Hello All,

After I restarted it the phone start normally but then it shows that earphones are connected which is not the case and after some time the phone restart again. I`m with a stock Rom JDQ39.I9195XXUBMJ7 please someone to give me an idea why this is happening.

Have you tried to take the battery out and wait for at least 10 sec before putting it back in?
Another option is to "tease" the RAM and take out the battery while the phone is on. This should of coarse be a last resort.

[Q] DHD screen turns on with no reason

Hello all,
Since this morning I have a problem with my DHD. When I turn off the screen, it is supposed to stay of until I turn it on again. Since this morning it starts turning itself on over and over again. Everytime I turn off the screen, it switches on in a few seconds. But once it's on it doesn't go off by itself. So I doubt if it is a problem with the on/off switch. What else could it be?
Edit:
This seems not to happen when the phone is connected with an USB cable. Either on my PC or on the regular power charger.

Have you installed anything new at all. Also have you restarted the phone since it began exhibiting this behaviour. Make sure it's a proper restart aswell by turning off fastboot i settings, it's under power settings I believe.
Thanks for your fast reply.
I have not installed anything new since two days ago. And the problem really started this morning. So I guess it is not caused by a program I installed a couple of days ago.
I have indeed restarted my phone. Also turned it off, toke the battery out and waited a couple of minutes (just to make sure it was really really really turned off) but this did not solve the problem.
The thing I find very weird is that it does not happen when the phone is attached to USB...

Maybe USB debugging, or possibly a short on the mini USB connector. What firmware do you have on the phone?
Android 2.3.3
HTC Sense 2.1
I also think it might have something to do with a short in the micro USB connector. Have cleaned when the phone was of. Seems to have solved the problem, but that's only for the past few minutes...

Hopefully, that's the problem solved.
Sent from my HTC Desire HD using XDA Premium App
Darn! The problem still isn't gone. It appears to be less frequent than an hour ago, but the screen still turns on every couple of minutes
This is happening to me as well. The phone screen keeps coming on and then going off after a bit. This and randomly going into car mode and whenever I make or receive calls, the phone speaker is switched on automatically.

Indeed! I just noticed that too. I received a call and my speaker was turned on without me turning it on manual..
Update: my phone stopped switching its screen on automatically, but the problem with the speaker still is not gone.
My DHD has started showing both of these symptoms, ie, switching itself on from standby and the speaker phone being activated on incoming calls .. ever since I upgraded to Android 2.3. I'm not sure if this is something to do with 2.3, the DHD or T-Mobile (my provider) .. or a combination of all 3.
And an app called Car Panel keeps launching ..

I have this problem, too.
Before the last update of my DHD the backlight turns on in standby for some milliseconds. I saw only a short flash in standby.
After my update to version 2.3 this happens everey 7 minutes.
And the backlight is on for about 10 seconds, then turns off for the next 7 minutes.

DHD light off on
I had the same problem going to settings/dock and turning off auto launch and then power setting turning off fast boot appears to work so far

Nexus dead

Hey all,
This is the worst thing ever! My Samsung was working like a charm for the last 1-2 weeks. Then last night I put the Android sleep app on again, same as yesterday, and then it suddenly somewhere died in between then and 6 hours later when I woke up.
- Phone does not wake up anymore
- Phone does not charge anymore
- Connecting USB, wired adapter does not do anything
- Going to bootloader does not work
- Windows does not recognize my phone in my computer anymore
- Screen is black all the time, and no sound is there
What should I do? Can I revive it somehow? Or just send it back to Samsung?
Thnx a lot for ur help guys!
And it is alive again. Unbelievable, but true :/
Full battery etc.
???!!!??? Do not know what happened anyone an idea? ???!!!???
did you tried pull battery?
My phone is doing the same....just decided to break last night...
It unfortunately isn't just working.
This is the code I get in hardware manager:
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
Was there an update recently that might have caused this?
So taking out the SIM and booting seemed to fix it. (I had a mini panic attack for nothing )
I did also try disabling/enabling in the hardware manager; but I can't confirm if that did the trick. It didnt reboot until I pulled the sim out. Strange.
Same here ... my GN, bought in Germany 2 weeks ago, just stopped working and did not reboot until I removed/restored the SIM card and the battery and tried to boot again. Worked.
Thanks for the SIM card hint.
I had first pulled the battery, waited for 10 minutes ... no good
left it charging for 30 minutes ... no good
tried bootloader ... no good
SIM + battery ... switch on worked
I had the same this evening.
After a phone call,I heard a click and the screen was black.
Try to put it on again,no way.
He was not loading too.
Then I pull out the battery, and put it back in.
Then he did it again.
Strange
If this happens again,I bring the phone back, and ask for a new one.
Hey folk, there were many degrees C° when you have found the problem!
It was cold?
I have this problem for me is the cold......At temperatures below 10 ° C, the phone hangs with all the problems described in the first post
i had the same issue last night.
The Nexus worked really fine - 5 minutes later - dead/off.
Charging, removing the battery, removing the sim-card - nothing works.
Then i read this thread and 5 min. later i tried again to remove battery and sim at same time. This worked fine - good.
My Nexus was not cold and we had about 22°C.
I'm not very happy about this.

[Q] Moto 360 keep rebooting

Hi,
(Sorry for my english, I'm French)
I have a problem with my moto 360. I boot it this morning with no problem, the battery was 100%.
After 2 hours, I couldn't turn on the screen, and couldn't do anything, there were no reaction. I waited 5 minutes and the watch has rebooted. Since that moment : the "M" logo stays for some seconds and it keeps rebooting. The only way to stop it is to press the button for 20 seconds.
Any solution ?
Thank's for your help.
I've had a few random reboots today. I think it has something to do with the 5.0 update, although I've seen some strange bugs over the past few days (synced apps disappearing until I re-pair the watch in the Android wear app, etc.
Have you tried popping it back on the charger? The state change may be enough to stop the boot loop...
Same thing is happening to me and it just wont charge, it rebooted a few times and then it just displays the battery icon gets really hot and doesn't charge!

My daughter ran her d851 through the washing machine, and it is fine. There's a guy on youtube that puts his in a bowl of water, turned on, for an hour without any problems. The phone is pretty water resistant.
Bearing that in mind, I'd be more suspicious that your issue lies more with a bad flash than any permanent damage to the phone.
What particular model do you have?
