i wanted to ask u If there is any possibility that samsung service will replace this silver border cuz the silver lacquer is spalling :<

+1, my silver border round my phone is all chipped and makes my phone look rubbish, would be nice to have it replaced

Generally it should be possible cuz my classmate has galaxy s4 and he had same problem as we do. They replaced the old cover for the new one. (just get this info). During the next week ill go to service to ask them then ill give u info here

nothing lol, just that silver border on my phone is covered in my phone cover^^
Well, im coming back from samsung point right now. They told me that its mechanical issue and they arent going to repair/replace my borded :/ It seems that warrany doesnt cover our cover ( ), atleast not in Poland.

Hi, I have just bought new original case for Galaxy 3 ,and I ve got a problem with the front part of case ... I cant get the old one down from the phone ... I unscrewed all six screws but havent still havent managed to get it down ... Any advice ? Thanks

Hinges..
I have never opened the case but from what I see, there a few hinges here and there(2 at the bottom part of the phone) which maybe on lifting a little will release the front case. If you have opened all the screws, then the only thing that would be keeping the case in place would be the hinges.
Don't push hard... and still if you can't, then take it to a service center.
Btw how much did it cost you? I am also planning of getting one.

I think link wont help you much,cause Its Czech eshop working only in Czech republic ( and its in Czech language ). And actually I cant find link for it now,but as I say,its about 10 Euro and I think you can find it on ebay.

How`s the case? Are you happy for changing it? Have you changed it by yourself?
Yo u cannot remove the front part. It's glued to the screen. The screen and the all come attached heavily with glue or something line that. Watch the I-fixit videos pink YouTube. They will give you as idea how to dismantle it.

If you are in warranty period then give it to service center
I konw there is a similar thread but its not for India, so started one for careless GY users like me in India
The external condition of phone is very poor because I never used a case for more than two days

Well you can buy it from the largest piracy market in asia... Nehru Place in New Delhi. I get such things from there.

and rhe digitizer is 850 more

I finally decided to buy the Xperia ZL here in germany for 440€
I saw it on androidauthority and screamed loudly OMG THATS SEXY!
Well i dont wanna hide the sexiness of the ZL and i dont wanna let it unprotected from all those dangorous things out there..
Ive searched for a transparent case and found some but those are not clear its like fog or frosted glass (?)
It doesnt matter from where i buy them.

I've bought the Imak transparent case. It looks great. The only thing I dislike is the fact that any minor scratch
is visible on the case.
So long time ago my defy got bricked while flashing..cos defy sipped all the juice and it got empty while flashing. I gave it for service no one could repair it.
Now I got a defy where only mother board works for approximately 13$ . Changed the motherboard , buttons, display and the back half myself and revived my defy.
Now I'm back to play with my defy even though I have xperia z, I simply love my defy cos
"Phones are meant to be smaller"
I cant text comfortably with such a big screen in my xperia z.
Defy is a great device. I realize "old is gold"

but that's like saying no one should ever buy or use secondhand goods since you don't know what the previous owners had used it for any illegal activities? for examples, the secondhand car you bought could have been used for robberies, weapons used for murders, etc?
Its a kind of risk... u can preserve the ebay purchase paper for safety thats the only way out...

+1. how many smartphones out there besides motorola have multi-colour LED letting you know, without turning on the screen, if you have missed calls or messages etc? none to my knowledge anyway
and on top of that, water resist, dust proof, scratch resistance guerilla glass screen, and just the right size for a phone.....love it......not changing it for a long time yet.......unless it dies

You are absolutely right with old is gold.
I was searching for an alternative quit for some time but all other ip67 phones are either almost with the same cpu and mem or have a display like an half laptop....
And now with cm10.2 the defy rocks and is fast!
