[Q] International Rom and Data Connection - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II

I have a rooted tmobile note 2 on 4.1.2 and old bootloader. I wanna go to 4.3 without knox. I do know you need to either run the new bootloader or wifi patch to get the phone to boot and wifi to work. The issue is that i am running into is the rom seems to boot fine however I have no signal/data connection at all. I have my EFS folder backup . When it boots it shows a circle with a line through it where the signal should be. However when i go back to 4.1.2 i get it back. Any recommendations or what modem to use with international roms?

[Q] Note 2 fails to authenticate to any Wifi when flashing 4.3 customs

Hi,
I may not be the only one having this problem as i've had reports of this happening on the fakejap thread. Basically my wifi fails to connect to my home network after flashing a 4.3 custom rom (Fakejap, Phoenix, DN3). It does however work when i flashed the stock MK4 rom.
Not sure if i may have done something wrong and odin broke something during the bootloader update or the wifi patch.
Attached is the logcat also when trying to connect.

Network Data Hosed

I've gotten my phone into a state where I see signal bars, I can make calls and send texts, but no LTE or H+ is displayed and if I try do anything involving the internet it says there's no network connection. Wifi works just fine.
Here's how I got into the predicament. I should have learned my lesson from last time I flashed a Verizon ROM, but I didn't, and I flashed SkyNote RC9Z-3.9.1. Data works just fine in THAT ROM, but any subsequent ROM flashed after that... the network data is completely HOSED. I've tried enabling and disabling network data in settings. I've tried flashing the Devil kernel. I've tried restoring several different ROMS from nandroid backups. All restore fine and all have completely non-working network data. Last time I ran into this I had to flash the stock image in Odin to fiz the issue. This time however, that didn't work. The images flashed successfully, but upon reboot all I got was a a welcome screen bootloop of the samsung swirly logo and the T-Mobile logo.
I'm guessing this has something to do with the 4.3 bootloader? I'm downloading T889UVUCMK7_T889TMBCMK7_TMB.zip from SamMobile site and boy is it taking FOREVER! 7 hours left on the download. My thinking thoug is that If I unzip this new 4.3 firmware and flash it with Odin (or Kies if I absolutle have to) my device will start behaving again, and Network data will work, and I can go about ROM flashing and hopping again (though I'm gonna stay away from those Verizon ROMs let met tell you!).
Does anyone else have any other suggestions on what I can do to get my data back or to patch my bootloader to the 4.3 version? I was looking at this thread and wondering if it's safe to follow this procedure for patching once I have installed the 4.3 stock image:

Any help is appreciated.

[Q] Mobile Data Disconnecting

I've been having regular issues with my data connection dropping out, sometimes 2 - 3 times a day.
Most of the time, the data icon is still visible in the status bar, but no pages load. The status bar data toggle off / on gets it connected again. Sometimes however, the data icon goes away and only a reboot or toggling flight mode brings it back.
I'm running Ditto Note 3 (KK), but had similar issues on previous custom roms and stock 4.3. I don't remember having any problems with the original Jelly Bean. A friend also has the same issues which started around the same time, on stock unrooted Samsung 4.3. We're both on Orange (UK).
Is this a software issue, or could it be anything to do with the SIM card?

It seems more like a modem related issue ,since you rooted try the newest modem which is ND3 ,flash it via recovery
ND3 Modem
Only download the modem file not the ril file.

Thanks, I'm already on ND3 though. Is it worth downgrading the modem?

[E971] No data on JB modem after OTA. EFS restore doesn't help

I've been having issues with my E971 on Rogers ever since I tried to flash an E975 ROM on it some time back. The phone is unable to connect to the network and shows 'Service Disabled'. I am unable to manually add an APN or search for networks. If I take the SIM out of the phone it shows my IMEI but if the SIM is in the phone it shows as null.
I used a KDZ to go back to the stock Jelly Bean version of Android and still had the same issue. I thought it might be an issue with the modem so I rooted the phone and flashed houstonn's Rogers JB modem and still couldn't solve the issue. If I flash the ICS modem on the 4.1.2 ROM I'm able to connect to the network but WiFi doesn't work. I tried installing various different AOSP based custom firmwares and was able to get data using the ICS modem but again no WiFi. Using the JB modem on an AOSP ROM would give be an external modem(undefined) subsystem crash. At this point I got my hands on a stock ICS bin file for the E971 and flashed it using LGNPST. On 4.0.4 both my data and my WiFi worked so I backed up my EFS manually using adb and ran the OTA updates on the phone. Unfortunately once I had updated to 4.1.2 the network stopped working and once again I got the 'Service disabled' messaged. Manually restoring my EFS didn't solve the issue.
It seems that for some reason my phone is unable to work with the JB modem. I find it odd that after restoring to stock the OTA would end up breaking it like that. I'm not sure if I'm backing up and restoring the EFS wrong or if the phone is just broken in some way. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

[Q] Connection Issue with Mobile Data - Modem Problem

I've run into a bit of a pickle with my root attempt on one of my LG G3s. The first went without a hitch while the 2nd didn't go so well. In order to flash CM12, I followed the LG G3 stock flash guide from hyleton to downgrade from Lollipop to 4.4.2. I then flashed CM12 with TWRP and hit a snag where the mobile data connection would try to establish, and the phone would black screen requiring me to pull the battery. The only way to get passed the CM12 setup would be to boot without the TMO SIM card.
Because I considered this a failed port, I flashed back to stock 4.4.2 but can't connect to the TMO mobile data network, but I am successfully able to get passed initial setup with the SIM Card in. IMEI and mobile number are still registered to the device, so at this point I'm assuming the issue is with a bad modem flash that occurred when I went back to stock 4.4.2. When I check the baseband version, the number/letter combo is quite large and doesn't seem to match with your typical Baseband versions, hence why I think I have a corrupt modem.
I can't find any modem software packages out there for the US TMO LG G3 variant, so was hoping someone could point me in the right direction or otherwise help provide some guidance on how to get my data connection back.
Hey,
I've got the exact same problem. Did you manage to repair it?
Thanks.
C.
You could try asking for a modem package for your variant here on the forums, otherwise you could try a custom ROM and wiping everything even the modem before flashing, most ROMs come with a modem built in.
