Hello,
i was wondering if anyone has already bought one of these case bumpers.
Could someone give me a review of the quality ? Or a video of this case ?

So i received today my case after about 8 Days of shipping.
- I actually like the feeling of the case, it is very light because the backside ist just plastic... if it is carbon i dont know , looks like carbon.
- The Bumper on the side is all out of aliminium.
- The smartphone gets bigger but i have still no problems to use it with one hand.
- The HTC fits perfectly inside and on the backside of the cover are on each side rubber which push the curved side of the htc inside so that it fits very tight .
- Also what should be mentioned: All edges are also covered with rubber so that the aluminum is not getting scratched.
- The Power and Vol. Keys are working perfekt.
- Signal Strength with wifi = NO PROBLEMS
- Everything is perfectly coverd, the case also covers fit a small lip the display border !
BAD:
My NON HTC USB Cables don't fit into the case.
The original HTC CABLE FITS!
U cant use the IR Remote ( for me no Problem never used it )
I actually bought it in china for 19€ a german seller on ebay offers it for about 32€ . I wouldnt say that 32€ are worth the case!!!
I bought a CNC BUMPER but its a SurplusWind.. don't know why the call it different.
What other people say it looks blinki... yeah actually it does but not so bad..

i just ordered one of this... when i receive it i will write a review
I have one of these with the silver bumper and black back piece. I can post some pics if you like. I haven't used it much so I don't know how helpful a review from me would be
Hey, I have one. Mine was decent quality no probs. Only problem I've had with it was to realise how can I get the case off and usb/3.5mm jack.
The thing is that you can't just use any headphones with it.
some pictures would be helpfull, headphone jack is not important for me , just using bt in the car.
Charging shuldn't be a problem i think!
So yes review is not so important i already ordered it.
But Pictures would be great!
A High res Video would be also very nice
I was also wondering if the quality of the WiFi Signal is still good Same with the mic while speaking
They look nice but not to sure what it would like. At the moment I'm using 3M Carbon Fibre sticker on the back and front my htc and seems to be doing the job and looks nice
I ordered this one last week: http://www.carbonandco.com/HTC-Carbon-Cover/HTC-One-Carbon-Cover/Carbon-Cover-HTC-One.html
Hope it gets here on Tuesday.
It is 100% carbon fiber, no plastic. I'll take some pics when I have it

Okay sounds good let us know how it fits
Case is serious crap, the detail on the sides make it look blingy, feels bad in the hand, it kills reception, and "carbon fiber" is crap. Also makes the phone super bulky, I took it off less then 5 minutes after I got it.
Case arrived today. It looks sick! Fits perfectly on the One. All openings are well done, I'm still at work, pictures and a review will follow this evening.
I will definitely not send it back, atm I'm still at my otterbox because of the protection in the garage, oil, dirt etc.
Gesendet von meinem HTC One mit Tapatalk
edit.
here it is.
The Case feels and looks incredible, it's exactly like I imagined it to look and feel.
It fits 100%, it has the curved form to fit on the back, every single gap is nicely cut, power button, camera etc.
I have no problem connecting my AKG K540 and some other headphones, i tried a few, including the original inEars.
The power button is a little hard to press now, but it still works, you just have to press more acuratly.
The case is not to high or low at the edges, i hope you can see it at the pictures (link below), i did not crop them, so it is easier to see everything.
The Case comes with an instructions sheet how to apply and how to remove the case from the HTC. At first try it was a bit tricky to get it off again, but when you read the manual its easy. It snaps on perfectly, the two little cuts at the lower third help a lot.
The price is 40€ (~55$) plus 5€ shipping to me, I thinks thats OK for the quality.
I guess that's it.
Oh, the pictures. I uploaded them on my dropbox:

If there are any questions, ask them, I'll try to answer them asap.

Today i received the case and again i want so share some thoughts about it.
(let me say it right here: this is the best case ive seen so far and i can recommend it to everyone that is searching for a very slim case with considerable protection)
ORDER
i ordered the case from Obostore. it took 7 days for shipping...quite good for free international shipping. they also give discount if you order several pieces.
MATERIAL
i expected some regular plastic case but actually it is something i would describe as rubberized plastic.
makes the phone definitively way less slippery.
as far as i can tell it doesn't attract dust.
FIT
it fits perfectly and the cutouts on the side are made well. the phone fits very tight and doesn't move in the case (like in the zenus skin air jacket i reviewed some pages ago)
PROTECTION
if you are searching for an everyday-protection against scratches and some little drops this case should be your choice.
as you can see on the pictures the top and bottom of the phone are not covered by the plastic.
but that doesn't bother me because (unlike the samsung mesh-case) it fully covers the corners of the phone.
so if it drops on flat ground it will be fully protected. (not from great hight of course)
quite hard to explain but i tried to show it to you in the pictures below.
i tilted the phone to 45° and then take a shot that is showing that there is still some space between phone and surface (light coming through).
the camera is also covered very good so no scratches should get on it.
SCREEN PROTECTOR
the case came with a free screen protector from nillkin. i don't have any reference but i think its pretty good.
(although i messed it up by having a little airbubble in the down right corner. my fault.... )
CONCLUSION
this is by far the best case i have seen or used so far.
sure there are some cases with better protection but in my opinion they often add too much bulk and mess with the great look an slimness of the phone.
so i can fully recommend this case to you!
(if you liked this review please show by hitting the thanks-button)
(and sorry again for the bad picture-quality )

I also have one, and am very happy with it, but they seem to have a minor design flaw.
Doesn't really affect the usability of the case, hell, I didn't even notice it until someone on another forum pointed it out, and I doubt I ever would have if they hadn't.
what flaw are you talking about?
(although it may be better if you never tell me )
1 of the sides did not flush well with the phone when facing up.
Looks like the cutting is slightly off will gradual abscess from top going to the bottom.
Its pretty obvious if u see it at an angle.
Only seems to be an issue with the black case
The white one I got seems to fit fine
Sorry, photos aren't very clear

I also have the one in OP but chose red instead of black. I have to say it's pretty awesome. The color looks classy and the case fits just fine.
I like the rubberized texture. Without it, I always felt like the phone was going to slip right off my hand. Now not so much. Plus it almost doesn't add any thickness (I'd say around 1.5 mm at most).
Very happy.
Be careful with unprotective cases, barely there cases and only rear protecting cases

Here it is the white one, after few weeks of usage.
h t t p://imgur.com/a/LnGKp - sorry i can't post links yet (new user)
I have the phone for 2 montsh now, but i have 2 other type of case and using a different one all the time. The first 2 week was fine, no coloration at all, but at the 3rd week the brown coloration happened, which was my pocket. And the funny part is, i am carrying it in my pocket for 40min each (work)day.
The way i imagine this case:
- hard plastic
- soft touch overlay
- some thin protecting layer
No coloration in the first few weeks, but after the ""protecting layer"" wear down, the case started picking up everything. I tried to clean it, no luck.
Lastly, i really don't know what are those pink spots, or where do they came from. (It's not the camera )
I've one of these cases too.
The first thing I did was to use my fingernail to scratch away the NILLKIN words. Took me just 2 min, and I had a perfectly blank back for the case.
How good it fits to the phone? Does this case scratch the phone?
Thanks!
I just received my PDair case from Hong Kong so I thought I'd put up some pictures for you guys.

It's pretty nice. The leather feels good, is slightly cushioned and has a backing that makes the case stiff. Stitching and build quality is excellent and the Nexus fits perfectly.
My first impression was that the phone would easily fall out but it's really snug, you can easily hold the case upside down with the Nexus inside and it will not slide out.
The inside is plastic which was slightly disappointing. Not that I'm worried it will damage the phone but some felt or other soft material would have been nicer.
Oh and the packaging was pretty classy too for a cheap case. Nice box and a free leather key ring which I'll never use but hey, free is good.

http://www.pdair.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=10100000_10000000_11001362&products_id=34165
edit: I've just realised the phone should go in top first. It now fits even better than in the pictures and the headphone /charger jacks are usable. Whoops.
Also I think the interior is a rougher leather, not the plastic I mentioned above.
That looks really really good
got mine today. Fabulous quality, fits perfectly and is quite classy. Matches the GN so well that is hard to think of a better pouch for it. Well spent $33 australian delivered.
Hi, just wondering how long it took to arrive?
Hi guys,
i received this case 2 days ago, shipped from hong kong, bought over amazon. It smelled really strong just after unboxing, so i put it on my balcony for some days. Now it doesnt smell that strong anymore, but its still noticeable. I wonder if you experienced the same? I found some reviews about other pdair cases (like this) bit they say its odorless?
I do not agree with

uhh...yeah, that's a pouch.
Thank you ..I see
Purchased one of these myself - wrote a review on Amazon, which is below:
Case seems to be of decent build quality, fits the phone's basic shape fine.
Sadly, it doesn't seem that any care has been taken in the design of the case. No access is available to the volume buttons in the case, and you can either access the power button *or* the USB/Headphone socket - the power button is always obscured if the USB port is exposed. Also, no consideration of the curve of the phone has been taken into account - the case has been designed to take a flat phone, which is especially pronounced due to the stiff front and back panels of the case. Finally, in the description, "Opens and closes with ease thanks to a magnetic closure press stud" - which is false... and completely irrelevant, as there's nothing to close...
Overall, I'm still happy enough to use the case - it seems like it provides decent protection, though the price is a bit much given the poor design.
I like the look of it.

looks like the sides can stretch a bit do you know if this pouch will fit the galaxy nexus with a tpu case?
I've searched high and low for a case that suited me and my Note and eventually found a very nice case from Tridea on eBay. I received a couple of days ago and think that it looks and performs great. You can find it by searching on Tridea.Essentially it's a hard bumper in a nice sort of faux suede flip case. I went for the gray version.
It's a bit pricey at £25 and it took a couple of weeks to arrive from South Korea but I've yet to see a case that looks anywhere near as good for the money.
I just bought one too! It should arrive within a week, I got the same color as you did. I'm glad you like it, because it makes me more excited to get mine
I wanted this case more than most others but my number one issue with them all is that very few have a cut out for the ear piece!! not even a notch, i want my face oils off the screen and not have to hold the flap back on a call, simple design i would think, sigh.
I love this case, I bought the grey one as well. I do wish it had a hole for the speaker though.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Hmm, the front flap does fold round the back when using it to make calls and even gives a bit more of a better grip on the phone so I'm not that bothered about it not having a notch for the earpiece.
lamou1nr: As far as a hole for the speaker goes, it's got one but I guess you meant the same as Mrglass86.
I like the case because 1) it looks good 2) it's very light 3) it offers good bumper protection with the addition of a cover for the front that also keeps the screen clean. 4) it feels really nice and solid without adding a load of bulk to the phone.
I don't see the fascination with the aluminium bumpers. They don't look as though they'd offer any protection in a drop.
I like some of the Zenus cases (it was either the Tridea or the Zenus Capsule case) but they're expensive and the diary types just seem like a bit of a gimmick - would you really keep your cash and cards in the same case as your Note? Not me!
Until otterbox or a similar maker comes up with a really tough aluminium case I'm happy to stick with the Tridea.
If you fold it too often it will eventually get loose or have lines along the edge. Another issue with all such book-like case is that we cannot use our thumb to operate the phone anymore.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using XDA App
Just ordered it. I hope it'll arrive sooner than expected.
Anybody bought this kind of Tridea case? Available on eBay for $22.

Wow I dont normally like flip cases but this one looks very nice. Not sure if i'll fork out for one as i've already got cases for it but can you guys post pictures when you get it, i'll get a better idea than from the ebay pics
Just thought I'd follow up on my OP. I've been using this case for almost a couple of months. The phone gets a lot of use by me and is constantly being taken in/out of my pockets. I'm happy to say that the case is holding up well. I think that the 'spine' of the cover would be the first part to go since it's the part that gets the most stress.
After two months the fabric along the spine has been smoothed but doesn't look bad, kind of what you'd expect really, it 'weathered'. There is some very thin rubber edging that runs along the edge of the whole case and this has initially split on the spine hinge area but it has only come off in one tiny section. It's hardly noticeable.
The main thing is that it's protected my Note very well. I don't expect a huge lifespan from it (at least the cover) but the bumper around the note will last. I may utilise a bit of gaffer tape to strengthen the spine and you could do this without spoiling the aesthetic if you do it properly. I may also use some rubber spray that I bought from Amazon which is really useful stuff (it coats whatever you spray in a matt rubber coating). One last thing to mention is that some people were bothered that you couldn't get to the volume controls while the case was shut, well you can press the rocker through the spine without any problem so you can use the volume control even with the Note in your pocket. I'll update this if I notice anything further degradation but all-in-all I like this cover a lot still.
My case has also held up reasonably well. It provides great protection. I too had the rubber on the edge ware off but only on the "hinge" of the cover. The only other part that is showing signs of age is the metallic plastic piece that is on the back, it has a few scuffs and a chip. For a flip case this is one of the best.
Bought my case from here: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/330710065235...X:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_3991wt_1185
They have different colors. I got the black one. Not bad for $12 with free shipping.
Took 14 days to arrive in Canada. Item actually shipped from Singapore and not Hong Kong (as it says on the ebay page)
Power button and volume rocker are easy to press. Although you wont feel any feedback from pressing these buttons. Typical of any TPU case.
As you can see, the TPU is textured for improved grip.
Rock Logo above the speaker cut out.
Protects the rear camera! No more worrying when laying your phone on any surface.
Front view with the phone. The TPU case extends all the way to the edge of the screen. You can put the phone face down on a table and it wouldnt touch the screen.
Rear view with the phone. You can still see the HTC logo and Beats Audio logo.
A closer look at the camera protection.
Cut outs are perfect for micro USB port, 3.5mm headphone jack and microphone. However, no cut out for the 5pin at the back.
Took the pic on a wrong angle. Cut out is actually perfect.
It comes with a free screen protector. Its not a perfect fit. The sides wont stick since the screen is curved.
Thanks for checking it out!
Been looking at these too. May treat myself. Thanks for the info

Just ordered a white one, for £6.55 , should have plenty of grip with all those nobbles.
Thanks.
EDIT : No need for a cut out for the 5 pin connector, it`s just about certain you could not use you phone in the dock with the case on anyway.

Thanks for the review and all the pics, looks like a nice case for the price especially with the much needed protection for the camera lens.
Nice review, just what I was after. Cheers.
Ordered same few days ago, still waiting.
Good pictures mate and I agree its a fantastic case.
It is a touch harder then what I expected.
I purchased the clear, and on white from front and sides it hardly looks like a case, more like a halo or clear glow.
Took 9 days to arrive.
Thanks for the kind comments. I have another tpu case coming. I'll update my original post when it arrives.

They don't advertise it as clear, but as "white" on their eBay page, I assume white = clear?

Grip is good, definitely gives a rubbery feel. Same as any tpu case I guess.
You wont get any better protection. Hard cases do not cover the top and bottom parts of the phone. Some even dont have lens protection.

Correct. White = Clear
i just bought one too. hope i won't take so long to arrive in germany
took the black one for my grey phone
Just ordered a white one. Any case that doesn't protect the face isn't worth buying imo.
Thanks for the review
I just ordered the black for my white One X, since it's clear it gives it a nice smoky look.
Ooops thanked you by accident with too many forum threads open, lol!
Hope you post photos now
People with the case, wanted to ask if you think the top front edge could be lower, by the camera?
In the photo you can see that the bottom edge curves round the front of the body further than the top.
Does this affect the protection at all? Basically I have a similar cheaper case but the front is a bit too high and does not protect the edge very well. Thanks
This was not received purposely, my guess is that they packaged up the items and mistakingly sent me somebody elses cause the tracking number they sent me doesn't match what's on the package. I ordered a white carbon fiber battery cover. But I gotta tell ya, this thing is DEAD SEXY! I'm not even mad that I didn't get what I paid for.

Fit and finish:
The finish is beautiful! I'd say the cover is a bit darker than pictured...when I seen it I didn't think gold I though burnt copper. Very nice color and it's accented with the vertical brush marks which makes it look even better. The cherries on top are the chrome trim around the bezel and the chrome trim around the camera/speaker/flash openings. Also, no gaudy "Galaxy S III" name on the back, it has the SAMSUNG logo embossed on the back and it looks like it was machined, polished aluminum. Very nice! Snapping it on to my phone I was impressed at how precise the fit is. The camera is flush with it's opening with the speaker and flash recessed and looking nice with the chrome trim surrounding them. The chrome bezel lines up perfectly with the bezel of the front side of the phone and doesn't clash nearly as much as I thought it would, it blends in nicely. The charger port cut out is spot on as is the headphone jack cutout. After I stopped drooling the first thing I noticed is added weight makes the GS3 feel much more substantial and solid. So far so good.
Cases:
The only cases I have right now are a Fosmon S type TPU and an Incipio Silicrylic Dual Pro. Apparently this cover adds a little girth cause the TPU case didn't work out. I got it on but it would not wrap around the screen on both sides, one side would but the other would just reach to the edge of the bezel. No bueno. The Incipio fit, but it's very tight. That being said, case fit will be hit or miss.
Functionality:
One concern was signal interference. Cell signal strength seems uneffected but wifi is weaker by 1 bar at the furthest point in my house from my router. I haven't tested NFC yet but will later on. Mobile data connection hasn't seemed to take a hit, based on the updates I just completed for a few apps. Haven't tested bluetooth yet either. So far any signal degredation is minimal and insignificant.
This is the first time I'm actually happy the company messed up my order!
I've been wanting to snag one of these, thanks for the write up!

My bad
The black aluminium back cover I have seems to be killing signal pretty badly, or I'm getting really unlucky after my water incident.
