Docking with HDMI, OTG and charge - One (M7) Accessories

Hi
Does anyone know is it exist? I mean docking station which helps me connect my One to hdmi display and control it via OTG keyboard and mouse (bluetooth is not an option for me). That would be also nice to charge One in the meantime If anyone have and it's working, please let me know. Thanks for your reply! Best regards

1male-2female Splitter

Does no1 else see the need in someone producing a 1male -2female splitter for our phone considering we do not have a seperate hdmi connection. It would be great to use the otg cable along with hdmi. So we can use keyboard and mouse hookup to the tv etc.... Ive looked all over the internet for one and have not come across one yet. So if anyone is capable of making one i will be your first customer. lol
if you notice, on those MHL to HDMI connectors, they all provide a spare microUSB port in the adapter, so that you can continue to hook up more stuff to your phone, and charger your phone
the spare port is for a micro USB power input. the video out display will not work if it isnt plugged in, at least mine won't. Bluetooth controller maybe?
thanks for the replies
I guess i will have either pay someone to make one or wait to see if there will be a demand for it. Thanks again for the replies

Micro usb splitter?

Hi i wonder where i can buy a microusb splitter for my phone so that i can use, both usb keyboard and hdmi cable together. I just tried keyboard+mouse using a usb hub, and it worked fine...
does it even exist?
Sorry, but this can't work. When the phone is putting out HDMI, the USB can't be used as it takes the same connector pins. You can do what you want with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, but sorry, not with wired.
try to find the smallest hub there is, that's the closest you will get to a usb splitter that works. Just splitting will never work, the signals have to be divided with some intelligence.
/edit... never mind didn't read the MHL/HDMI part... don't think that will work
I am also intrested in this topic. I want to plug in the HDMI cable and s remote controler. I want to use my phone as a media center.

You flat out can't; it is a limitation of the more common MHL implementation, and the Galaxy Nexus uses this MHL implementation.
Samsung had to use a new kind of MHL connection for the Galaxy S 3 to make this exact scenario possible.
*edit* You can plug in an HDMI cable and use a bluetooth remote, though, if that might work for your needs.

[Q] VGA Adapter/converter

Hi there,
I know this question has been posed already, but was hoping that somebody found a good solution in the meantime.
I have Tab 10.1n (Germany) and need to do a presentation in my school which has only beamers/projectors with only VGA option, no HDMI.
Has anybody found a simple / cheap option to do this?
Sorry for my bad English, but I was hoping that you will be able to help me.
Best regards,
Pavana

Plug the Samsung HDTV adapter into the tablet, connect the tablet's power supply cable into the Samsung HDTV adapter, plug the HP adapter's HDMI plug into the Samsung HDTV adapter, connect a 15 pin male VGA cable from the HP adapter to the projector/display. The SGT10.1's power supply cable must be plugged into this adapter chain in order for it to work.

[Q] Outputting Display Via DVI?

Hello everyone,
I have a monitor I'd like to hook my Samsung Note 10.1 (2014) up to, but it only has a DVI-D dual link input.
I know I'll need to buy an MHL adapter, but what's the best way to go about this?
I can't find any MHL>DVI adapters, so should I pick up an MHL>HDMI adapter, then connect that to a HDMI>DVI-D dual link adapter?
Would it be able to output at the monitors native resolution (2650x1600) which is the tablet's native as well?
I've googled around for 30 minutes, can't seem to find an answer.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you.
have you tried connecting other devices using HDMI>DVI-D? if it works, then it should be the same if you connect MHL>HDMI>DVI-D.
basically plug and play from MHL>HDMI, so i don't see any problem if you try MHL>HDMI>DVI-D. of course you'll lose the audio though.
HDMI and DVI-D are electrically compatible, so it should work. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Visual_Interface#DVI_and_HDMI_compatibility
Also, MHL (3rd gen), HDMI and DVI-D support that resolution, so I think it should work.
(source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_High-Definition_Link#MHL_3.0_features)
I wonder if an unrooted tablet has the ability to route audio through the jack output when a hdmi cable is connected. If not you'll need an splitter for audio to.
