[Q] Network Extender, data, and 4.4.2 GPE? - Verizon HTC One (M7)

Hi,
I installed Santod's GPE 4.4.2 ROM, and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with the GPE ROM and the Verizon 3G Network Extender.
On Bonestock 2.0.2, the phone connects to the Network Extender via voice and data (1x and 3G - unpredictably). If I am on wifi and turn off the wifi, the phone will fall back fairly quickly onto the 3G or 1x data from the extender.
What I have found so far on the GPE 4.4.2 ROM is that the phone will appear to not connect to the Network Extender's data (voice is fine). The "mobile network" status is "disconnected" and it does not appear to be trying to reconnect to the data network - either 3G via the NE or weak LTE (unlike Bonestock). If I shut off the network extender and walk outside the mobile network will eventually reconnect to LTE once wifi is toggled off.
I've tried both the radios (1.12.41.1112_2 and 1.12.42.1104. I have also tried the complete reset that Santod recommends (stock ROM/recovery, factory reset in stock recovery, reflash of custom ROM).
Could this be more of an issue related to the GPE not being for a native Verizon device (thus not 100% working with the Network Extender)? Is there a way to force the mobile data reconnection (airplane mode hasn't been totally successful)?

I don't have a lot of experience with the Network Extender as they don't stock them in the indirect retail stores, but from what I can tell it's probably more to do with Android 4.4 than anything else. It MAY be because the GPE port is a GSM based ROM and it's not properly talking to the extender, but that's more unlikely because it works just fine with Verizons data anyways.

No phone signal yet can use mobile internet

I've got a strange problem that I cannot solve or find anyone else that has had the same problem.
I recently updated to Minco V4 and since my status bar has been showing no signal and mobile standby shows 100% without signal yet I have mobile data. I cannot make any phone calls but can browse the internet. No amount of rebooting, airplane mode on/off will work. I've also gone back to both stock ICS and JB where the problem still exists.
My network is T-Mobile and it won't let me manually connect to it but the phone will occasionally register when I select automatic although it doesn't correct the fault. Anyone have any ideas what has gone wrong with my phone?
UPDATE: It seems I can only get a phone signal when select 2g T-mobile network only or connecting to T-Mobile orange. If I untick 2g networks and it connects to t-mobile 3g I can't receive or make calls.
Does your Radio and baseband match?
I installed the linked radio from the MiNCO thread after flashing the rom and discovering this issue yet it made no difference.
I got a phone signal momentarily about 15 mins ago which allowed me to make a short phone call to test it. I then accepted the JB system update from Google and now have no phone signal, just data.

3G disconnect, only use 2G (GSM). Help me!

I installed room ( {Rom}{ICS} Official Global CM9), after 2 days my phone's network is disconnected. I reinstall the original room 2.3.4 but only use 2G when I used dataroaming; completely unusable 3G & network global mode always (I fullwipe data before reinstalling room 2.3.4 ; radio 1.09.01.0312 & APN properly installed). Please help me how to be able to use 3G
because my phone is example:
Unfortunately, I'm having the same problems with this ROM on HSDPA that I was having on aeroevan's ROM. GSM is found immediately on boot, however, HSDPA is very flakey. It will succeed in connecting every now and again, but then randomly drops the signal and won't reconnect. I thought maybe I just had a weak 3G signal where I was testing, but I have a BB Bold for work as well and that can easily maintain a 3G connection on the same network. I also had no problem way back in the day with CM7.2, but that ship has sailed .
Also, when the phone is in WCDMA preferred mode, after a while the phone will lose all connections (usually after a reboot but not always), including to GSM and when I go to reselect my network operator I get the message "Error while searching for networks". No matter how many times I reboot the phone or switch to "GSM Only" or "GSM/WCDMA auto" it never lets me again select my network provider.
Dude you already posted the same thing in q&a why did you post here

[Q] 3g and 4g problems

since i unlocked the phone i am having problems with my phone
It refuses to stay connected to 3g networks . it connects but after a while it disconnects and doesn't connect again only( if i reboot the phone it does but drops again)
Forcing WCDMA only doesnt fix it , if i choose GSM/ WCDMA it reconnects to gsm
If i pick LTE signal i can do everything but receiving calls it says its turned off
I tried:
Installing stock firmware ( currently 4.4.2 DTM unbranded) and other custom firmware
Getting new sim card and changing carrier ( its not a carrier issue)
All Apn settings are fine
please advise
ok 4g according to info i saw i cant receive calls , however i want it to stick with 3g witch due to my problem has been impossible
signal bar drops after being full and ban no signal
Anyone?
Signal Drops == not fully compatible modem

[Q] If my phone turns off for a long time, I lose ability to connect to 4g LTE

Hello, I'm pretty new to the custom rom world.
I am currently using latest Spirit AOSP cm11/kitkat based rom with the stock kernel that comes with this.
Now If i use the ND8 stock rom, there is no problem whatsoever with the ability to connect to 4g LTE.
But for some reason, when I'm on custom ROM and my device turns off for a long time / I disable my radio (when connected to wifi)--I'm not sure which one causes the problem--the phone just loses ability to connect to LTE.
I use two apps:
LTE Discovery
advanced signal status
advanced signal status lets me see if my phone can find 4g lte signal/how strong it is. When the 4g LTE is working, i get signals in -(number)db, but when it doesn't it just says n/a for all the sections.
with LTE discovery I use it to see what type of connection i get-- LTE when 4glte is working, and eHRDP? or evdo rev. A for when I can't connect to lte.
my APN settings are correctly set-- my phone has data, voice, and text-- it's just the LTE connection that gets dropped for seemingly no reason.
My method of fixing this is wiping data/cache/delvik/system, install stock kk nd8, perform SCRTN, make sure data/phone/text is working
then I wipe data and cache, then restore my rom... that is working..
If I restore to a point when lte was not working, lte will not work..
but doing this everytime my phone can't lte is very tiring..
I don't even know where to start troubleshooting this issue i have..
I don't even know if anybody has the same issue.. or even heard of anything even close to this.. please help

LTE connectivity issues, "3107" 3G network

Hi everyone,
My M9 has been having consistent issues with LTE connectivity. I'm rooted, s-off. The issue I'm having is that I regularly only connect to the 3G network, and my phone labels it simply as "3107". In the network list, I'm often connected to the Verizon Tracfone network, not the full vzwinternet network. If I manually switch these, it only lasts a short amount of time and LTE connectivity is weak. I've re-flashed a stock rom, same issue. New sim card even, same issue.
Any suggestions on how I can see exactly what bands are on/off and if my baseband firmware is out of date and/or broken - and if so - where I can get the latest version to try and fix it?
Thanks
