector for my Nexus 7.
I'd say look around for screen film wholesale and get a neophreen sleeve for a notebook/ebooks like the one for those eee PC's granted its not gonna be the same as a form fitting case but it will keep it protected when your not using it.

Never used Skinomi but zagg is pretty good, used it on my atrix
Never liked zagg, it turns yellow and grungy. I have had them replace it a few times but it sucks that I need to pay shipping on a warranty.
Ive used neither. I have ordered a skinomi in anticipation of getti g my nexus hopefully in the next couple of weeks.

Oh forgot to mention, i usually order a bunch of el cheapos from hong kong. Premium protectors usually do last longer, but if you find some decent cheap ones it can be more economical. I usually get 5 for $4 shipped from hk, and the skinomi i just ordered was $6 for one. Usually 2 or 3 premium ones are $10-$15. Doing the math and usually changing protectors about every 6 weeks id rather buy 10 from hk and that will last the life of the phone.

I've always been a big fan of ZAGG protectors. I have them on most of my devices. They can be a REAL pain to apply, but once you get the hang of it, it's not so bad. I've never had a problem with them. I did screw up an installation once.. was a bit too aggressive with the squeegee, left a bunch of marks, but they were nice enough to ship me a free replacement
This time, I'm trying Skinomi. Mainly because ZAGG now charges a ridiculous shipping fee for Canada ($17 on a 12$ protector!!). Whereas Skinomi ships for free to Canada.

I ordered a Zagg. Also have one on my Vibrant and I'm used to it. Very durable and wipes clean since it does collect smudges easily. Replacement warranty is good, too.

Waiting for the martin fields screen and camera protector. Should be available shortly after the galaxy nexus gets released in Asia (whenever that may be).

Tested zagg before. Lasted less than a month. Hate the feel, hate the orange peel, hate the yellowish color. Bought skinomi and everything was better

I will never buy anything other than Skinomi protectors anymore. They are really easy to set properly and the protection is great. I've used them on 3 Android phones, all from different manufacturers and they work amazingly.
Never tried Zagg since I started using Skinomi first.

I don't really like the rubber feel that comes with skinomi/zagg protectors, although it offers probably the maximum amount of protection you can get with screen protectors
I can definitely vouch for skinomi. i've had it for my last two phones, and i don't think id get any other brand. one think that i didn't even realize i appreciated about their protectors after buying an alternate brand is that they make the screen look really nice. they don't take away or interfere with the color at all. very appreciated. got another brand of screen protector when i first got my gn, and its like it put a matte finish on my screen.
i do swear that next time, if i can find someone to put my screen protector on, i will pay them to do it. i am terrible at it apparently. i have tried ALL the tricks. steam.... steam... you name it.
there was a tiny tiny speck of dust that made a little bubble on the screen, and my skinomi was on a bit crooked and it kept creating bubbles in the corners where my case overlapped. it drove me insane, so i just took it off.
i go commando now. screen looks awesome BTW.

Look on ebay for TPU cases. Most of them are around $5 with free shipping (to the US at least) but they're coming from China so it will take a week or two.

Exactly! Ebay has LOTS of TPU cases for the N7 FHD!! I found a US seller (California to be exact) who has the S line TPU case for $5.58 with free shipping. Cost me a few more dollars than ordering from Shenzen, but this way I'll have it 4 days after ordering instead of 2 weeks(I live just outside Atlanta, Georgia). Ordered it yesterday (Monday) and tracking number has it scheduled for delivery Thursday. Can't wait!! Sucks being so impatient!

There are so many good cases sadly not available in Canada and if they are they are overly priced with shipping. So I have to resort to ebay.
So I'm wondering if anyone has bought the below cases?
Case One - For the price its seems like a good deal, but it has an extra flap that wraps around the back and I think thats going to come in the way when using the tablet.
Case Two - Seems like a copy of the MoKo slim case but it looks good.

I got the new N7 two weeks ago from EEUU, and now, just few days left to spanish release, where I'm from, there's still no portfolio cases available in my country.
I'd like to buy Poetic Slim because I don't feel comfy with leather frame ones at all, I'm touching it every moment when I slide my fingers on the tablet corners, and the MoKo is too expensive now (about 25$ now, I saw days ago at 0.99$.. lol).
I am looking for a folio case at 20 bucks or less shipped which have wake/sleep, slim finish and no frame... and all ebayers wants to cheat me about 15-20$ for 14-21 days shipping plus 15$ for 10$ amazon case (yeah I know stock problems but what a way to speculate), while DBrand "robots" sent the decal I bought from Canada for 3$ and arrived in ONLY 4 DAYS by ordinary mail :silly:
What do you recommend me? Wait till spanish release or try the second 7$'s one which seems like MoKo?

I got a couple cases from eBay. I've already received the S Line TPU case, which I paid less than $4 shipped for. I also won an auction for a white folio case which was around $1.50 with free shipping from China! Not expecting much, but I'll update when I receive it. Today was day 16, an the seller told me 10-20 days. I'm expecting it Tuesday, since Monday is a holiday.

I got my eBaY TPU s-line case today..Purchased it last Aug.29 for $4.99 shipped. its pretty snug and fit very well with all the ports all cut clean.
I like the matte finish with glossy on the back and the textured side of this case. i choose a solid white color than the transparent one. but i hope that this case stay clean and white.
after installing my extremeguard screen protector here it is.

Here ya go, I'll pimp my own thread hahah. I did a few reviews for ridiculously cheap/good deal ebay cases (all have a bunch of pictures). This is if you're into hardcases anyway. If you want softer cases (TPU/Rubber/Gel) meant for drop protection then these ones probably aren't up your alley. They will all work with screen protectors though.
Out of all of them, I recommend the Quicksand cases!!. They've sold so well though that the price has since increased to $1.99 with free shipping.

Have been using the spigen liquid crystal case since launch but it has gone green now and does not look very nice so am looking for a new one and was wondering if the mnml case are worth the 27 dollars +4 dollars shipping as I live in the UK or is there a better option ?
No, not worth the price; severely overpriced and case will loosen up over time if you take it in and out of the case.
Do a search on aliexpress, you can find a lot of ultra slim cases 10th of the price MNML charges.
The mnml case does not loosen up over time. You can find them for 23 bucks on Amazon.. I've had mine on for a bit and it has been my favorite one yet for this phone.
