Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!
Thanks alot for your hardwork
It worked for me... I'm using E988 UAE firmware.
Method:
From 4.4.2 I downgraded to 4.1.2 and then I ROOTED and installed FreeGee TWRP recovery,
then installed Flashify and flashed the IMG.
I also tried the flashable zip but I keep getting "certification verify" on boot and finally, I decided to try the Flashify thingy..
After all day screwing my phone, softbricked it like 5 times, now its working with cm 11 installed and twrp 2.8.1.0
Thanks,

Does FreeGee work on LGOG Pro Stock KitKat 4.4 version? I want to install TWRP Recovery.
Or should I try with Flashify?
What should I do??
Thanks!
Hey.. Ive reas various conflicting posts regarding this but the one that worked on my Ogp was installing the g pro recovery then installing the kitkat recovery which installs cwm touch then u download the modified twrp which is i think 2.8.0.1 and then install that using flashify. That should work.

I see. I read too, lots of softbrick experiences.
When u say "Installing the G Pro recovery", do u mean that? - http://forum.xda-developers.com/opt...ecovery-boot-unlock-install-recovery-t3054295
Do u know about this new procedure that should make recovery work, even with Stock KK 4.4? Does it work?
Thank you!

Yes just install busybox in the busybox app, dont just download and install the app. Then freegee will work and you can use twrp from freegee. I always use twrp.

I have TWRP 2.6.3.0, and it is not able to read my external SD card. Can this one do that? also, is it possible to upgrade the TWRP from recovery mode by using ADB sideload? (in case of boot failure/softbrick/no OS)

if you have F240X then this one can't recognize your SDcard, but ADB sideload is working.
You can try this recovery, it can recognize your SDcard but adb sideload doesn't work on my F240L

Are you on lollipop or kitkat? The last time i heard Freegee doesn't work on Kitkat and Lollipop.
It works on only jelly bean.

Hello, autorec for g3 exists only for 5.0.x
however the right way would be:
1. download twrp manager from playstore
2. flash twrp using twrp manager
OR
1. download flashify from playstore
2. download twrp foe d850, extract the zip
3. inside the extracted files there is recovery.img, flash it using flashify
use quickboot to reboot to recovery
note that these ways are only for 4.4.2
you´re welcome, there will be new users who also aren´t familiar with the procedure and you can point them to the right direction, too.
Cheers

I am assuming your phone is already rooted.
1. Download Flashify from playstore.
2. Download TWRP from here and install with flashify.
3. Boot into TWRP recovery and install bumped update, download here
4. Follow instructions to install fulmics here
I installed fulmics 5.0 and installed the OTA 5.3 update but im planning to install the 6.0 update as well.
