[Q] Screen wont turn on

I recently opened my phone to fix the power button which wasn't working to well.
The problem is now that I turn on my phone it won't turn on the screen.. I did check that the connector was plugged in, and nothing happened. The phone does vibrate followed by a sound as usual.
Any solution to fix this problem?
Best regards,
DanVazz
You need to get it checked because it is possible that while opening your cell phone, you must have cracked or disassembled some connectors...

[Q] Screen problems

Hello,i bought (lcd+glass) whole new display, my other one was broken. I managed to put on the new display but when i turn on my phone the screen stays black, those 3 buttons at the bottom light up and are working, the phone is on, i can change the volume and stuff. What could be the problem, i have checked the cables. At the start i was checking does the display even works as i connected the one cable and the screen seemed to be working fine it turned on. But after that i have tried and tried a lot of times but now it wont turn on, the phone is working, 3 buttons ar bottom work as i touch them there is vibraton. Does anyone knows what could be the problem?

if everything is working and the cables are ok then the problem must be the screen...maybe you got a defective one

hmm, as i said the screen was working fine at the first 2 times, but then nothing happens the phone is working, those 3 buttons are working aswell, but just the screen. If the screen is faulty then those 3 buttons also shouldnt be working?

[Q] Problems after replacing screen

Hi all,
Today i recieved my 4th display for my one x.
The first one cracked, the second and third display were DOA (Dead spots in digitizer).
I took out the old screen and placed the new one.
Tested the phone before assembling again, and it worked perfectly fine.
Assembled the phone, and the screen didnt turn on, the button lights did though.
Disassembled the phone and it worked.
After assembling another time i couldn't get it to work at all anymore.
When i press my power button, the button lights go on but the screen stays black (it's not only the backlight).
The previous screen doesn't work anymore either.
It's not the connection, and the mainbord looks perfectly fine.
Rebooting the phone doesn't give me a solution either.
Is there anyone who had this problem before / Knows what it could be and how to fix it?
Thanks in advantage!

Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 Screen Backlight Issue??

Good afternoon all, I'm wondering if anyone can help.
My Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 developed an issue with the screen (after travel - where it may have been knocked around a little)...
The tablet boots up fine and the screen appears to work normally.
However once the screen times out and switches off, or the screen is switched off by the power button, it is not possible to get the screen back on.
It appears that it's just the backlight that is not coming back on?.... as the screen responds to touch (you can here the pin code buttons being clicked).... but can't see anything at all on the screen.
Rebooting the tablet from here makes the screen come back on as normal - so as it works like this and just does not come back on after being 'on staandby' I thought it might be a software issue... I did a full factory reset but unfortunately the problem is still exactly the same.
I've had the tablet to bits to see if I could see any cables loose or anything - but everything looks ok - I think (Although it's the first time I've had one apart and wasn't 100% sure which cables were for the screen)
There was nothing obviously disconnected or loose.
Has anyone come across this fault before or can anyone provide any more guidance? Maybe a particular cable to check or how to check it?
Many Thanks,
Tom Leitch
I have the same issue, but I was able to fix it entering the factory mode and pressing the sleep button. That was possible using the calculator and entering (+30012012732+ and then entering *#0*# to get to test mode.
The problem now is that I'm using lineageOS so I don't know how to get to that menu or trigger that sleep button. Anyone?

Lg g3 screen stays black after reboot, but responds to touch

My wife's phone looked completely dead this morning, so I pulled the battery and then rebooted. The led did its usual start up pulse but the screen remained black.
Double tapping to wake, then tapping the centre of the screen where login field is, then tapping where the keyboard is, results in haptic feedback, but the screen never turns on from black.
Tried holding down + power to boot into recovery, but no idea if it works. No response from the screen.
Anything I can try? :crying:

Its the faulty motherboard chipset issue, same as me.
Take the phone apart and place a piece of plastic or something on top of the display ribbon connector underneath the battery. That solved this problem for me.
Seems to occur because the board in the g3 has too much space to flex etc in general usage.
