WIP [ROM] MIUI V5 for LG Optimus G Pro

Hi All,
Trying to port MIUI V5 to our great device.........
I have some knowledge and skills, but it is not enough I guess.......
Initilly rom was not booting at all....... Now its stuck at the MI logo:crying:. Posting this here because I cannot post in the dev forums yet. Any help is appreciated. Especially if you are an experienced dev, please look into this...... Many of us will be benefited from this.......
Here is the link to my work...... The base is the official CM 10.2 nightly build. and the MIUI is from the Oppo Find 5.

After reading numerous tutorials I have got this far. Wont have mutch time in the coming week...... Office and all.....
so, any Dev looking at this, feel free to take over...........

well, it seems none of the devs are interested in MIUI. Bummer..............................

Its the Best rom. I hope in a future we will take full functional MIUI =)

I'm not a DEV so i tried to install your rom but not boot in to screen.
Need the DEV to help.

When do you expect to be bootable?

Its not a boot loop, if it was a boot loop it wil boot your phone fully again, but this is more cant boot up, i think its in the framework.jar or service.jar

Please can somebody help me, i was trying to port miui and when i flash it back to stock with the kdz file, it says there is no internal sdcard, knows somebody a solution? Please help me, now i can't download, take pictures.

Do not despair!
Try resetting the flash program (I think KDZ) in the main factory ruins.
He must go. But I think it's XDA forum has unbrick description.

Anyone who want to try MIUI V5 for G Pro, please PM me.

[ROM] F240 Chinese ROMs

I realise there are not much F240 Roms out here in XDA. However in the chinese websites F240 Roms are going like crazy. Sharing a few better ROMS (Defined as Hot in the Chinese Forums) here.

I'm really interested because I'm stuck with the stock rom on my F240L.
Both of your links seems to be the same for the rom "CN MOD ROM V10" and it's said "jb 4.1.2", that's all I understood
is there a "hot chinese rom" on 4.3 or 4.4 ?

They should be different. First one is based in cynogenmod 10. 2nd one is closer to LG stock with Korean app debloated and some Chinese modification.
Currently no 4.3,4.4 rims found yet. If I see one I will post here.
And please don't try on E980 if it's stated f240.

guys I remember once hoangnova revealed that in E975 kk tst versions there was knock on but then they removed it because of incompatibility or something.
I don't remember exactly if he said 19A, 19B or 19C but the first two test versions are available here: http://www.lgbbs.net/thread-498-1-1.html

You know, the money is not a lot but I don't have any paypal access in my country.

ask in g3 forum, in Lollipop threads if they have 10$ for that!
But when i remember, the kernel sources from g2 have knock on, so why not porting it, and then we can use it on custom stock kernels?!

Unlockbootloader using freege with mako unlock and install cwm recovery
Reboot and Flash the zip
Tested on f180L kernel 30B and kernel 30C.

This is the question I have too. Maybe it's too hard. But If in these test versions everything is ready, we'll be able to use the kernel easyly.

Actually knock on and double tap 2 wake are the same thing.
It's better to port from g3 mini, g2 and g3 have screens way to better than ours.

But the one by LG is far better from any other one included in custom kernels. From the resposivity to the tapping speed.
