Hey member, wanna' flash CyanogenMod on the phone.
There is lot's(and lots) of info' here on this already, though can't find the links as yet..
If any member/s could leave the links need for CyanogenMod download, and all other links, looks like i need to flash google apps too..
Also, is the 2 sim function working now on the ROM? Ideally it would be good to be back on .41.2 rather than kit kat,.

Dual sim is now working fine but still in experimental thanks to the developer for his hard work...so u can install the custom ROM's....

First you need to upgrade your rom to touchwiz 4.2.2 and then you can flash kitkat or any other custom rom because you can't flash custom rom on 4.1.2 bootloader ... So if your device is not rooted, go to settings and do a software update... Or you can alternatively flash firmware from sammobile... Hope it helps..

Hey gamekiller, thanks for info'. That's a surprise, I presumed I could flash any rom on stock... Cool thanks.. My grand is rooted, and like I say running stock 4.1.2 with CWM.

Its better u unroot ur phone and flash official 4.2.2 firmware from samobile and root it back...because most of all the custom ROM's use 4.2.2 has their base so u can hardly find and rom which supports 4.1.2 but S there r some but if u want install cm11 based or AOSP based ROM's u should definitely need to update it to latest Andriod 4.2.2....

Here you go http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2563557 this supports dual sim functionality but its still on experimental our dev's are still working on it thanks to them.. and regarding apps just download gapps from there itself and flash via Recovery... All the best

I know this might sound a stupid question- with the CM11 as it's still new, it's still need work done to fix a few issues, my question is, if I flash this, and root my phone, as its a custom rom CM it get's upgraded automatically , when new fixes/upgrades come out right? It's not like stock firmware rooted where i can not upgrade. Right? I mean the CM 11 gets better with time, and i dont have to keep reflashing right>???

First u have to root ur phone and install latest recovery...After flashing this rom u have wipe cache, dalvic cache, factory reset just read instruction carefully and follow it donr skip any step has it can cause major problems or boot loop...No u will not get OTA update in CM coz its not official due to dual sim functionality being experimentally once this issue is solves completely dev's will make it official and then u may get updates via OTA..till then whenever new update is released u have to download full ROM and flash it via Recovery... before installing make backup of current ROM so that if anything goes wrong you can revet back..and its very lite below 250mb.. All the best...

Lot's of good info here... Thanks/respect.
After doing more research, I am hankering toward staying on stock, as phone is set up all good, AND not sure if I want some of the current issues on this experimental version... (Though developer doing good work) Will defo' do it when some of the issues get resolved.. Hope I didn't waste your time. Will use your infos' at a later date, when I am reflash CM11 later on..
I looked for stock 4.2.2 flash on sammobile, though there is no downloads for my location (UK) Can I use another location>? Say Germany or India? Or is that liable to soft brick my phone.. ? ? ?

Don't install the firmware from other region coz each region has its own setting might me bandwidth 2G or 3G so and in some regions its locked so don't try it u might end bricking u r mobile...search u r region only..

First you follow this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2160671 to get custom recovery installed.
After finishing the above said process You can download this https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23610159112651924 recovery and flash. Or U may flash TWRP from here https://s.basketbuild.com/filedl/dev....1.0_i9082.zip

Thanks but i have another stupid question, will it really work on my phone? Because mine is GT-i9080L Not 82 as this forum explains, Suposed that both are galaxy grand and the difference is the simcard but what if there is another difference? Would this dmg my phone?

Sorry didn't notice that. Don't follow the guide which i have mentioned to root and recovery. It's only for 9082 only.

Np, i found to install the CWM 6x but my stupidity is really high, i tryied to flash RR and now my phone is stuck on "Samsung galaxy grand GT-I9080L" When turning it on. How to fix that too ._. Shall i install restock rom?

Install stock ROM using Odin. Search a bit for your model and u will find guides.

Already, my main problem now is installing CM11, i need a CWM with SElinux support, PhilZ or whatever is which i have but seems that isnt compatible due to Error 7 or something when installing the rom.
Edit/ All is right now, just needing to find a good ROM 4.4 For my android ^^ RR Sucks hard on my phone, not because of perfomance, its just, not compatible, it give me the stuck img on grand when turning it on. i think i found a good CM11 as i told in the first post.

I cannot run any ROM that needs another room, ya understand? I mean, via odin i can install the 4.2.2 (From sammobile) but if i flash it , it allways keeps stuck on Samsung galaxy grand gt-i9080L . Already tryied with RR, CM11, DU , i don't know what to do! , btw , i'm flashing it as instructions of every1, like dirty, wipe, flash, reboot, and flash gapss, or RR Wipe, Flash, flash and reboot.

But in spanish forums are marked as working for i9080 and i9080L :/ Then there's no 4.4 ROM for i9080L ? Is kinda stupid cuz Both are galaxy grand, i9080 and 82..

4.4 ROMs work flawlessly with I9080L. @tutibreaker successfully used every custom 4.4.x ROM.

Okay .. I screwed up .. here are the details ..
bought an lg g2 from ebay india assuming its d802 .. my first android ever ..
and thankfully ... it is labeled as d802 on the back of the device .. lil did i know my excitement was abt to end there ..
turns out its running ls980zvc .. the OS lists the model as - ls980
being a first timer .. i could only figure out the following details :
1. the build is KOT49I.LS980ZVC (ANDROID VERSION 4.4.2)
2.product: g2_open_cn
3. device is not rooted
4. revision and recompile - some chinese name i couldnt figure
5. baseband - M8974A-AAAANAZM-2.0.20046
the device was workin fine with voice calls... but there was no apn settins avlbl .. or system update settings avlbl ..
and this morning .. in order to get the data work ... i screwed up by selecting the cdma mode .. after which the mobile networks settings got grayed out ...
how should i proceed further?

thanks for the reply .. i got the data to work by using radio switcher and Tweakker from the playstore ..
u say stock d802? does that mean i have a d802? (its labeled as d802 on the back) .. anyway .. im in india .. going back to d802 stock .. should be fine? no sim locking again?
ps. why would someone put ls980zvc firmware on a d802 and sell it in ebay?

I had the exact same issue, its really a LS980 but was sold as a d802 as that model is what LG sells in India (Basically some one kinda cheated you). I have PMed you though.

I am having the same problem, and I already tried going back to stock, but I think my hardware is just to old to handle the downloads, it just keeps failing during installation.
Being a complete amateur doing this kind of thing, I could sure use some tips on how you resolved your mobile data issues.

if the downloads are failing .. try updating the google playstore app .. to build 4.9 atleast .. the latest build 5.1 is yet to reach people ...

go to sammobile and download full rom, unpack and flash only modem if you want, but I don't think modem is the fault
So what to do now other than downloading full rom? Everything works fine except mobile data..
Please give me some solution..

you should find your gsm operators apn settings. when you found settings go to mobile networks and go to access point names. you will see empty list. Click to ''+'' and write your apn settings. and save)

so can i convert my Mobile version to SM-N910f international version
or any rom working in marshmallow like the orignal and mobile data button show in notification panel

You cannot convert to n910f but you can flash custom rom with data fix and make everything work.but i suggest if you dont have idea in rooting and flashing then sell it and get international model .if you know how to flash roms use odin tool and install custom recovery i can help you.

Open twrp recovery and wipe system+cache+ dalvik cache then Flash this rom and data fix together then reboot and wait 15 to 20 minutes to boot and you will have everything working fine. if any problem tell me :good:

but when i bay the phone it has android lollipop and in the model number 910f and tiket under the bettry was has a fake serile number and fake imei but every thing was working fine in lollipop

This rom and kernel from n910g indian note 4 but with data fix it will work on n910p .in twrp just wipe cache&dalvic cache& system and flash rom+data fix+kernel all together and waait 15 minutes to boot. If you can tell me your baseband version so i can help you and find correct rom for you? Go to settings/about device/ and see what is baseband version tell me. Or send me screenshot of about device.

If you can tell me your baseband version so i can help you and find correct rom for you? Go to settings/about device/ and see what is baseband version tell me. Or send me screenshot of about device.

Yes you need rom compatible with your baseband just try the rom that i send you and if not working i look for you good rom.

ja, its working fine on gsm and 3g unfortunately in egypt no 4g but it will work in 4g in Germany ??
2. can i add mobile data button in notification panel?
3. the galaxy note apps not all on the phone ?

N910p only 4g work in america with sprint sim card.you will get 4g signal in germany but its actually hspa+ thats 3.5g so its fast same like 4g. All apps you can download from playstore and galaxy apps. Yes you can add mobile data button in notification panel by this app in download below
First turn on multi window button in notification panel and then download app after open app and press remove from quick toggles after you will see data toggle is in notification panel.you can uninstall app after no problem. Remember to turn on multi window button in notification panel before use this app otherwise it will not work.

Try again and after mobile data button come in notification panel you edit and change place of button after that never dissappear.
