Bumper Case for LG Optimus G

Hi All,
I've found this pretty sleek bumper case for the Optimus G.

The ATT phone is different than the Sprint and International version.

$25 is just too steep for a rim of plastic. There are good cases out there much cheaper...

Guys its very very good quality way more than I thought it would be its a plastic rim yes with rubber edging along the inside for actual protection

Looks beautiful! Is that the one from the OP link on eBay? I was hesitant to buy it until verification that it fit on the Sprint version.

One question, is the bumper "raised" enough so the camera lens doesn't touch the surface of what you are putting it on?

Hey, I just got my case.
I have to agree that the casse offers a great amount of protection for just a bumper.
However, I noticed one problem, which really isn't a problem.
My old blackberry micro usb charging cable doesn't fit in the port with the case on; however, the LG one does.
However, it's really a none issue at the time.

Mind posting pics of the black bumper? I'm considering getting this, but am not too fond of the white one.

Just ordered the black one. From South Korea, so I guess it's going to be a while before I get it.

The price is too good to be true for this case so it's most likely fake like the others on ebay. Just a heads up because there are many people who thought they were going to get a real one.

Yup. Plus they dont even make those anymore, they got discontinued awhile back. Just the fakes are available now. Maybe few real one but doubt those are it cause of the price. Nonetheless the fake one I had was so close to real. Almost perfect.

Diztronic is a great value case but it is TPU (which I actually prefer). Otherwise, the ACase seems nice as well. Of course, UAG is on amazon as well, but I personally think they are ugly. :shrugs:

I had this case and gave it away. The buttons are difficult to press and the case turned blue from my jeans. Only worth $1 for phone protection

Imo buy dark colors cause eventually lighter colors will stain overtime. My wife has a hot pink ballistic LS series and it started turning purple with jean stain lol. Its easy to clean off tho, so I guess no biggie. But I can only imagine a white case with stains

I just received one of these in black this week. It's really slick. It says optimus G on the front and inside (embossed), and LG on the back. It takes a few days for the flap to loosen up. I have the folio case, the bumper case, and the diztronic case, and I prefer this one overall. It feels really small in the hand and it's nice that you can talk on the phone through the cover - keeps the screen clean.

Can we get some good pictures to check out out. All the ones online are the same and you can't see much detail.
Also, it is magnetic?

Yea ill definitely take some pictures of the phone with the case on it. I'll probably make a video of it in action too. That's what I had looked for but couldn't find any.

My wife and I have the same folio case and it is very nice. It's manufactured by LG so the fit is perfect, although it has no magnetic or velcro fastener for the folding front cover. Also, the front cover has no opening for the notification light.

Definitely want this. Need more pictures lol

Just received my Poetic Palette Slim for my OG Pro

I now believe that the og pro should have with a soft touch back cover. I just received earlier today from FedEx my Poetic Palette Slim PolyCarbonate black case with a soft touch material. It is so slim it almost feels like I have no case on my phone at all. I'll post a few pictures tomorrow.

I have not used a screen protector in a couple years, do you have one on yours or have an opinion on what you think works well? I was concearned about clarity with the beautiful OGP screen.

I personally liked the rearth slim cases more. They are just much higher quality and on sale at amazon right now for the same price.

I haven't had a chance to put my screen protector in yet. But I love this case. I haven't had experience with rearth cases, but I have a poetic case on my Nexus 7 2013 and love it as well.

I actually like the way both look but have decided definitely to use a screen protector also. The real bear about it is not just the case or just the screen protector, since they are all a bit different they all fit funny sometimes together. I went thru this before with certain protectors working better with certain cases because of where the edges met....I have had way too many problems with peeling edges and corners just because it was cut right where the case edge met. Do you have one paired with that Ringke that is working well??

Based on this post I bought this case and I like it allot, I did expect it to be grippier(sp) but solved that problem with suede. Now I love it.

You are absolutely right. It's now as grippy as say a tpu case. But it is definitely better then the OEM plastic. I just love holding my OGP in my hands with this case on.

i bought the Nillkin, im very happy with it overall, but the edges are not rounded which is a minor inconvenience, when this nillkin one gets scratches or if it breaks ill look for one with rounded edges.

Is the Rhinoshield is worth the price compared to somewhat cheaper options? The screen protector will be paired by either the Tudia or Diztronic case if it matters.

I just purchased the 9H for $7.50ish on EBay. They advertise rounded edges.

I got the Orzly because of the cutout. It has just the earpiece cutout vs a longer cutout to include the front camera on the Nillkin.
I've never had an issue with the front camera covered so I preferred it that. It looks a lot cleaner too :good:

Got the Ultimate Shields but I still haven't received it ...
