You have got a wifi Tab,for a 3g is that more important.
You can make a image with online nandroid backup from play store.
The other way to use the terminal
su
busybox tar zcvf /storage/extSdCard/efs-backup.tar.gz /efs
that will save the image on your extSdCard

Okay so I rooted my phone yesterday and I installed Root uninstaller Pro. I deleted a few system applications and now I cannot restore those applications even though I have taken backup of the application. What should I do? Will it get restored back if I factory reset my phone? Is there any other way except factory reset?
Sent from my HTC Wildfire S A510e using xda premium
you will have to manually install them back in system/app with a file explorer that uses root privileges. Most the time you can find the apks on the net. If that doesn't work, you'll have to re flash.

Please provide more detailed information of the problem.
What did you use to delete them. (What method)
What did you use to back them up. ""
What ROM are you running?
Are you rooted and S-OFF?
Etc.
Theres some way to 'map' my installed apps to easily re-install after a full wipe???

Download this nexus toolkit and use the backup function.
I won't recommend you to use it to root or install a custom recovery.

TitaniumBackups makes backing up and restoring a breeze! Just don't restore system apps.

Agreed. Better to do it all by yourself.

I wouldn't recommend it to do anything unless you know what it is doing and how it is doing it. The backup function that it is using is easily done yourself. There is a how-to thread in the general section that describes how to use it <-- instead of having a toolkit do it for you.

Hello. I'd like to backup the JellyBeans' Data Usage (the one you can reach from Settings) counters in order to carry them over while flashing ROMs. I tried backupping all system data from Titanium, but then I don't know which one to restore exactly. Can anyone help?
Thanks

I think titanium provide the option to backup data like that, but don't know how to do it manually, of course you will need root access.

Looks like jelly bean includes an "auto sync data" option in the mobile data section, but I don't know if it carries on to custom ROM's or not.

It turned out that Titanium Backup didn't work properly because of a bug. Titanium's team kindly sent me a test version with a bugfix that actually works. So I guess that with the next update we'll be able to backup and restore data usage statistics.
Hey guys,
I'm about to flash my first rom and so far I made a System Data and User App backup using Tintanium.
Now I read somewhere that for Samsungs we need to backup IMEI info as well...Does Titanium do that?
Thanks!

You could backup/restore the efs folder with TWRP or CWM. There's a how to thread somewhere around here.

Hi guys,
I hope this is the right place to put my request.
I recently deleted the 'Files' app from system as i have root access on my OP3.
But now i realized that the app is required to allow write permissions for OTG connected storage devices.
So i kindly request you guys to please upload the app's apk file here.
Your help is much appreciated.
Thanks in advanced and sorry for my bad English.
This is from OOS CB 3.5.3
All system apps have their apk files on system partition (in /system/apps). You can get them with any fine manager with root access.

As i mentioned, I had deleted the app from system partition, so there were no ways to recover it unless i reflash OOS.

I guess I misunderstood then, I thought you just uninstalled it.
You can also extract apps from rom.zip, if you have it somewhere handy.
