I Want to change the working of volume rocker in My Xperia Zl
so that it always work as it is going to change Media Volume
I don't want to use ringtone/notification volume control with my volume rocker keys
Is this Possible that whenever i press volume rocker key It only changes media volume whether i m in home screen or in any app..???
With stock rom this is not possible. Maybe there's a xposed-mod for changing it, but pure stock sadly doesn't have an option like that.

Doesn't work for me, I have 6.2.B.0.200 deodexed, BUT I replaced "android.policy.jar" manually, because there is no CWM for locked BL yet.

Um flash in recovery. Last I heard TWRP wasn't experimental. There is a thread with a lot of users that have it installed.
Or if your rooted, download the zip and extract the file, and go rename your stock one with a .bak after it, and paste new one in. Follow the files in the zip to locate the file, my guess is /system/etc somewhere.

Just to add for CWM. I've been on CWM since CM10.2 came out, and the CM team recommened it. I haven't had any issues at all. I rooted my Note, and went the CWM way, and still working flawless. Just make sure you use the one that is 4.3 compatible (you can find it somewhere in the threads around xda).

Has it increased the volume on the overall device? Like the music app's volume (with earphones/headphones) or just the speaker volume?
Might have to root my phone if this increases the volume in every aspect.

Solved this - culprit was Xperia Xposed by serajr, had to disable Xperia Home customizations and then Restart Home from menu.
iOS has option for this.

Have you considered an Xposed module solution? Requires flashing Wanam Xposed framework installed along with Xposed Installer apk installed.
I just installed and tested this Xposed module on stock rooted OJ6 Odex ROM with Wanam Xposed framework and it works after activation and reboot. Minimal testing so far but seems to work as expected.
