Hello to all, good night;
I had by mistake flashed thru flashtool a recovery image to my r800i (fastboot flash boot recovery.img)... then at the phone start all that it did was load to CWM. After some reading I flashed a boot.img file from a cm-7.2.0-zeus (cyanogen mod) and were able to load the phone properly, however the splash load screen from the recovery image persists.
I have searched everywhere to find a boot.img from stock R800i_4.0.2.A.0.62_Generic with no luck.
Can someone please point me out how to remove the loading splash screen or share a stock boot.img for testing?
Thanks a lot, Im aware it was a noob mistake.
Best regards.

i flashed a dodgy rom the other day , my phone wont boot in to recovery or boot up (actaull rom) . i can acceas boot loader and fast boot ... i think my custom recovery is corrupt etc ....
any ideas what is the best soultion eg ruu etc
do i need a gold card if i wan to downgrade to 2.2 and i am reverting back to stock telstra(austrlaia)
can you flash via the bootlaoder eg update zip ? are there other ways to install a custom recovery ,i think it's called a p811img.zip or update zip can i just zip and rename a nandroid backup and restore that way ...
if fastboot is working and you believe the recovery is corrupt, just try flashing a correct recovery through adb fastboot?
there's a tutorial on that somewhere on the forum, then you can probably try nandroid recovery if you made a copy previously
Don't search the forums for any fixes, you'll never find any.. making a new thread was totally the right thing to do.
Also, don't look at my guide, it really sucks and there's nothing useful for you on it.
Hey guys, I think i screwed up big time. I have just received my Htc one M8 from rogers (with no bloatware on it .. weird lol ) And i wanted to root it in order to use titanium back up.
So i followed a guide to root the phone everything went well execpt that now my phone boots straight into philz custom recovery....
When i was entering the fastboot commands to flash the recovery to the phone i made a mistake i wrote :
fastboot flash boot recovery.img
instead of
fastboot flash boot recovery recovery.img
....
So my guess is that i have overwritten the boot.img of the phone with the custom recovery which is bad... now i can't use the phone...
Is there a way to flash the stock boot image back? of to restore the phone like it was brand new?
Thanks for you help

Yeah this is what i wanted to do but i couldn't find a boot.img. I did find it eventually. here it is in case anyone needs it
Straight, just saying.
The boot.img is always in the rom....Most roms contain the stock boot.img. or check my backup collection and download the stock rom. It has the stock boot.img inside
Thanks a lot.
So, I was attempting to root my phone(CanvasA1- 4GB) today running stock android marshmallow(6.0.1) , I successfully unlocked the boot loader in fastboot using adb, after which I flashed TWRP recovery, Which was successful but then, When I rebooted into recovery, I saw my old stock google's recovery running , I tried 2-3 more times flashing the recovery in fastboot but the probem was still the same :crying:. Then I came to know that we have to flash a special type of boot img of some 17.5mb approx, When I attempted to flash this "boot" image, I received an error saying file size too large, Hence I couldn't flash it, I am still running the stock recovery, With my bootloader unlocked, I need to root my phone, Please help someone, Thanks in advance .
http://forum.xda-developers.com/cro...-master-tool-unlock-bootloader-t2997696/page1 use this tool and flash custom recovery simple
You can search for Android One Toolkit. Iwas encountering the same problem but this app solved my Problem.
Sorry dont have Link for the Same.
Same here. I unlocked the bootloader successfully and flashed TWRP recovery. But it shows system/default recovery only. Now stuck in bootloop.
Tried clearing cache/date etc. nothing worked. Don't know what to do.
So my phone has been lagging a whole lot using the stock rom and I have decided that I'll try a custom rom to see if that changes anything. So I came here and saw this forum:
I thought I'll try and so I unlocked my bootloader, only to have my phone be reset (not a problem, everything was backed up). It also boots with a warning "Device unlocked and can't be trusted".
Then I went on to download TWRP using this link in that post: "https://mega.nz/#!FQFXCYSY!DgxQRkaY1Eqq3B0fZLEQBNzUs0Zj80L6IzSHxdorQ3A" which is the TWRP 3.3.0.0 V2 IS FOR ALL USERS.
I didn't want to flash in the event it was the wrong recovery so I tried booting into it, fastboot boot recovery.img
It flashed, everything was ok and now the phone doesn't boot. It stayed in a boot loop. I went ahead and flashed recovery this time, no luck. Downloaded a recovery.img from another website and it didn't allow me to boot to android or recovery.
Is there a way to save my phone, I can't get another phone until August due to contract. It can still boot to fastboot and gets stuck when trying to boot to android. It being able to boot to fastboot makes me think theres a chance to flash a stock rom or any custom recovery and rom to get the phone working again. Any help? Thanks!

OK use the boot.img and recovery.img made by @janjan HERE. Under the heading ¨Downloads¨ see ¨Xperia XA1¨ and download the KERNEL + RECOVERY the boot.img and recovery.img are compatible with the G3121-G3112-G3125-G3116-G3123 devices on the applicable firmware.
Flash BOTH using fastboot. The boot.img is patched to allow TWRP to boot which it will never do using the stock boot.
If you wish to go back to stock then simply use FlashTool to flash the stock fotakernel.sin and boot.sin contained in the firmware for your device.
Does it works becouse I boot my g3116 from flashtool camand was
Fastboot boot boot.img and then also it's stuck into bootloader
Hi there, I had a Cyanogen rom since some years and now I tried to go back to the stock rom. I followed this tutorial and flashed recovery.img just fine, but when I press Pwr/Down vol nothing happens, it remains in the "Asus in search of incredible" screen.
I tried flashing every recovery img I could find but it's always the same. I can enter fastboot mode, load any recovery image but that's it, I can't boot into it after that.
Any help will be greatly appreciated..
